Let’s start off by saying the hotel needs major improvements in the rooms. The location and the surroundings are great. The breakfast was mediocre and it’s like pulling teeth if you want to order something extra like an egg. It’s a weird set up having to get your own silverware and coffee and bread, but all together the breakfast is enough to just break the fast. Also they do not offer any water, you have to buy bottled water, it’s a very stingy feeling. Oh and we got 3 pieces of bacon for 2 people... If you get a standard room we were told all have non functioning toilets. You will only get a functioning toilet if you get an upgrade I guess. There was not a la gauge barrier this was word for word what she said. We didn’t find out, we were moved to a different room only to get a non functioning toilet and a half functioning air conditioner. The air only worked from the hours of 9pm to 7am. There are weird doors that do not lock all the way. The location is really great. The pool is a little dirty. The beach is great. And you are right next to two boardwalks. I would not stay here again, but it was ok for 2 nights no more than that.

Great location, awesome swimming pool. Rooms are not that great considering the cost. Bed quite comfortable, good air conditioning, no English channels on the TV. Stunning gardens and direct access to the beach via a walk way. No breakfast option at the hotel, but the beach side Cafe opens at 7am. Plenty of other options out the front.

Love this place!!! I love its location, it’s homely ambience, and the convenience. Staff were incredible – friendly, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough! Yes, it’s a little older but it’s very ‘Bali’, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The property’s Grounds are gorgeous, and it’s a short walk through the very pretty grounds to the beach - and Sanur beach is like no other! The only negative was the food in the restaurant… Sadly the food is very lacking and after trying three breakfasts and one dinner I ate elsewhere for the rest of my trip. If they can get this right, with this ideal location this property would be perfect! Most definitely not posh but when you’re holidaying and you spend such a short amount of time actually in the room everything else becomes so much more important...

Location was perfect. On main street right opposite 3 Monkeys restaurant. Quiet relaxing place with lovely gardens. Old style Bali accommodation. Very clean. Nice pool and backs onto beach through short laneway. Hotel provide deckchairs on beach. Will stay again.

I was here a few years ago and plan to go back in the future. The villas are wonderfully decorated and well cared for. It is a beautifull environment with pools and embraced by nature. 10/10 recomend. It's an amazing place for vacation and the bets possible way to relax and unwind. Strongly recommend staying there.

We were very happy here. It is dated with history. We love the location being close to the beach, shopping and night life. My wife and I spirit sensitive and notice a beautiful lady in white with long black hair floating around. A temple guard that guards the courtyard at night. Very cool.

I've stayed three times. Last trip, it was closed for renovations. I did visit to look at the pool. Lovely people, best pool, comfortable rooms. Best location - close to everything I need. Walk through to beach.

I have stayed here many times before, and I was really disappointed this time when I was just visiting my friend who stays there. The staff at the reception were not welcoming at all and rudely yelled at me, asking where I was going. I am Australian and Italian but I look like an Indonesian local person because my background is Indonesian which could be the reason for their behavior. Knowing this and how sickening they treat other human being I have decided not to stay there again as they don't deserve my business.
