A place made famous in our Polish travel blogs, so we decided to visit it. You can see that it is known to the wide public because the queue was quite long. The staff collects orders by approaching you earlier, when you are standing in the queue. Thanks to this, the entire ordering process is improved because you can choose a meal and pay faster, and you can only pick up your dish at the counter. As for the opinions about the dish itself. We decided on 4 different versions. Classic falafel, beef balls, chicken steak and spicy beef sausages. Dishes prepared from fresh ingredients. As for the taste, it was good, although personally I do not know what everyone is so delighted with. It is not an explosion of flavors. The sauces could be more expressive. For example, spicy sauce and sausages in my opinion were not spicy. In general, the place is worth visiting as a curiosity, but don't expect an explosion of flavors.

Very popular falafel place in Paris. There is a long line, but it moves very fast due to the large capacity in store and staff’s management skills. Food is awesome and the vibe is legit. Highly recommended!

This restaurant should have good taste because there was always a queue in front of the restaurant , even though it was neither lunch nor dinner time. Personally this was the first time that I ate farallel. I simply did not like it. The atmosphere is like the one of a first food restaurant. The staff were nice. All the food looked very healthy. I did not eat all the dishes up so I took them away. The portions of plats are quite big for me. All the guests around me seemed to eat pita pains or sandwiches.

A modest falafel eatery situated in the heart of the Jewish quarter. The service was prompt and amicable, with no wait for a table on our rainy Monday visit. We tried the cauliflower (13€ for a few pieces!), a falafel plate (19€), and a chicken liver pita sandwich (16€). Comparing prices to our recent experience at Miznon, this spot leans toward the pricier side. The food, while flavorful, didn't quite reach an exceptional level. The small-type falafels were more crunchy than crispy. The industrial pitas lacked fluffiness and were somewhat tasteless and dry. Considering these factors, a return visit seems unlikely.

Good falafel in the center of Paris! The sandwiches are plentiful, we ate them without a side dish and were very satisfied. As there was a queue, we took it to take away, the queue for this option moved very quickly!

Really great place to eat, they have vegan and vegetarian options, I tried the shatshuka and it was delicious. Are it with the pita bread. Super yummy! Great experience!! there are a lot of people In line but it moves fast, it looks like a nice club, everybody wants to enter. We’ll definitely come back. Recommended

After so much hype around the falafel sandwiches of Felafel, I decided to pay a visit to this restaurant to see if it was really worth the hype, and I have to say - I'm more than impressed. After all, it is considered by many to be quite possible the best tasting falafel in Paris. It's quite hard to miss it on the quaint little street, with, of course, its massive lineups which are clearly visible. I tried Veggie sandwich that has falafel, tomato, cabbage, cucumber, roasted eggplant, tahini sauce and a little bit of spice. What an impeccable taste! I must say that the pita bread was the most delicious I have ever tasted. Small tip; arrive early to avoid long queues and eat in to avoid mess. Overall, the place is outstanding and worth every penny. The service was quite good. The food was exceptionally excellent. I do recommend it and try the fries too!

I have heard many great things. We went for lunch and were seated right away. The food was incredible. We had the Israeli plate and shawarma. I would say it’s 9.4. Honestly one of the best hummuses I’ve ever eaten. The service isn’t the friendliest since it’s so busy. But honestly it was amazing!

Would highly recommend this place!! One of the best falafels I’ve ever had. Amazing touch to add eggplant inside. The hot sauce was perfect. Everything was so well distributed inside the pita. Great portion. Sauces were amazing. Very tasty. 10/10!

I’m not expert enough to comment on falafels, which tasted great to me. However, the rest of the falafel sandwich and lamb shawarma were terrific. You need to put the red sauce on yours! Also, heads up that you can skip the line by dining in, but the prices are 3-4€ higher than the board outside

Good, fast service. The restaurant can be a bit cleaner, but you can always take away. The pita falafel was okay. Not great in taste but fresh good food. Good, hot and crispy fries.

Don’t be fooled by the line as it moves quickly - someone takes your order and hands you a ticket and they will prepare it freshly for you when you get to the counter. Portion is huge, crispy and delicious. Skip eating in and walk to a nearby park to enjoy your messy meal.

I did not expect one of my best and most memorable eats in Paris to be from this humble Middle Eastern food store. The Fallafel balls which we have gotten were so crispy and yet, delicious - perfect for the cold night!! The grilled chicken pita we had was also filled to the brim with various veggies and tender chicken meat, and it made for such a hearty and delicious dinner. I wished we had a longer time in Paris so that my husband and I could visit this store more often, but should any of my friends ask for recommendations in Paris, I will definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I loved this place so much that I had to go back for more. The falafel was on point and I didn’t want to miss out in trying the chicken option. I’m glad I went back for more. There are more options that I want to try like their stuffed eggplant. I’m getting hungry again. You can either get your sandwich to go or eat inside. There aren’t that many places around there to sit down if you take it to go. I suggest you wait a bit and try to get a table inside. You can try a plate which is almost impossible to eat on the go. Def a place you need to try while in Paris.

It is the best falafel sandwich i’ve had in a very long time. They did not skimp on any of the ingredients! I did appreciate a lot the fact that they layer the sandwich so that you get everything in every bite. Even at the bottom you get falafel and not only bread and veggies :)

Absolutely genius falafel sandwich here, a must-try if you're nearby. The patties taste so much like meat, it's hard to believe you're eating a vegan/vegetarian (the only difference is the sauce) sandwich. The takeaway line moves promptly, but to sit down inside in the evening, you might have to wait a bit. Either is well worth it. €8.50 for a sandwich might look a tad high, but the portion is enormous, you'll get your money's worth in not just taste.

