I stayed for a week. My room was for one person, but it was very narrow, there was nowhere to move, to put things. There was no shampoo, no body gel in the bathroom, no napkins in the room. In general the hotel was dirty, the breakfast was the same, the same food was served every day. In my opinion, the price and service did not match.

They’re in the middle of doing major renovations to their roof, so we just got woken up by HAMMERING on a SATURDAY. You can’t charge people for a place to sleep when you’re in the middle of construction that makes it impossible to sleep!!!

I wish I could review zero stars This place is horrific! Nothing short of a disaster, I’d even go as far as saying it’s not safe to stay in, you would 100% leave with an illness Based on what they advertise as the hotel rooms it is very much false images I can’t imagine the hotel ever looked like it does in the photos provided on bookings platforms It was so bad I couldn’t even spend one night here, I checked in and checked out straight away after finding another hotel Avoid at all costs Do not book this hotel, you will forever regret your decisions The mattress didn’t event fit the bed The bathroom, well you couldn’t even sit straight on the toilet The shower was barely big enough for a child The rooms were suppose to be “renovated” wow is all I can say I would have hated to see what it was like before the renovation that’s for sure 1000% do not stay here Grim, unhygienic, unapologetic, below scraping the barrel

To tight room for 4 people so was the bathroom. One of my bed sheets was satined, the other was torn. Left us blanket when it were 30•C even at night and there was no AC in the room, we had to sleep with the window open all night, the area was noisy throughout the whole night.

The worst hostel totally not worth it. broken curtain, broken floor in the room which cause worry about the rat coming out. Unbelievably small room and small toilet compared to its price. Noise was not controllable as well at night. Even bed mattress was so old, needs replacement which cause backpain. feel like staying in the small garage. Location was quite far from the main city. Only one man on the reception was kind and others are totally not supportive even never say hello to the guest. was terrible stay here.

Avoid this hotel! Receptionist were constantly on the phone - I waited twice for 30 minutes to ask 1 question. Rooms were tiny, hot and poor quality. Shower leaked, toliet seat was broken, I spoke to the receptionist, they said they would have a look. We came back, told it has been sorted, went to our room, nothing had changed. You could barely stand in the bathroom. The nearest metro stop is 15 minute walk away (Metro 12). They stored our luggage, printed some tickets and breakfast was ok, hence 2 stars but would avoid if possible.

Very small room, bathroom/toilet too small (nearly not usable). Very old room with with mold in the bathroom. Very loud inside, walls between the room are very thin, so you can hear all what the next room is talking about. Breakfast ok, but better ones next to the hotel. Location is very good. You can explore Paris by walk and/or by UBER. TV was not working

The room is quite small, and there was mold everywhere on the wall in the bathroom. When we checked in, the toiletries were not provided. They only provided before the day we checked out. The drain of the sink was also blocked when we checked in. The heater was also not warm enough during winter.

Awful night with drunk people having a party in an Airbnb around. Nobody to say anything, they stopped around 4 am. A very not clean place. I didn't took a shower, the bathroom was so dirty. Toilet papers everywhere in the toilet, towels on the floor, no soap or anything to wash the hand. Especially during the covid period. The place was not sound proof. My bedroom neighbour put her stuff in my bed. Like the wet towel for example. Last, it should have been a bunkbed but It wasn't. So you cannot charge your phone or anything. For the same price in Paris, I had better accommodations.

Lack of hygiene, mold in the bathroom and on the towel. Basic hotel shouldn't rime with lack of hygiene and cleaniness. Worst nights of my life. Even the kitchen/dining room isn't very clean.

Very rude receptionist with whom I interacted yesterday at midday Sun April 2nd. No sensé of hospitality. Hé was passive agressive. I will.never get back to this place. This Guy made me feel I was à burden, not à guest while I was kinder than kind. Le monde a l'envers !

A small hotel, cute on the outside. Inside it is fairly simple and it met our expectations and offered everything we needed for our 2 night stay in a private room. However, the room has a strange smell, I first thought it was because it was freshly painted but not sure that that was the case. It is not too bad and you get used to it quickly but you notice it anytime you enter. 8 mins from a metro stop but there is a scooter parking right in front of the hotel.

The rooms are incredibly cramped. The elevator is so small that a coffin might be more comfortable. The shower is even smaller. In fact, there is so little leg room in the bathroom that sitting on the toilet will force you to hug the sink. But the lighting is good enough that it’s not creepy, so I can’t give it the “coffin” descriptor. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable living experience, but it’s definitely cheap and relatively well located for its price.

Clean enough rooms but with no character. Bathrooms are small but functional. Main issue is the lack of sound insulation. Difficult to sleep with lots of noise and then kitchen staff play loud music as the wake-up call at 7am. Would not recommend for more than a night.

