Cafe Coffee shop

😐 I liked the atmosphere of the coffee shop but I think the hot chocolate and apple pie were a little bit overpriced for what you get. It’s pretty average in my opinion. But the staff was so friendly and they were interacting with their customers which was pretty nice to see! People often mention coffee, chocolate, nice,

Great small coffee bar 'with a story'. It is a place where vulnerable women work and create their own place in society. Social innovation in practice. Well done.

Just passing by for a dirty chai latte and a really nice comforting hot chocolate. We didn't stay there, but it seems like a very welcoming chill atmosphere.

I love Koffieklap because the menu is tasty and more importantly, I know my money is supporting a great cause. The place is run entirely by volunteers and trainee women who have recently left difficult situations.

This place in this cute street really took me by surprise ! The friendly surrounding by the staff was welcoming at the very first second and the cosy atmosphere completed the scene. I ordered a iced latte and a bagel with brie, apple, honey and walnuts, it truly was tasty and definitely coming back again!

We were on the hunt for hot chocolate when we stumbled upon this place - and it did not disappoint! The cake, the soup, the chocolate and the prices - amazing!

Excellent latte with a touch of speculoos, exquisite chicken and guacamole bagel 😋 but above all a calm and cosy environment and service with style and smile! 🙏🙏

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, horrendous flat white. I couldn't finish it. Maybe I was just unlucky because the photos looked promising. Either way, this one shouldn't have been served at all after it was obviously botched.

A quiet and pleasant place, perfect for a tea or coffee with flavors of the world. A clean and peaceful environment, to talk with friends or just to comfortably read a book.

Quiet, cozy and comfortable and I love the idea behind it. It's a project helping hurt women reintegrate in society. Giving them a chance to learn a job. And besides that it's still really good drinks and place.

Very nice place with good coffee and many options to choose from. Being a non-profit, they had a lot of staff and none of them was maybe as fast or professional as one would expect from a commercial place, but I went with kids and even they liked it a lot!

Awesome and cosy coffee bar where all volunteers have their hearts in the right place. Feels so good to have a coffee and support the work they are doing for the women in Antwerp.

Wonderful coffee, all the drinks looked so good it was hard to choose! My husband said his white mocha was better than Starbucks! The best part is the wonderful cause they support.

We are regular customers at Koffieklap, and love it every time for so many reasons: 1) it's a completely volunteer-run non-profit, providing training to women who've come out of difficult situations (human trafficking, ...), 2) great coffee and cakes!! 3) best music playlists, 4) it's never overcrowded (unlike other popular cafes in the area)!

Not sure if the volunteer idea is still there. We didn't see/read anything about that in any case. As a tea sommelier I was pleasantly surprised they have a tea menu. It was kinda weird that you have to ask for it, since it's just a laminated paper with perhaps 10 teas tops. Anyway, what actually bothered me is the choice of teas: either flavored blends/infusions, 1 Japanese green tea (in winter?) or 1 Indian black tea. Those are all very specific tastes and I didn't really get why they chose these. In the end I went for a hot chocolate milk, which was just heated Cécémel. I mean, some milk and some (Belgian) chocolate pellets are a lot more appealing. And we might've caught the person working there on a bad day, but I didn't really feel like they were very enthusiastic to be there. So yeah, from the outside it looked nice and I hoped for a small hidden gem, but didn't get that on that day, sadly. I hope it was just a bad moment.

👍 Great atmosphere. Unique decoration. Lots of variety in drinks - I ordered Miss T Luice beer which they didn’t have, so I ordered another one, of course not a big problem.- We went there around 6 pm. The live jazz music was really amazing but too short - like 30 minutes from when we sat- which I wis...