Another day, another queue 😂 Best falafel in Paris, you don’t need to try some other sandwiches. The waiting time in the queue was less than hour. Really worth the wait. There is a guy comes to the queue and takes orders from costumers and hands them a tag of there order. When you reach to the window l, you give them your ticket, and with less than a minute you will enjoy one of the best falafel you’ll ever have. This restaurant should be in a bucket list 👍🏼

This place is no joke!! The felafel is the best I've ever had. We didn't have anything else but it all looks delicious! Get there at opening otherwise you may wait for 30-60 minutes. Why they didn't get 4-stars: The line is ridiculous and the service is slow. There are two lines, one for inside on for take away but there are no signs to inform you. They need to figure out a better system and move through the crowd faster so you don't have to wait an hour.

Very tasty and satisfying falafel size! The staff polite and helpful. Very tasty falafel definitely one of the best in Paris and one of the best options for street food in the city.

Waited in line for about 20 min to sit- great vibey place - no frills. The falafel was delicious as was the lemonade with mint! Under 20 euros.

Last year, after eating lunch, I stumbled onto this place. The line was huge, and I wanted to try it so bad, but I was too full. Luckily, one year later, my taste was fulfilled. And the taste did not disappoint! I went with a base Fallafel pita sandwich. What makes it stand out? Eggplant! Cooked and seasoned but cold. The "sauce" is tahini based, giving it a bold flavor right out of the gates. Stuffed with so much goodness, including fallafel, that are fresh and green! I ate out front while my wife shopped. Dozens of customers passed thru the line in the time it took me to devour my sandwich. The surrounding fallafel places had yet to sell a single sandwich. This is the place for sure!

There are two queues at this restaurant, to the left is takeaway and on the right is for eating in. If you wanted to eat in, expect to wait and be mindful there is a cut off time where they stop customers from queueing to eat in. The queue for takeaway was fast where there was a staff member that would take orders in the queue and you could pay whilst being in the queue. You could see the staff cooking fresh falafels and they were seasoned well. I would have preferred a bigger selection of dips available.

Located in one of my favourite areas in Paris, l'As du Fallafel has been around for ages. They do not have tables, you will have to grab your sandwich and eat it on the go, or find a park nearby to sit (I personally sat at Place des Vosges). I waited about 45 minutes in line in order to get my sandwich. One of the employees will get your order, give you a paper and make you pay, but you might have to wait another 30 minutes before you actually get your food. Despite the long wait, I have to say this was one of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever had in my entire life. The falafel balls were crispy, the sauce is delightful and they add some eggplant in the sandwich which makes it even better. I cannot wait to go back to Paris and try different things on their menu. This place is a must try!

Really great falafel. I thought the flavor was just a tiny bit lacking - maybe it would've been perfect had they layered the delicious red sauce throughout instead of just a little bit on top. Overall it was worth waiting on line for, and I even enjoyed the eggplant even though I don't like eggplant.

A lot of people state that this is the best falafel in Paris or even in the world. I highly disagree with this, since I definitely had better falafel. It's not that it is not good. It is definitely worth trying, but do NOT go there with such high expectations... Also the service was very mediocre; some staff ignore you indefinitely.

Best falafel sandwich ever!! Wish we could give 10 stars, everything is perfect. This was our favourite restaurant on our trip to Paris, we ended up eating there three times in 2 days.

I had the mixed cocktail of meats (parguit which is nothing but the young chicken, turkey, chicken liver and lamb)pitas sandwich which cost 16euros(dine-in) (as of October 2023) and the turkey and lamb shawarma which my friends had was also good... We felt it was worth the money. And try to dine in which could save your time as you could avoid the big queue for the take away!

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for fresh flavorful falafel! It’s a small cute place which was extremely crowded. The decor was decent and service was quick. Their mint lemonade and fresh juices were amazing. The portion are large and can be shared. Food was delicious and the falafel wrap was a balanced meal with lots of vegetables in it.

So good!!! At marais, saw others eating something similar and when we saw the queue, the singaporean in me jus had to get 1 too. We ordered the lamb and chicken and it was so good, from the sauce to the meat to the bread - its a must try i would say. Would definitely want to to back again

I ate here once so maybe I didn't experience this place the right way. The big crowd probably says that people love this restaurant. I didn't like it. The prices and the atmosphere are ok, but the food was simply not good for me. I ate falafel for the first time in my life, and I didn't like it either. I will probably try it again next time, as I believe they deserve a second chance.

Amazing Falafel pita! Worth standing in line to get inside and try them out. Fries were good as well but better if you can share them with someone.

I can be a vegetarian if this restaurant nearby me. The pita bread fallafel special was so delicious. And the aubergine was melt in my mouth and I wish I can order the grilled aubergine dish but as a lone traveller, this is the disadvantage when visiting a restaurant which serve awesome food! Highly recommended!

  • 5/5 Arkadiusz J. 7 months ago on Google
They serve very tasty pitas for take away. I tried the one with lamb and turkey, and it was great, the pita stuffed all the way down to the bottom with meat. You can spice up your pitas or choose the standard version. The service is quick, so even when the line is long, it doesn’t take much time to get your order.

Best pita bread eevveeerrr. Line was ridiculously long but def worth the wait. They took our order while waiting in line to safe time. Good price and simply delicious.

The falafels and sauces are good. Sandwich was good value for money but bit messy to eat! There are long queues outside for both - dine in and take away. Overall, worth a try!

My wife and I ate here twice while visiting Paris. We’re both vegetarian, and this place has many great vegetarian options. The service was quick and food was delicious!
