We recently traveled to Dom Rep for the first time and didn't realize how far Santo Domingo was from the airport. I called SD taxi and talked to Ken who was exceptional to work with from the beginning. Very friendly, very thorough and reassuring. He was quick to respond with instructions and went above and beyond to make our whole travel experience smoother. Our driver, Danny, drove us over to 2 hours to our resort in Punta Cana and was so pleasant! His van was newer with cool water waiting for us. He was wonderful to chat with and spoke very good English. Danny was exactly where Ken told us he would be which made it easier to find him in the crowd of drivers. Danny also drove us back to the airport and it was lovely to see a friendly face. We will absolutely use this company again when we travel back! Thank you!

I just came back from this Santo Domingo trip. Our hotel was in Bayahibe about 1 and a half hour from the airport. Ken was extremely helpful in answering our questions and emails, and he quotes his prices fairly. He responded within 24 hours and gurenteed you your safety. If you don’t speak English he sends you a English speaking driver. If any off chance he can’t find an English speaking driver or translator, Ken personally comes with you to your destination to ensure your safety needs and questions are answered. Being in a foreign country is hard, but this taxi service was extremely reliable. Our flight back home was at 6am, and our taxi showed up at 1:30 on time and prepared to bring us back to the airport. I highly recommend this service. After traveling to Santo Domingo a few times, this is the taxi service I highly will come back to.

If you want to get robbed this is the right place for you. On top of that we were threatened to be left on the street in middle of no where! Ken made up a story that we had covid and asked for an extra $600 USD!!! He was about to leave us on the highway with a 6month old baby and called us names and asked for extra money for no reason!!! Do not go to this place for business this is straight robbery and threats once he has you in his car.

A pleasure to deal with from beginning to end -- Ken was lovely to deal with and speaks perfect English, promptly returned all my emails, followed up to confirm the upcoming trip when we were just a bit away from our departure day, and sent pics of who to look for (thus helping us avoid those awkward moments when you're having to covertly check out anyone driving by slowly or who happens to be loitering near your pickup spot!). Our driver was so prompt he was early, drove smoothly and safely (even in the super crazy city traffic), and his car was luxurious and clean. All this for the most reasonable price of all the companies I obtained quotes from (for a long, long cross-island trip). Highly recommended; I have already referred some of my closest friends to them for their upcoming trip to the DR.

I had the best easiest experience with this company!! First off Ken the owner had great communication with me setting up pick up times, he replys fast! And my driver Danny was awesome!! As a solo female traveler in the car for 2 hours to las terrenas I felt super safe!! he speaks English so we had many conversations, we laughed, we had extra time so I got to take some sightseeing pictures and he stopped and got me a coffee too! I felt like we because friends! Thank you so much I will be using this company every time I visit DR!

My go-to taxi service! By far the most consistent of any company I’ve dealt with in all my years visiting and living n in DR. The vehicles are clean, the drivers are all professional, courteous, and well trained, and the service is top-notch! Pricing is very competitive and a much better value than I’ve seen with some others. I’ve used SDT for my own pick ups at SDQ and STI, for shopping trips all over Santo Domingo, and now for picking up family and bringing them to Samana. I never had any concerns entrusting them with my family!

We would like to recommend this service; from the beginning the communication was excellent, the proprietor, Ken, spent a lot of time helping us to make our own decisions regarding travel plans, all of the input/information was very helpful, including general orientation factors relating to the Dominican Republic. We were picked up promptly from the airport and given a private tour of Santo Domingo for a very reasonable price. The tour offered a driver and a guide, who was bilingual Spanish/English, the guide gave the tour in both languages, since my traveling companion is monolingual Spanish. Our early morning transfer needing to be altered at the last minute, which was accommodated, the agency also made exceptional efforts to assist with a third party issue. We will again use this service when we return.

One of the best that I have seen in the republic dominates and good treatment of the staff, mainly Ken, offers you all the services, always attentive if you need a person who speaks your language, the driver sends you with a transducer or tea accompanies you in the trip, I recommend it to anyone in the whole world. thanks ken for the good service and your team.

Excellent Professional Service, Reliable with a Clean & Courteous Fleet We have been traveling to the Dominican Republic since 2007 and started using Santo Domingo Taxi in January 2019. We found it to be the best taxi service in the DR. Ken, the owner and manager of the Company, is cordial and quick to respond. We have traveled in several of his vehicles multiple times and they are always impeccably clean. Drivers are always polite and on time (or early). We find the service superb and highly recommend them.
