DO NOT GO TO THIS CASINO. They lie and cheat. The minute we started winning at blackjack, they shut down our game halfway through the deck. When we asked why they said they were shutting down the casino. However, every single table was still playing except ours. The manager, who spoke English all day, suddenly could no longer speak English. Then the change counter claimed they didn’t have American dollars, until a Dominican man walked up and protested on our behalf. Then they suddenly had dollars. This place is a scam and should be avoided at all costs. As a long-standing Marriott member, I am appalled that Marriott is associated with this place.

I love this casino, but many of the dealers are very rude and seem to not like Americans. They expect you to tip after every win and they are not shy about telling you they want tips. This is a turn off. I typically tip when I am leaving the table. I win a lot here. But the other casinos are much more customer friendly.

Nice place but horrible service. To top it up, there is No alcohol for the players. You have to pay for your own drink. No one asks if you like anything to drink. Hope that can change the policy soon!

Others reviews mentioned how unfriendly they are towards Americans, it’s true. Weird vibe at the roulette table from the other players and the dealer. Played at two roulette tables and both times the dealers were more interested in talking to their friends (other dealers). DO NOT come here and expect professional dealers, or rules. They said no more bets immediately after spinning the ball. The only plus is that the minimum were 25 pesos as an American you will feel rich and can play for hours with little money.

Don’t go to the casino if you’re an American. Locals put money in machines then wait for you to sit down and then claim you’ve stolen their money. Management even went along with them and no one spoke English to explain the situation.

Clean for a casino, but small. Was happy there was no smoking inside. Didn't win so can't say much about that, but overall not bad entertainment for an hour or two.

It's your average place rather disappointing for what is supposed to be a top-notch hotel in the Dominican Republic

Have been to the merengue bar a couple of times. Very bad acoustics there. Too loud for the venue. They need to find a way of balancing the sound, especially when a life band is playing.

Very fun place. I have to say this is the first, casino that I've ever seen to have so many roulette tables compared to blackjack/poker tables which were not that many. The food they give you after gambling for a while was pretty good.

The place is okay, nothing that you will call a casino. Staff was attentive, very nice. Will go back only if that is the only thing open.
