Hotel located directly from the Sapporo station. Just look for the signs from the station.. you do not need to exit outside. Two outlets on one side of the bed. At least they work with American plugs. If you never knew how amazing water pressure felt, then you've come to the right place. The water pressure is so good even though the bathroom does need a renovation. I'm around 5'10 and the ceiling when standing in the tub is only 2 inches away. Many toiletries available. Flimsy slippers available. The breakfast that's included is probably the best thing available. If you've been around the area, then you'd know that breakfast food is probably going to be at a Lawson/711. With the buffet at restaurant in the hotel, you get to try many different options during your stay. I'd prefer the American breakfast. Unfortunately, you can hear the water draining from the room issue of the bathroom from the way the piping was set up.

What bad service we received from hotel staff Cho. Granted we accidentally mixed up our check out dates and checked out later than 11am but he kept reprimanding us and was so rude about it, it really made the whole experience with this hotel very bad. Not only did he rush us to leave and refuse extension of another day, he continued to scold us for making things “inconvenient” for the hotel staff. We expected some recommendations of nearby hotels that we cld go to, but of course none was offered by Cho. Sad that I experienced this on my last day in Japan as I have encountered mostly kind and polite Japanese staff throughout my holiday here.

I stayed in a mini suite with a small living room and a bedroom with two twin beds. The living room has a window but not for the bedroom. The breakfast buffet is really good with salmon roe, sashimi, typical Japanese and western stuff, Hokkaido juices, salad, fruit, and even desserts! The location is awesome as it's just right next to the station and hotel staff speaks English well. The reason why I am giving three stars is that my room is a non-smoking room and there were strong smoke smell inside my room. If you don't mind about the smoke smell then it's 5 stars for you.

The hotel is a bit old, but the staff on 2/F is excellent. It must be a top notch hotel when it opened 50 years ago with the cool revolving restaurant at the top. A big positive surprise for us is the Japanese breakfast. We had the choices of set meal, sashimi rice, and beef rice, which we chose the set meal which was great. Superior value for a room at this price point. The Japanese restaurant also looks like a great place for dinner.

The hotel is in a very convenient place and connecting to other malls, so finding something to eat or shopping are very easy.

The location, (so close to the train) and all the shopping can't be beat. Rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds and good amenities. My only complaint is how hot our room is. This is our third night here (mid March) and the third night I'm laying in bed at 3am sweating due to not being able to turn the air conditioning any lower. As much as I like the location (and friendliness of the staff), I am just miserable every night due to the temperature. I really wish the temperature control allowed for it to be cooler in the room. There's one small vent and barely any air coming out of it. We are in room 1439, and we even kept the blinds closed during the day to keep the sunlight out. We also opened our door to let some cooler air from the hallway in. We just don't know how to make it any cooler in here. Other than that, our stay here has been lovely, and the buffet restaurant is really wonderful.

Much said and I agree about this hotel. Location, service, value, breakfast, restaurants and room size. While old but very clean and fairly well maintained.

Honestly surprised that this is a 4-star hotel. Staff are fine, but the building is very old and the rooms are cramped and have a slight air of misery. The bathrooms are tiny and in the shower, your head nearly grazes the ceiling. The one thing that this place has going for it is that it's close to Sapporo Station.

Located next to the JR Sapporo station, made searching for the hotel very easy and was definitely very convenient. Its also located close to many shops and restaurants so looking for a place to eat is never a problem. The breakfast at the hotel was nice. The staff were friebdly. The hotel room was also clean and of decent size

After doing the check in, the rooms were pretty good only with the exception of the hot rooms (in some rooms) and the blanket always falling off. Idk if it’s just me but that’s only the problem I’ve really had here as the buffet had a wide selection of options to eat from compared to other hotels.

Good location but dated building and room. When we first came, room had a bad stench which hotel staff removed by using an air cleaner. Plus we are here in autumn, their air conditioning is weak and can only give air conditioning at 25 or 26 degrees even though it’s turned on highest and coldest. Hotel staff though friendly, cannot do anything about it but provide a fan. Windows are sealed so cannot be opened. Will not stay here again and recommend it to anyone else.

Good location. Just opposite to JR station and shopping malls. There is a Family Mart downstairs and a Starbucks next door. Japanese style breakfast was good. Western style buffet was full of people so I failed to try the so called top 4 breakfast in Japan.

Building is a bit old, as you can see rome wear and tear here and there. Despite that, very clean and orderly. Amenities (soap, shampoo, razor, skin care) are good. Bed, pillows and blanket very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent: fresh pancakes cooked by a chef, fresh honey straight off the honeycomb!!!, vast array of western and Japanese food. Lacks nothing imo. Customer service is very good. Gentleman at the entrance to the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Elite. Location is ideal if you need access to long and short distance buses - literally right across the street from Sapporo station. Would definitely stay again.
