If you’re looking to be woken up every morning by construction and drilling, this is your hotel. Even after repeatedly kindly asking management not to start the construction at 8:30am, they continued to do so. To management: you should really go up to one of the rooms and hear for yourself. It sounds like the person drilling is in the room. I would probably avoid this “5 star” hotel if I were you…

One week in August 2021. Breakfast was soso but sometimes not enough staff to prepare eggs so i left without. Lunch and Dinner are just expensive without reasonable quality. Service is sometimes good but sometimes really poor like in 1 Star Hotel. Pool is too loud. Some days room was not cleaned. Pillows were to hard. In total it is an expensive hotel without the value for those high prices. Never again. Maybe it is the Price for Brazil‘s Economic crisis in the recent years.

We stayed here for a few days during our visit to Sao Paolo a few weeks ago . We have been really well looked after by everyone at the hotel. The hotel is well appointed, has great facilities, rooms were great and the breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and the facilities the hotel had to offer.

Everyone I interacted with on the hotel staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. It’s definitely 5-star service. Housekeeping, in particular, is wonderful. Just so much kindness. I think the real weak spot is the culinary side of the house. The flagship dinner restaurant is WAY overpriced; the food there is good, just not for what they’re charging relative to São Paulo in general. The breakfast just wasn’t good. The scrambled eggs were inedible. But again, the people who worked there were just so kind and accommodating. The rooms are nice but unimpressive - the desk is awkwardly positioned, and the decor is a little dated for my taste. The final thing (and this isn’t the hotel’s fault) is that it’s a bit remote from the best of São Paulo. So if you’re thinking you’re going to use it as your tourist base, you might want to think again. It feels a bit like a DC convention hotel than where you’d go for romance or fun.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt São Paulo in November 2022 and had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff, including the general manager, treated me like family and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and the amenities were top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting São Paulo. Kudos to Vitoria and the rest of the staff!!

I really don’t expect to find a lizard wondering around the room when I stay at a 5 star hotel. On the bright side, concierge was super nice, offered to change rooms, and treated me with a nice drink. Oh wait - that was just my imagination. Concierge was actually unapologetic and seemed bothered when I asked to change rooms. Needless to say I’m never staying at this hotel again. Not even because of the friendly lizard but because of the staff. Hasta la vista Grand Hyatt

One of the best 5star hotel in Sao Paulo especially if you are traveling for business. Great service, food and cost benefit. Only downside is the location, where it can be quite far from the center of the city or the old downtown near Luz. We have stayed here more than 10times and even when we encounter some issues the management handles the issues professionally. It is definitely one of our favorites in SP. Highly recommend

Wonderful hotel. We only had a short stay but enjoyed the pools (both external and indoor) and the top-level equipment at the gym; however, the best feature was the hospitality of the staff, especially Guest Relations which made our stay special

Sometimes the clientele suck but what can you do about it... everything's great but the sauna could go longer. The timer for the men's side turns off at 9:30pm instead if 10 for the women's side. The pool is great, gym is great, and windows in the rooms are huge.

First time in Brazil and I’m happy I made the decision to stay at GH. Eduardo & Herman were the absolute best. It was my mom’s birthday and Herman gave us the cutest chocolates gift boxes and a great room with a view. During our trip, my mom left her phone in an Uber car and Eduardo did the most with helping us retrieve it. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better staff to have during our stay. Even when we would call for different items throughout the night (toothpaste, towels, feminine products), the staff was prompt and we were always greeted with a smile despite the language barriers. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanted to treated like royalty. Made our visit São Paulo a very memorable one

I stay here about 20 days and I am at day 17 currently, the hotel is beautiful looking, some things a bit dated though, was my first time staying so long in a 5star hotel, can only afford cause work pays most of it, most of the staff is friendly and thoughtful, although after a while you start to notice things, I went today to pay whatever charges where on the room (for me) and I one time had a friend park her car here, since then they tried to charge me parking for every day 😅 while it was 1 day, I don't own a car in Brazil. also tried to charge me stuff from minibar that I didn't took, I know very well what I did and didn't do, I explained and my bill changed from over a 1100 reais to 330 reais, luckily I had a good person on the reception who understood me well and I didn't have to go crazy in explaining ;P but this hotel is a bit sneaky trying to get as much as possible out of your pocket so keep track wel of what you do, also 150 reais for having a guest over is overpriced service fee and bouncers coming at you for that if they see someone who they haven't seen before is very intimidating and doesn't make a person feel very welcome. During my time at least 1 time someone came in without knocking on the door, this is something that is actually not right, what if I am naked ? That's not cool - I do have seen staff doing their best to remember how I like my coffee, that makes up for a lot, also the cleaning ladies do a really good job

Very nice room and friendly staff but for a 5 star hotel not to have business services and laundry available is a bit frustrating especially on a business trip.

