OMG! Best tasting balls ever! Get the number 2, not sure what it is but it's awesome! Stand up and eat them!

When the Takoyaki is fresh, expect a queue. But it's worth the wait. The Takoyaki balls are wonderfully crispy on the outside and the octopus nice and tender. Seating upstairs, if you like, or grab a takeaway while exploring Sapporo. Well priced, for the quality you get.

We ordered all four varieties - love them all.

A popular takoyaki joint, although there was a line, it moved quickly and orders were handled very promptly. We ordered the classic takoyaki to take away, 8 pieces for JPY626, and ate them by the roadside. The outside was crunchy, the inside was moist, and the octopus gave a good chew. Dine-in is available upstairs too for a slightly higher price, but we didn't go up to see. We visited on October 9, 2023, so a bit surprised to see its current status as "Temporarily closed", I am unable to verify whether it's true or not. Highly recommended.

Very good price, very good taste… and you can enjoy your takoyaki from the second floor and rest from street walking

You can't really go wrong with Gindaco. Friendly staff who were very kind to me for my poor Japanese skills. Upstairs is a quiet place to enjoy your takoyaki with a highball while overlooking the snowy streets

Takoyaki here is perfectly cooked. It is crispy & thin on the outside with light & fluffy batter and plumb octopus meat on the inside. Lemon sour is relatively standard but can be refreshing with the tako Seating pace on the 2nd floor is small for dine-in but can be quaint for couples.

Unfortunately the takoyaki is rather tasteless. 2 stars for taste and not 1 because it was crispy on the outside but crispy cardboard is still cardboard... To make matters worse, staff was rude and did not allow us to dine in upstairs. No reason given just refused and pressured us to do takeaway.
