The stay at Hotel Kurpfalzhof was excellent, and it was my first night in Germany! The hotel rooms were nice, organized, clean, and beyond that the Mampel family was very warm and friendly and attentive to our needs. I didn't feel like I was in a hotel, but rather a visitor to their home. I'm very happy to stay there again. You should choose this hotel for your stay!

Great place for long stays. I've stayed there with 2 other people for a few nights, and the stay went smoothly and pleasantly. The apartment was wide and fully equipped, so we could stay in, cook, relax and enjoy the serene view of the yard. It's outside Heidelberg but only a few minutes by car, which was very convenient. All in all a positive experience

Excellent experience. Although this property is about 15 minutes out of Heidelberg , the bus service is very easy and efficient. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. We were able to use bikes provided at no cost to ride around the countryside. Fantastic cooked to order breakfast- highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic for the first night back in Germany since 1990 for me on our trip. This complimented the whole trip for the next 5 nights. The hospitality, and care of the Hotel was by far over my expectations. Our guide for the trip whom I was stationed with had this planned as he had stayed here multiple times before. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was the best for the whole trip actually. I will certainly book rooms here again on my next trip. Prost!

Clean, spacious and no frills rooms, all for a good value. Rooms were gigantic compared to what I'm used to. Breakfast was great, especially the made to order eggs and bacon. The host was really friendly and helpful, it feels more like a b&b than a hotel. The surroundings are all green, so good for biking, but location is not walking distance to downtown Heidelberg, so you need to drive to get there. However, because of the space, it's great for kids to play and run around, and it's something you won't get in city hotels. There's also a strawberry picking area next to the hotel. Definitely worth the stay. My rating reflects what I would expect from a typical B&B place, considering the price. Not intended to be absolute.

A wonderful place to stay! Lovely location and excellent hosts. We stayed for 2 nights in a spacious and spotless apartment, with wonderful views over the countryside. Thanks to our host, it was easy to catch public transport nearby into Heidelberg. Excellent breakfast! We have already recommended this to friends and hope to return ourselves soon.

Apartments & Hotel Kurpfalzhof is the first place we stay over night in Germany. I’m so glad that I made the wise decision. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast is so delicious that made our schedule a little delayed. The host is extremely friendly and hospitality. In the morning, he talk to every table full of energy and passion. Everything in Apartments & Hotel Kurpfalzhof is perfect! The only thing is pity is that we just stay for one night. Next time we come back to Heidelberg, Apartments & Hotel Kurpfalzhof is definitely our first choice!

A great place to stay with a country setting, just outside of Heidelberg. Easy access off and plenty of parking. Very modern, immaculate, comfortable rooms, with a breakfast so good you won't want to leave. You will get outstanding service and feel like family at the Kurpfalzhof. I will always stay at Kurpfalzhof when I visit Heidelberg!

Excellent experience. Very accommodating. Delicious breakfast and tips on where to go and what to see in the local area. Ideal location between Heidelberg and Schwetzingen with easy bus and taxi service to both. Our apartment had a full kitchen and all the amenities. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the Heidelberg area.