The people, the services, the pool and the room are great! BUT, the restaurant is outstanding! Not enough stars to rate it!

I will put four for the room, but it can be 5, it's just that my first room stink, yes I know, I would put 4 too, but they got me another room like almost instantly and honestly room are A1. Enjoyed my stay so far even if their was a inconvenient.

Everything was amazing here at the Grand Hyatt. The concierge was extremely helpful. The cocktails at the bar were delicious! The room was spacious, clean, and very nice. Everyone that worked for the hotel was very helpful. Great stay!

Excellent Grand Hyatt, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel areas and room are exceptionally clean. Breakfast is excellent, order omelette or your eggs with your server, they also have excellent hot chocolate here. The club lounge with a fantastic view and nice variety of snacks for happy hour everyday. The staffs at the club lounge are super friendly. Front desk and concierge are also super helpful and very efficient. There are lots of food options nearby, there are 2 malls right next to each other within 15 minute walk from Grand Hyatt, the Morumbi shopping (fogo de chao) and Marketplace mall (coco bambu), amazing restaurants at both places. There is also an exceptional Italian Michelin star restaurant nearby called Vicolo Nostro via a short Uber ride. The hotel ran out of bath salt, but there is a nice shop called Granado on the lobby level next to the elevators where you can purchase amazing bath salt for the bath tub. We stayed at both Hilton Morumbi and Grand Hyatt São Paulo, and Grand Hyatt SP is definitely a level above the Hilton Morumbi. If you can choose either, I would highly recommend the Grand Hyatt!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a long time. The staff in particular are superb and the food is exemplary. I’m genuinely looking forward to going back.

This is my favorite hotel in Sao paulo. The rooms, the staff and their restaurant C-cultura is phenomenal. Their bartenders go and beyond and they are all so friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel; it is worth every penny.

Overall, a good place to stay. I came here for a conference, and it worked well for one of this smaller size. This is not a center to hold a conference if you have thousands of attendees. It's a 4/5. Solid place. Affordable by USA standards and met my needs. But nothing spectacular. Not much to do and not much to see.

Hotel and rooms are fine. Staff at Restaurant inattentive and reception Personal not capable of issuing a correctly addressed invoice. Meanwhile the 3rd reminder for correction send with blatantly ignorant responses of always the same wrong document - not impressed

I was robbed in this hotel by the maid that entered my room on June 2nd 2022. I left my wallet in my room unattended for about 1.5 hrs and all my cash (USD$350-500) had disappeared. The staff was “faked polite” with the incident and as per today nothing has happened. We all know that Brazil is an unsafe country this days, but you don’t expect these kinds of incidents in a “Grant” Hyatt

Best hotel I ever visited. Maybe not the newest. But everything works, rooms are extra comfortable and employees are incredible.

The Hyatt in Sao Paulo is a really great hotel. I was lucky enough to stay in the Presidential Suite. However, in general you can say that the rooms are great. Large and well furnished. No matter what room class. The service was very friendly and courteous. He also helped and supported with every little question. Every wish was fulfilled. The breakfast was great. There was a large selection of dishes and everything was freshly prepared. Here we are on a high level. The gym and pool are also outstanding. Especially the fitness! They have two very large rooms divided into a weight room and a running room. There is a lot of equipment. I have rarely seen that before. A very big praise. Also the outdoor and indoor pool are great. This hotel is a great place to go while in Sao Paulo. Definitely recommended.

Probably one of the best Grand Hyatt properties I have been to. Excellent breakfast buffet, rooms are large (both suites and regular rooms) and up to date. Service is professional and in alignment with Hyatt’s high standards. Even though it’s close to São Paulo’s domestic airport, everything is quiet wether during the day or night, thanks to the soundproof windows. Bridge view rooms offer an excellent vantage point to observe the Estaiada Bridge (the one that you can always see in ad photos of São Paulo). Special thanks to the staff at the Grand Club that went the extra mile to find a silent spot for my meetings when working remotely.

We had a wonderful stay here for the past week as we celebrated our friends wedding and visited São Paulo for the first time ever. Thank you all for everything. The staff and service was wonderful.

We stayed here for one night and our experience was great! Arriving late in the evening, the staff understood that we wanted to check-in quickly and rest, so they moved efficiently. The room was clean and comfortable for our stay, and the air conditioning worked well. Edson, the doorman was outstanding. He took our bags up to the room and even helped with my food delivery when it was delayed. So hospitable! Wide variety of spread for breakfast, just wish they had more Pitaya! Only got to have one piece :)

Management is great. But the rest over the years really fell under the floor. The service is far from a 5* star and the food at the restaurant is mostly not edible and overpriced. I asked to send someone to help me with my bags, nobody ever came, when there were who knows how many people of their team member in the lobby just sitting. Really upset, wasn't so bad before the pandemic.
