The topics are diverse and sometimes surprising. There is not only information about minerals, blue dyes for textiles or blue flowers, but also about witches, porcelain, alcohol, demons, angels, monsters and the ocean - to name a random selection. And Smurfs! Individually in different corners and collected in dioramas - and children like to be given the task of counting them all. There is so much to discover that we didn't even make it all the way through during our visit. There is a free guided tour on Saturdays, which is highly recommended.

Today we were spontaneous (on the way to the castle garden) and therefore unfortunately only in the Museum Blau for far too short a time. It's simply wonderful how meticulously and yet playfully the color blue is paid homage to. The lady at the ticket office promised us when we entered that we would leave the museum with a smile on our face. And she was right! We'll definitely come back again - and we'll definitely take a lot more time! Promised.
