Four of us waited about hour and a half for food. All steaks were overcooked. The bacon wrapped filet mignon was unidentifiable. The were ordered medium rare. My daughter's ribs were so dry and tough they were inedible. On top of that, when we look at our $140.00 bill, they've added a 3 percent fee for what was supposed to be good food. This Honest Goodness Fee was printed in the alcohol menu that we didn't even order from. When the customer is surprised by an extra fee and the server is embarrassed trying to explain it something's wrong.

was seated at bar and waited about 10-15 mins for the bartender. I asked the front house person to get her attention. the bartender replied "sorry didn't see u but if u are going to be grouchy u can leave" I said nothing. I stayed finally got my drink and app both were ok but can tell she was hoping I had left. I ordered chicken finger with fries and gravy. the gravy didn't come till I said j had ordered gravy with it. looked at fries and thought those look a tad overcooked. took a bite into the chicken fingers and the outside was almost black but the inside was undercooked. I asked for bill without the finger stating they are undercooked and I hope i don't get sick from them. she comes back with bill and says in a sparky attitude " the fingers are precooked so they can't be understood" have a nice day. do not go here unless u want food poisoning and horrible service

Went to this Chucks last night for dinner. It’s was around 5:30-6 and the restaurant was about a quarter full. The seating area is pretty big. I had the 7oz sirloin steak with a Caesar salad. For desert we had the carrot cake. Service was very fast and the server was a pleasure to daal with. Definitely would return to this location. Parking is not an issue as there is a massive parking lot adjacent to Chucks.

By far the worst food I've ever received. Over cooked, soggy, dry, and cold and wrong!! They told me it's not their problem and they can assure me that I did receive loaded fries. There's no loaded fries clearly. The manager is very rude and has very little professionalism at all. Very disappointed and I will not be back.

2 racks of ribs were so dry with barely any sauce/meat on them. The sweet potato fries that were included were way over done and we were given barely any fries per each meal. Kids chicken fingers over done to a crisp. Appetizer as well was disappointing. Overall for driving to town and spending over $70.00 was definitely not worth it. Won’t bother ordering again! 👎

Super cool staff. Greets you excellent. Food is average (some items are below average). Food review is according to this particular outlet only as all over Ontario chucks menu is same bt preparations are different in terms of taste. Wings with hot seasoning was very saucy, and too sour. Honey garlic wings were great. 4 stars only because of the staff and due to the atmosphere you enjoy with friends while dine in.

The largest Chuck's we've been to...spacious and very high ceilings. Enjoyed the nachos very much. Steak was cooked as requested. I wanted to order the strawberry pecan salad which I had at another Chuck's but they didn't have goat cheese so I ordered something else. 😥 Food here is real value for your money!

We ordered the shareable Caesar salad with chicken and garlic bread. The salad did come with pita wedges so we could have gone without the garlic bread. This was a filling and delicious lunch for two. I do suggest that they offer their patrons an additional plate. We used the garlic bread basket as our second plate.

It's really good for the price. I like the atmosphere. Service is nice and quick. And the food is really good I've never had to send a steak back. If you're looking for a good steak that won't break the bank. This is your spot.

Until now I burst into laughter when I think of this place: discovering new little places in N America, this place surprised me how sticky the floors were as I entered the place as if a beer fight took place there before and we just missed it!!!! Then I discovered that even the table was sticky, at least was not making the funny noises my shoes were making when walking on the floors - the toilet was simply atrocious. However the food was good, my other half really liked his surf and turf and my steak came with half corn grilled and free of all the ingredients I asked them to avoid - proof they were listening. The mature guy came once asking if we were OK, however speaking to us a bit over the shoulder probably because he realised we were travellers hence he did not need to treat with respect. I would give the food 5 stars yet the attitude probably 2, so let's give it 3 stars altogether. Maybe next time we will be luckier - details to follow in due course.

I was served by the owner , an older East Indian woman . Weird to get served by the owner , and the service was horrible , we waiting long periods of time as she was more interested to serve the large group of people that came in rather than let her servers take care of it. We never got asked how the meal was (fries were cold and not enough plum sauce for one of the meals ) and I had to track her down for refills on drinks , and I had to finally ask another server to let me pay so we could leave after a long period of waiting

We had lunch with our kids’ hockey team. I had a burger, cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty. I was impressed with the customer service and their ability to keep all orders straight and coordinate adults’ meals with each of their kids. It took a while to bring all the food but that’s understandable considering we were about 50 of us. I definitely recommend this restaurant, thank you!

