On 1/25/22 @ 2:35pm in Sayreville, NJ I placed an order which took almost no time at all to complete. When I sat down to eat is when the problems were obvious. There were 6 tables that had food & drink residue on them. Then there's the floor.. lots of dropped food is scattered under tables. Does the manager not make the effort to look and have someone clean??? Then there was the HVAC registers in the ceiling all 5 were filthy & had black stuff "growing" on them. The worst parts was the fresh air return! You have to see the pictures to believe how caked up the dirt was.. I would think COVID-19 would have inspired places like this to rethink cleanliness and sanitation, I guess I was wrong.

I had the new chicken ranch rings. They are ok. Minimum order is 6. Small is what they are noted for. Burgers are small and 6 is the usual order. We ordered fries and never got them as we realized after we left. It's a nope again for me.

Haven't been to a White Castle in decades (live out of state). Still an unusual little burger. Fries were good. Soda machine not operating correctly and took several times to get employee to fix. Eating area needed good cleaning.

I came in from a late flight (1am) and the food was fresh and tasted great! I ate the fish slider, impossible sliders, fries, onion rings and a milkshake and nothing tasted over greased or like it has been sitting. The lady who took our order was very kind and also made sure our order was correct! A great place for fast food standards.

Great service but all white castles are slow 🐌 🙄 but always great service

All the food was fresh and hot. Brought back lots of good memories. There's definitely some difference between the fresh and frozen burgers.

(10-15-23) Ordered Online. Haven’t had White Castle in ages. Food was great and it was there waiting for me on time when i arrived.

No veggies sliders available here... disappointed

Food was as good as I remember. Moving to Florida there aren't any White Castle restaurants and the ONLY ONE isn't that good. But server was friendly, food was great, hot, and fresh.

We have been dying to try White Castle for years, but being from mass, it's not really an option unless passing through. We finally made it, and it was worth the trip! It was late in the night, and the line was around the building, but it moved fast. I don't know why this chain hasn't gone national yet! Speaking as a fat person, I'd love to see a White Castle near me someday!

The food was alright but the service is horrible. I placed my order online and got to the restaurant when it was supposed to be ready and I still had to wait an hour to get my food. This was around midnight. They are completely disorganized and attempted to give me the wrong order twice. This location used to be good but not anymore.

This is probably the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to in my life. First off we waited in the line for over 30 mins and then to make things even worst the cashier was also making food. As we waited for our food I realized that he touched cash and then went straight to making the burgers. He didn’t wash his hands nor did he change his gloves! At that moment I stopped him and asked for my refund! I am never the kind of person to cause a scene but this by far was one of the dirtiest things I have ever seen! Crazy thing was he did it and seemed like he didn’t even care, which by the way it was extremely busy in there too and other people noticed as well! Most of the other customers asked for a refund! This place really needs to take things much more seriously when it comes to preparing people’s food and making sure hands and gloves are changed. Just filthy! Please train your staff properly!

I only ever get the chicken rings from White Castle. Although I know they're completely unhealthy, they taste pretty good & are great when you just need something to hold you over. I never eat their burgers because I never understood how they could put bread right on top of their raw meat to cook. There's something very wrong with that image, IMO 🤷🏾‍♀️

Always love the sliders and the fish was pretty good!

The staff was great and the food was warm I didn't mind the wait in the drive thur. The Onion Rings hit the spot from your uber driver

Excellent as always. Try the 1921 slider - it's phenomenal! The coke freestyle machine had all available flavors. Will return.

Went for a late night burger crave. The food is just as good as it’s always been. Drive thru was fast and friendly and most importantly accurate. This location has been on Rt 9 for many years and I hope for many more.

Old food all the time worst customer service I have ever experienced, managers NOT TRAINED and their line is guaranteed to take 20 minutes take the drive to an establishment that does their job . Rude and disrespectful. Act like they don’t get paid. Do better

Drive Thru attendant took my credit card and dissappeared for 3 minutes. She finally appeared and gave me back my card with the food. I had to pull over and terminate my credit card account number because i bet she either wrote my info down or took a picture of my card.. I mean who does that? Don't you want the customer to feel sure that you're not doing a shady thing?

What can you say about White Castle besides Chicken and Waffles n Murder burgers love love love them

I wish I had gotten the name of the wonderful woman at the drive through window. What a great person . She's the reason they get a five star. the burgers are great as usual.

Iconic fast food institution. The service was super slow at this location. The dining room was mess. Looked like the workers were working in slow motion. The food has not changed in over 30 years. Same old gut buster or murder burgers as my husband would say. It is what it is supposed to be a cheap meal.

I usually don't eat food from White Castle, but this location is really clean and the attention was very good that I gave it a try. I am very please with those fish round things.😊

They have maintained the quality over the years. If you love coasters, this place is for you. But if you love burgers, look elsewhere.

There new burgers are the same as there original sliders but thicker like a real burger paddy. They're really good.

They have the crave that satisfies. These burgers taste great. Not much to them anymore, but they they still have that taste.

Every now and then I get a taste for white castle. I love their chicken rings with cheese sandwiches. And their cheeseburgers I love. Just make sure you have the Pepto for later. Lol

The slowest 'fast good' experience ever. Literally blew my mind. These people do not care about their business or their customers clearly. They ignored me, basically. And then my 2 burgers took 25 minutes. 2 burgers.
