All blue? Not quite, but the visit was quite pleasant, you could look at a hodgepodge of various blue objects. It is a house with various rooms to determine themes. It's not all that spectacular as it looks a bit messy. 5* for the idea and creativity.

(Translated by Google) It's finally open again! After the Corona shutdown, the MUSEUM BLAU in Schwetzingen reopened on March 10, 2020. Lots of new blue objects and a really impressive chandelier...made of PET bottles. Great, I want one too! Opening times again on Saturdays and public holidays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The visit is worth it!

Highly recommended! The tour was very interesting. We saw a lot, learned a lot and laughed often. A visit is really worth it. At first you can't really imagine what to expect, but then you're quickly drawn under the spell and enriched by the lovingly designed details in the individual themed rooms. We were thrilled and would love to come back

(Translated by Google) This small museum is a wonderfully collected collection of blue objects and paintings, to which the blue color makes it even more magical. A real recharge and experience. A very special museum that was designed with a lot of commitment, heart, intellect and wit. Absolutely recommended, even with children. We liked the jukebox...

Wonderful little museum about the color blue. Very lovingly designed with an eye for interesting and sometimes strange details, full of exciting information. The topics are diverse and sometimes surprising. There is not only information about minerals, blue dyes for textiles or blue flowers, but also about witches, porcelain, alcohol, demons, angels, monsters and the ocean - to name a random selection. And Smurfs! Individually in different corners and collected in dioramas - and children like to be given the task of counting them all. There is so much to discover that we didn't even make it all the way through during our visit. There is a free guided tour on Saturdays, which is highly recommended.

Today we were spontaneous (on the way to the castle garden) and therefore unfortunately only in the Museum Blau for far too short a time. It's simply wonderful how meticulously and yet playfully the color blue is paid homage to. The lady at the ticket office promised us when we entered that we would leave the museum with a smile on our face. And she was right! We'll definitely come back again - and we'll definitely take a lot more time! Promised.

I've probably walked past it many times, but on Sunday my girlfriend and I went in there and we thought it was very funny and well done. Lots of beautiful blue things put together with a lot of love.

👍👍 I think it's a funny idea 👍😊 The castle park writes the following: "At the end of the corridor there is a trompe l'oeil painting - from French: a painted illusion of the eye. It suggests a view of an idyllic river landscape. ... This illusion is achieved through a sophisticated construction. A pav...

👍 The Rococo Theater is well worth seeing even when there is no performance. Tours of the theater are occasionally offered, which you should of course take advantage of by running in the castle park. The theater is still used today. Unfortunately, also for “modern” productions like the Nebuchadnezzar...
