Augusta - Mayor Bruno Covas Park

City park

🫤 This park has been under construction for quite some time and it’s finally finished and I have no idea why it took so long. It’s terribly designed. The dog park was 100% designed by someone who has never seen a dog before. It has only been open for a month and the doors of the dog park are already... People often mention park,

This park has been under construction for quite some time and it’s finally finished and I have no idea why it took so long. It’s terribly designed. The dog park was 100% designed by someone who has never seen a dog before. It has only been open for a month and the doors of the dog park are already falling off. I know Bruno Covas wasn’t the best person but no one deserves to have their name on this place.

Small park that is mostly plane. There is a very tiny hill and a small area with large rock seats like at a stadium but that's it.

After a fierce dispute, the neighborhood won a much needed public park. It's a brand new space with areas for dogs, sunbathing and much more. Worth a visit!

This is a really nice park currently called Augusta Park, that has areas for families, an area to walk exercise your dogs, and to lay in the sun and soak up the sun. It's pretty crowded on weekends, and there is frequently some type of live entertainment on weekends also. There are plenty of clean bathrooms near the stairs.

This park took a while to open but the wait was well worth. It is an amazing little park in a region that needed one.

Nosso querido Parque Augusta! Out beloved Parque Augusta, now named after fprmwe deceased mayor Bruno Covas. It is a victory from all of us citizens who fought for the right to keep this place alive. Good structure located on the heart of Baixo Augusta. On weekends it crowds tough. Try alternative days and times Long live Parque Augusta!

Popular little park with playgrounds both for dogs and kids, spaces for sunbathing and a foresty part for a refreshing walk in the shade. It’s guarded and closed at night, feels very safe.

Could do with a small kiosk for chilled drinks but otherwise best city park around this downtown SP: newly reopened, it has a space for your small 4 legged friends ( cachodromo), a playground and even an open theatre. Bonus super clean.

My favorite park in São Paulo. Centrally located and east access. Great for sunbathing (don’t be shy, locals wear swimsuits!), bringing kids, and picnics! Note that no glass bottles are allowed.

Green oasis at the 200mph pumping core of São Paulo, lovely respite from the urban grit