It is an average hotel ,not the best not the worst,we stayed only for one night. Rooms are small and the toilet not very comfort... I put 4 stars for the location and the staff.

Very small and cold room, the toilet/bathroom was very impractical and less than 1m2. Though the service and location was good

Highly unprofessional, unfriendly and racial attitude. The staff are not well trained nor cordial. Forget hospitality, I think I would give a 4 star about hostility.

The ceiling was leaking all night in the first floor which is weird, the room was so dirty, I don't think the room service was ever there. there was no soap, the towels were dirty and stained, I do not recommend it at all. The lady at the reception was nice though!

We were in the two bunk beds room. Small but clean. The area is pretty quite at the night. Worth for money!

The place is covered in scaffolding and has building work going on all day every day, making it impossible to sleep. No signage indicating when the work will be finished either.

THIS SITE IS A SCAM. It doesn't look anything like the photos they have posted. There are bugs in the beds, the attention of the staff is disastrous and the people you come across in the corridors are scary. It looks more like a shady brothel than a hotel. ATTENTION DO NOT GO WITH CHILDREN!!!

Nice budget hotel, clean and quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. Close to a supermarket and pharmacy and the metro is a 10 minute walk.

We stayed here for 2 days after returning from Mont St Michel. The hostel became a sidenote on our day of return because we were on a mission to see the Louvre and we reached Paris at 1100 or 1130. The first time it registered for me was when I was ready, downstairs and taking in the lobby area. I found beautifully painstaking directions to many of Paris' legendary spots including the Louvre. We'd initially planned to take the subway (my fondness for rail over road) but it turned out that a bus from a nearby bus stop would halve the time. That tip probably gave us another half hour at the very least at the Louvre for we finished that night at the museum's closing time! Everyone mentions the receptionist and it is no different with me. While we had no requests that needed accommodating to, the impact a cheerful disposition and some warmth that reception folks can show is incalculable. Arty also had a good breakfast which we had only on one 1 day. Nevertheless we didn't have to break for a good lunch because of how filling the breakfast was. The dorm rooms, bathrooms are nice enough and overall, Arty should guarantee a good time while in Paris.

Cheap for Paris but still expensive. Our room was cramped, especially the shower room/toilet. Daughter swore she saw a mouse on the stairs. Kind and helpful staff. Great park for kids three minutes down the road.

We checked into the hotel on September 19th and we were met by an uncleaned room, the owner blatantly claimed that is hadn't been cleaned yet because they were fully booked last week, but he only informed us about this after we came back to complain, meaning he doesn't know what's going on in his business. The room we were met by had curtains on the floor, and towels were thrown inside the toilet. The toilet is unusable unless you want to sit with the door open or with one foot in the bath tub. I would strongly advice anyone considering visiting Paris to look for other alternatives because the hygiene is not up to par and I would go as far as to say this is the worst hotel(if you can even call it that) I've ever stayed in and I hope to dear god that it will remain that way.

Great place, very respectful people... Peaceful neighborhood with supermarkets and parks less than 3 minutes away. The gentleman who cares the lobby is a very nice man. He has been very kind and welcoming to me during my 4 day stay alone. I have felt very safe and comfortable in this property... especially during COVID times. I will be coming back whenever I find myself working in Paris again.

The staff are very friendly, particularly as I could not speak French. The breakfast included during my stay was enough for me to start my day and included a coffee machine (and tea), bread, cheese, pastries, fruit purées, and yogurt (these items come prepacked). The elevator, while very small, could accommodate me and my luggage without any problem. I stayed in a two-bunkbed room. The room had standard-sized lockers, the locker size could accommodate a check-in bag at a push. There were additional smaller lockers in the room too. I brought along a lock that I could use with the lockers. I especially appreciated the combination lockers on the ground floor, which were under surveillance and around the corner from the check-in desk (these lockers could easily accommodate a laptop bag). My bags and luggage were safe during my stay. The bed had two flat sheets, a blanket, and a pillow (with a pillowcase). The room was cleaned once while I was staying there; from previous reviews criticizing cleanliness, I would argue that this is dependent on the guests sharing the room. This accommodation is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and public transport. The price was good considering I was able to attend my conference and sightsee Paris easily. Having read the reviews, there was a mixed bag, which made me a tad nervous, however, I thought overall that this was a great place to stay on a budget. I stayed at the accommodation in September, the humidity in Paris was high, which meant I preferred sleeping with the windows to the room open as there was no air conditioning (at the price that this room was offered at I had no complaints that there was no air conditioning). Sleeping with the windows open and being based on the second floor, the nights could get quite noisy before midnight, plus guests sharing the room would arrive at different times during the night (not a mark against the accommodation, but the reality of sharing a room). The bed was a tad uncomfortable. The room was marketed as a two-bunkbed room (sleeping four); however, there was an adjoining room with two beds, so in total, the room slept 6. The room had two extremely small bathrooms, one with a toilet and sink and the other with a toilet, sink, and shower. Something that was highly irritating was that the one toilet seat and lid could not rest open, making it redundant unless you were prepared to hold it or lean on it to keep it open. The pop-up stopper was missing from the sink. The shower door was missing half the door, which meant that if you weren't careful, water would splash onto the floor of the bathroom (the accommodation did provide a bathmat which alleviated this). The silicone waterproofing around the shower base could be replaced as this has fouled and does not look particularly welcoming (I brought flip-flop sandals to shower in). Alternatively, the cleaners could apply some bleach to remove the fouling. The photos of the accommodation could be updated to be more realistic (that said, the hotel is undergoing a gradual renovation).

