Everything about this place is charming. We went on a wine tastng tour. A woman took three of us around and then we got to sample quite a few bottles. We LOVE their Grillo ... honestly, it's the only one I'll drink. They have some nice reds, too. Such a wonderful experience.

Looking at the reviews and the leaflet at our accommodation I'm sure it's a great place, but we didn't even get in. So sharing this to help avoid similar experiences in the future - wouldn't take much effort. Listed as open from 7:30 on Mondays on Google, so we arrived at that time and found the parking open. No other cars, but hey, we might have been early. Started walking down the path towards the cantine only to see 2 huge dogs roaming free and starting in our direction. Didn't take our chances with 2 kids, made it back to the car and left. We tried calling beforehand various times to book and also after getting back to the car, but the line alternated between no connection and ringing without being answered. So, my recommendation for such a nice looking place: please save people the hassle and update the opening times on Google, it takes 5 minutes. Also, a message on the phone doesn't take much, or a CLOSED sign at parking or on the gate on days you are closed. Still, hope to visit next time we're in the region.

Loved it, been here for a wedding. Everything was great, except the staff, they were not customer oriented.

Is a very beautiful place, classy, elegant and well maintained. I attended a wedding where everything was well equipped with everything a weeding needs (Food and drinks, music & live band, placing tables for guests...etc). Fancy place for any type of celebration 🍾 😉. To reach the destination is not that easy, since the roads are not that well maintained and needs some repairing. Everything else is amazingly nice.

Amazing food and Wine, you need to visit when in Sciacca. Becareful with google maps it sent us down a wrong road but other than that everything else was brilliant. The atmosphere while dining under trees is great. We went for the 50euro tasting menu with wine pairing.

5th Century Winery…. Went for dinner on our last night it was magical!! The drive to the Cantine is so beautiful, lined with Olive Trees and Wine Vines! Get the Arancini starter soooo good!!

We came for dinner here and found the place to be an oasis of sophisticated charm ans great food and wine. Let's gloss over the terrible roads in Sicily which make getting anywhere off the beaten track quite arduous, but that's another story. Once you arrive at the tree lined entrance you know you're in for a treat. We chose the degustation menu with wine pairings, the food: arancini, lobster pasta, sea bass was so lovely and well presented. The best food I've had on this trip. But the dessert was even better! Absolutely amazing.. The wine paring with each course was considered, interesting and generous. The house Magarìa chardonnay was awesome. I had a glass of their Nero Rosso which was so good I bought a bottle home with us. The service was impeccable as was the surroundings. We were so taken with the wines and ambience, to our shame we intended but nwvwr left a tip! :( The whole degustation menu with wine parings was only €50 per head. Incredible value!

We visited De Gregorio which was only a few short kilometres away from where we were staying in Sciacca Sicily in June 2023. Our reason was to enjoy a lovely evening meal and we weren’t disappointed. We were given amuse bouche to begin with which gave us a hint of the quality of food to come. I had the roast beef starter followed by the Sea Bass both which were absolutely delicious. For dessert I enjoyed the Cheesecake which was sublime. We of course had the wine from their own winery which is up to a very high standard and amongst the best I have ever tasted. Prices for the food and the wine are very reasonable with total spend coming to €110 for two people including wine. Excellent value for this quality establishment. The restaurant is in a quiet tranquil location and well signposted from the main road.

This is a beautiful winery and olive oil company that happens to have a farm to market chef on site. They will open 10 more “rooms to stay in” later in 2024. The wine and service is superb, and they have the best tiramisu in Italy.
