Cozy pier & beach. Very clean & great for having a fun time with friends & family. There are public restrooms & showers. Just across the street, you will find plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, pan cakes & coffee shops. One can spend a full day there

Nice spot to relax, watch surfers or go fishing. And then I've never seen a pier with its own police station.

Seal Beach is 106 years this year. I visited this place for the first time in 1988. It was beautiful then and it’s beautiful now. Its right at ocean Avenue and Main Street. Strolling down main st. Someone finds many quality restaurants and cafes. There’s a police 👮 station at the pier. There are restrooms at the beginning of the pier. Expect a good nice walk to get to the end of the pier. The area is fun to visit either for the beautiful beach, the pier,and/or Main Street. Someone will notice oil drilling platforms offshore as well as the cargo ships 🚢 dotting the sea 🌊 awaiting embarkation at Long Beach 🏝 seaport

Awesome place to enjoy what God has made. The power and glory of God is evident in the beautiful sunsets.

Seal beach is known for wide, sandy expanses and several great surf spots make Seal Beach a favorite community among locals, and conditions are ideal for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and building sandcastles. Location: On the coast, approximately 28 miles east of Los Angeles - between the cities of Long Beach and Huntington Beach. This quiet, down-to-earth community is the perfect seaside destination to visit when you need a getaway from LA, San Diego, or larger cities in Orange County. Seal Beach represents that quintessential California “sleepy beach town” with quaint neighborhoods, eclectic shopping, and small-town appeal.

Been visiting this area for years and years, the beach is accessible, (come early for parking), hotels are great and walking distance(Pacific Inn), car shows, shops, restaurants, haircuts, you name it. Seal Beach is a hidden gem in So Cal.

Absolutely stunning. We went to the beach in a weekday afternoon, there weren’t a lot of people, so we can see the beach all the way to the end. Perfect place for walking by the sea. Also the town is beautiful and cozy!

Pier is nice. You get the views of Long Beach and nice views of Seal Beach. Only downfall for me is bathrooms being dirty.

We love this stretch of beach. There isn't as much excitement or infrastructure right on the beach like the bigger beaches but the pier goes out a fair distance and you have a good view of the Long Beach and the Queen Mary.

A Nostalgic Stroll Down Seal Beach Pier Finding a place that's near and dear to my heart, like Seal Beach Pier, is a rare treat. Returning after many years, I was enchanted to discover that the charm and small-town allure I remembered from my childhood remain intact. This pier is a haven for lovers of tranquility and natural beauty. Whether you're a sunset enthusiast or, unlike me, an early riser captivated by sunrises, Seal Beach Pier does not disappoint. The scenic walks along the pier, with the gentle sea breeze, make for a truly unforgettable experience. For those with kids, this spot offers more than just stunning views. There's a fantastic play park set right on the sand, and the beach itself is a natural playground. These amenities make it an ideal destination for a family outing. The town's cozy atmosphere is amplified by the array of quaint shops and delectable restaurants that line the nearby streets. It's a sensory experience that's hard to beat. Adding to the local charm, the pier often hosts various vendors selling beautiful pieces of art and street performers filling the air with music. This eclectic mix of activities gives the area a vibrancy and life that's unique to Seal Beach Pier. So, if it's been a while since your last visit, or if you've never experienced the magic of Seal Beach Pier, I would strongly recommend you rectify that. It's a cherished gem that's maintained its sparkle through the years. Five out of five stars for this beloved locale.

This is a nice pier for fishing local species of fish like mackerel, croaker, perch, bass, rays, and leopard sharks. They have well maintained restrooms under the start of the pier by the parking lots. It's a wooden pier unlike the others in the area from Long Beach down to Huntington Beach. Being wood, it can get slippery early mornings from moisture, so be cautious. While fishing, be careful not to drop small tackle like hooks and beads as there are openings in between the slats of wood. The end of the pier is known for sharks and good size rays. The middle to end of pier is good for mackerel, and the shallows to middle pier is good for perch, croaker, and smaller rays and halibut.

A decent place to spend sometime by the sea. Pier is moderately bigger and neatly maintained.

Even if I visit after a long time, the sea is always there to welcome me. The sea breeze, the sound of the waves, and the white crashing waves recharge my tired body and mind. I live Seal Beach Pier.

Less crowded on a Tuesday afternoon and most shops were opened. I didn’t want to pay for the parking nearby the beach so I parked my car in Seal Beach Center to get my massage at Yongping’s Massage & Spa and then walked towards Main Street, stopped by Red Car Museum on Electric Avenue and the Seal Beach Municipal Pier. The old town neighborhood was quiet and it was so nice to sense the breeze of ocean.

Took this photo 3 to 4 yrs ago. The pier was definitely the best spot to take pics. Love the beach but be mindful of the waves. It's nothing to play with lol

A great fishing pier in an amazing little seaside town. Paid parking can get packed but if you are only staying for an hour or two then street parking is free! Be sure to check the signs as the limits are different in some blocks.

Very beautiful and relatively quiet for a beach. The pier makes this beach unique!

The pier and surrounding area is breathtaking. Nice walks at night and plenty of places to shop, eat and party. I took pictures at night.

Visited Seal Beach and walked the pier with family. Very busy during the summer but there is plenty of room. Their are vendors and performers. It's a great visit for the entire family. We return again.

Wandered to Seal Beach on Memorial Day morning, never been there before, parked and walked down to the beach and down the shoreline to the pier. Really nice, quiet, terrific area. Seems like a nice area to live in, lots of people fishing, surfing next to the pier and eating at nearby restaurants. I left before crowds got too big.
