Just had an excellent lunch at Bodira with my wife. First time having a meal here. The veal sandwich was very delicious. My wife had the chicken sandwich which was great as well. We also had gelato for dessert. The server was very friendly and interested in our satisfaction. Not sure if it was the owner but overall an great experience.

I have been wanting to get here for a while and it did not disappoint. The veal sandwich was fantastic. The sauce was very flavourful and the peppers were sweet. Well be back to try the pasta.

Unassuming stop for homemade Italian food. The cannolis are everything everyone says they are, and the owners are friendly - 10/10! I only give it 4 stars as there wasn't much on display/on the menu sign (but if you ask they'll likely have what you're looking for!) because its a makeshift convenience store too.

The canolis here are very tasty! I tried the ricotta canolis - the filling is very creamy and smooth with the right amount of sweetness. The pastry is crunchy and fresh. I ordered 10 canolis which came to about $23 (including tax). They also have pizza dough for about $3 (including tax). The pizza dough is also very fresh. When baked, it is more crusty/crunchy when following the dough instructions but, I'm sure that can be altered depending on how long you bake it for.

If your looking for authentic Italian cuisine in the Markham area, this is the place to visit! The owner Ann and her husband were both delightful and gracious individuals. I had informed the couple that I was in search of an authentic Italian cold cut sandwich reminiscent of those found in Italian delis. Ann immediately suggested the “leave it to us” as she crafted a beautiful sandwich using all fresh ingredients. Shortly after, she had recommended their popular Arancini balls (rice balls). The Arancini balls are a staple of Sicilian cuisine and are stuffed, coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried. The Arancini was filled with ragù (meat or mince, slow-cooked at low temperature with tomato sauce and spices), mozzarella cheese, and peas. A great authentic establishment that has a lot to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit!

A small shop that sells packaged goods and cooked food. Had a pesto pasta, veal sandwich and arincini. The food was good, but veal sandwich really stood out. Lots of toppings - would get again for sure.

Stopped in here for a coffee with a friend and ended up chatting with the owner. She is so sweet and so helpful!! They have the BEST gelato that I've ever had, and their cannoli is unbelievable!! I ended up buying like $100 worth of food to bring home, and the arincini is one of the best things I've eaten!! I highly recommend stopping in here. You won't be disappointed.

Quality is second to none, atmosphere is similar to a cafe in Italy but it’s the service that you will remember. We found this spot by chance and will definitely return soon. Incredible value.

The first thing that struck me upon entering Bodira was the genuine friendliness of the owners. Their passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere really shines through. The homemade pistachio gelato was very good! The fact that they use reduced sugar without compromising on taste is truly impressive. Aside from the gelato, we also heard from a customer ahead of us about the amazing sandwiches.

We found this place through Google, it turned out to be a great find! Aside from coffee, their famous cannoli and other Italian desserts and gelato, they offer homemade meals and have a little grocery of Italian food items on one wall. Even if affogato wasn’t on the menu, the owners overheard my conversation with a friend and immediately offered to make us one with their homemade gelato Torrone. There are a few bistro tables available for anyone who would like to dine in. The owners were very warm, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a piece of Italian comfort food!

The veal sandwich was fantastic. It really lived up to the reviews. The bun was fresh and delicious, the seasonings were well proportioned, the veal was well seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Bodira cafe is your one stop place for great Italian food. I came here with my husband and we got there homemade ravioli and sauce along with there arancini and words can’t describe how delicious and fresh everything was. Nothing beats homemade food. They really put love into what they make. We’re so happy we decided to get 2 packs of ravioli instead of 1. Will definitely be coming back for more stuff…thank you ❤️

This was our first visit, the atmosphere was very friendly, family owned. We had the veal and chicken parmesan sandwiches and they were excellent. It was a large sandwich but it didn't make you feel heavy as the food is so clean. You can tell its honest home cooked food. They also roast their own coffee. I was impressed about the food you can purchase to take home to make a mid week meal easy to heat up, knowing its cooked fresh. I lost my phone so no pictures. I'll take my own next time.

Local family owned Cafe that specialized and serves Italian foods from deli and veal sandwiches to homemade tiramisu and canoli! I've been here a few times and a great local find in Markham. Definitely my go to place since it's much closer and they have indoor seating available for patrons. They also sell imported Italian food (pasta, sauces, coffee beans, etc.) Would highly recommend their in house desserts and coffees/ espressos, etc. that are reasonably priced and hey its LOCAL! As for hot foods I'll definitely need to try this the next time. Try their canoli and tiramisu!!!!!!

Not only is the food amazing and delicious but the owners are the sweetest most hardworking people you will ever meet. Love supporting small businesses. The portions were so ridiculously huge we had a feast and tons of leftovers.

We have been looking for great Italian food in the area for awhile. Finally we found it!! Great food, great services. Lasagna gives an authentic homemade feel/taste. The veal sandwich and chicken parmigiana are so delicious, portions are very generous. The tiramisu is to die for. Must try everything on the menu, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time at Bodira Cafe and it was such a pleasant experience. The owner was such a kind hearted individual and the food was AMAZING! We have the penne pasta with rosé sauce and vegetables, arancini and the chicken parm sandwhich. The portion sizes were HUGE! The pasta had some of the best sauce I have ever had in it. While the cannolis were sold out, the owner was kind enough to make four more for us (fresh).

Awesome foods and hospitality. Went there with friends and tried their Penne with Rose Sauce, Veal on a bun, Rice Ball, freshly backed croissant with coffee. The quantity and quality of the foods were excellent. Also, noted, all meats are halal. A nice place worth to visit.

The food here is amazing - had their tiramisu - its light and flavorful. They make everything in house. We had their sandwich - they've got this great sauce and everything here is so fresh. Their cannolis are so so good. Would recommend having the tiramisu with a cappuccino. The customer service is so great their team is so personable and helpful - takes time to explain how things are made. Loved spending time here

You can't go wrong with the Parmigiana. The bun was tasty and the toppings were generously loaded. I just loved it!! Don't forget to grab the Cannolis, they are the best here.

We ordered a tray of the veal cutlets complete with grilled pepper, mushrooms and onions with baguette to take to the home of a grieving family on the loss of their mother. It brought so much happiness to see their faces light up with a smile while they enjoyed the veal. According to the family it was like homemade some of the best veal parmigiana they’ve tasted. Thank you to Anne and crew for putting tray together on short notice. Would highly recommend this order. God Bless

A lovely little Italian shop with a very friendly owner (Sebastian) behind the counter. It was a sweltering day and I went to their shop for some gelato. I had a mix of the torrone nougat and pistachio flavour (a must try!) The owner gave me an extra big scoop and was very friendly as I was asking about the traditional Italian cookies they had in store. I went late during the day and they sold out of their pastries, so I recommend going early if you want to try them! I'll be back to try the cannolis and sandwiches!

The food at Bodira Cafe is delicious! It’s all homemade and so very fresh. It’s the best eggplant parmigiana and rice balls I have ever had. So happy to have such a great place to stop at for some tasty food. Not to mention, the owners Sebastiano and Ann are the most lovely people.