Oh Canada Day! We went out for a steak dinner and got so much more. Best thick juicy steak ever for a good price. We enjoyed the service and the friendly atmosphere. And to top that off we met Sue, the owner who is a wonderful story teller and was a pleasure to meet. Thank you and your "Hubby", the cook for a day to remember. We'll be back! Donnie and Alberta

Came to chucks for a quick drink and bite to eat. Coming after 9 provided an awesome deal with a great selection of 1/2 price appetizers. Our waitress Julie was amazing to us and extremely kind and providing. Julie was fun and provided a great atmosphere. All around good time.

My spouse, my brother and I came to Chucks on December 30 for half prices appetizers and drinks for our first time at Chucks Sarnia. The location is great, and the inside is big and spacious. We were seated promptly, and had Julie as our server for the evening. She started out being pleasant and friendly, but as the night went on, provided horrendous service, became very unfriendly, and dictated what we could or could not drink. This was very unprofessional and quite appalling being first time customers, and having a DD in place for when the night was over. Management needs to sit down with Julie, and educate her on good customer service. All 3 of us did not have a good experience with her. I have been to and reviewed alot of restaurants, and this Chuck's currently sits in the bottom of my restaurant list. Besides that unpleasant experience, the food was actually good, and we had enjoyed it. Loaded fries (needed more toppings and was a tad dried out), steak bites, chicken quesadilla, and the spinach/cheese dip, that lacked quality. Food and beer both were great prices. Overall, our server made our 1st experience very unpleasant, and like I said, management needs to educate her on good customer service. Can't say whether or not I'd come back to this establishment again.

The service was phenomenal. Best I've had in years. Smiling and very attentive. Seems great hospitality is a rare find these days. You can tell a seasoned waitress just by how they carry themselves during busy times. Next time I come I'll be sitting in her section. I made sure to ask her name as she had us in giggles and the service was top notch. Cindy, the blonde cute thing will be the only one serving us from now on. We come in weekly so hopefully she's there when we come! Thanks for a great experience at Chuck's!

My Grandmother and I went in for dinner on Monday October 16th. We were seated promptly and Cindy was our server. She immediately came and got our drink order and was so pleasant!!! We got our drinks and we both ordered the half rib meal. The meal was amazing and Cindy checked on us often. We had a few laughs and chats with her as well, the service was honestly the best we could have asked for! It made the whole experience so amazing and top notch. 5 stars on the food and if I could give 10 for the service I would!

Ordered a cup of tea. Cup was filthy and so was the teapot. Asked the waiter for clean ones....he seemed annoyed. Also, chicken wings were gross. Ate 3 and 5 min later felt sick. Earlier that day I ate eggs and toast so that was not the issue. Definitely do not recommend. I've been to other Chucks in other towns and it was great.

I went for dinner with my family and we had the best time . Let me start by the food. We both ordered a steak my husband and I and it was cooked to perfection and so delicious the only thing I wish is that it would be served with some sort of vegetables or salad on the side but I know it’s franchise so they don’t make up their own menu . Let’s talk about the service we were right the way greeted and seated and I’m so thankful that , the lady who seated us notice we had a very busy toddler and a baby so she made sure to get us a table as soon possible . We had the pleasure to be served by Sue and I have to say that I cannot remember the last time I had an excellent service . She was so attentive and made sure that we were all well taken care of even my newborn ( I ask for warm water to heat up his bottle and she didn’t hesitate for a second and was happy to accommodate), all this happened on very busy evening rush hour on Family Day. We are now making it our favourite go to family date restaurant. Thank you so much for the excellent service we are already looking forward to come back soon.

Asked for wings with Buffalo Sauce, was given wings with BBQ Sauce. Showed waitress and she said that there Buffalo Sauce was sweet. I call BS. Really don't like being lied to. Won't be back. To bad really, because the wings were good, would have been awesome if they had the right Sauce.

The food isn't bad and it is relatively cheap. It is is setup as a good sports bar with big screens visible wherever you are sitting. Whoever was on the grill when I went knew how to cook steaks. Came out perfect medium rare. Not a fancy place so don't expect much in that regard. All around okay.

Not a great experience. We stood at the entrance for a good 5 minutes last Sunday about noon before we were noticed. Food was all over cooked and dried out. Chicken fingers, Montreal smoked meat, fries. All overcooked. Sent the calamari back as it was so dried out and had it replaced and still over cooked. Restaurant was not clean including the bathrooms. Waitresses were not friendly. Normally they would ask “how is everything “. Not here. Even when they brought the bill there was no how was everything today. I could go on but our special family of 4 lunch outing was disappointing.

Good burger last time. Got stead and lobster tail this time with a baked potato, it was really good. Had a good price for pitcher of beer. Definitely a great place to go