Very disappointed. We arrived in Paris very excited to explore the city but to our disappointment our room was not the one we booked. They told us the room that we paid for is not available, took so much time to actually find something and we ended up having to stay in an old, kinda dirty room. Next day apparently the room wasn’t available for two nights in a row so we had to move AGAIN. Unbelievably irritating and very frustrating cause it took so much of our already so little time . I wouldn’t try this place again.

Room was quite cold. Locker wasn't working, I had to keep my luggage in open. When complaint about the locker, the guy at the reception didn't do anything. Washroom was also quite cold.

Friendly staffs and the area is very safe for female solo travelers. I walked from Montparnasse Tower to hotel around 11pm. Yes, it was quite late but I badly needed that and I was perfectly alright. You can hire cycle or travel by bus to the site seeing places which will take 20-30 mins depending on the traffic. Family restaurants are very close by. Few things could have been better- bathroom door was broken, and it was not very clean.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL! The location is far away and very unsafe at night - walking back from Montparnasse my friend and I were harassed by men on the street and even followed for a bit. As for the hotel itself, it offers staff who speak many languages but in reality most staff only speak French, who do their best but really struggle to communicate. I speak French fortunately but even for me the girl at the desk spoke very quickly so I found her hard to understand. The women who work there are at least polite and try to help you - the manager who speaks better English is incredibly rude. I travelled with a friend and we both used booking.com - on her booking it said City Tax was included in her payment, which is unusual, so we tried to clarify the issue with the manager, but as I said he was very impolite and harsh with my friend, who was not at all at fault - just showing him what Booking.com said. A very unpleasant and unhelpful man. The room itself is bare and disgusting - I was in a 6 bed female dorm and only 2 filthy sheets, a pillow and a blanked covered in previous guests' hair was provided. In the ensuite is a dirty shower curtain, loo roll, and a bath mat (for the floor). Not even hand soap or a way to dry your hands. We ended up purchasing hand soap and shower gel to share with the other girls because it felt very unsanitary. The shower is pretty low, so okay for short girls, but if you are above average, expect to stoop! The beds are incredibly creaky. I found it comfortable enough but my friend could not sleep the first night - any time any girl in the room moves even a little bit, the bed groans like it has been shot. The curtains are okay if you also close the external shutters, but still let in some light - so it's not ideal for light sleepers all round. Furthermore, we were on floor 5. There is a lift but it is terrifying - about 100x60 cm - big enough for my slim, short friend and I but only just - not suitable for most people over 170cm, or people with a larger suitcase. I chose to take the stairs every time because it felt very unsafe. Every time, I reached the floor before my friend because the lift is so slow. You can pay for breakfast but it is very poor - you can get better pastries at any local intermarché/franprix etc. I met some nice women and would say the wifi is adequate. Everything else is terrible. I would not stay in such a place again.

Beware! If you want to enjoy your experience in Paris, run from this hotel. I arrived on Friday evening around 8pm and was out of there within 15 minutes. The actual room looked like a jail cell (maybe worse). I could hear doors slamming in the hallway and every word of conversation in the next room. The bathroom looked like a horror movie. I would have rather slept in the street than in that room. I decided to leave, gave the key back and paid for another hotel last minute. When I requested a cancellation refund (through Booking.com), it was promptly denied even though I was only there for a few minutes. The hotel is also 2+ miles from the Eiffel Tower so factor that into your plans. I took a video but can’t seem to attach to this review.

The owner was so kind and personable. We were always warmly greeted when coming and going from the hostel. He helped us with any questions we had, and it is quite clear that excellent hospitality is his specialty. Thank you!!

My worst hotel experience ever. The room does not correspond to the photo, there were 2 long hairs on the bed right in the center. It is not possible to open the window because the facade is being repaired. The women from the kitchen don't speak English or French. When I asked about the microwave, she rolled her eyes and passed by. At the reception guy told that it isn't the employees, but a separate company that provides hotel services. So do something about it, change the company, because we will definitely never come back here and we don't advise this hotel to you.
