Mango Dog Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 Nice park divided between large and small dogs. There doesn't appear to be as many objects in the small park as the large one. Both have fountains for you and your pupper. Definitely a place to visit for unleashed playtime. If the activities were more balanced it'd be five stars. People often mention dogs, park, area, large, small, nice, water, people, clean, areas,

We absolutely love coming to this dog park. It’s always nice meeting more dog parents and having friendly conversations while the pups run around and get their energy out. They have water fountains for the dogs and doggie doo doo bags. It’s close to a kids playground so that’s a bonus and has a bathroom. Just be careful because sometimes dogs will get rowdy.

It’s a nice park, separated by big dogs and little dogs. The big dogs of course have a bigger area to run around in, but since I have one of both I brought them both into the big dogs side. There are a couple of obstacles and other things for your dogs, I wish it was bigger but I think they did a great job with the space they had for the park.

Huge, fenced in park. I used the large dog side, which has water, benches throughout, and some agility equipment. It was clean and well kept. The large space allowed groups of dogs to go off and play together, which helps avoid tension.

I bring my dogs here 2 to 3 times a week. They have fun playing with other dogs. This park is somewhat clean. I wish people would pick up their dogs poop when they go. It’s sad when you see a dog owner staring at their dog while it’s going and then just turn around and walk away. Some of the people I’ve met are nice a friendly and some are not. Maybe you shouldn’t bring your dog to a dog park if you’re one of those owners who thinks every other dog is going to eat your dog. But over all it’s a good park for dogs nice and big for them to run. There’s also a small section for small dogs to be in fenced off from the bigger park.

Plenty of room for all the puppers!! This park has ample space, for running as well as parking. Unisex bathroom split by both large and small dogs. Nice undulations. Pretty cool bench under a tree to relax. Plenty of water for everybody. Kids can play at the recreation area nearby.

Just checked out this park today and Mango and was thoroughly impressed. This is by far one of the biggest dog parks I’ve seen in the Tampa Area (complete with a time out area for the bad dogs lol) They even have a rec center here as well. My dog Cali and I will be back soon!

The yards are big but no one seems to clean up after their dogs have went potty. I stepped in some and I saw numerous dogs use the bathroom and no owner picked up after them. It’s like Come on people- clean Up after your dogs! Also I don’t know if anyone else notices but there are water buckets there that use to have grass feed in them, actually very toxic for animals to drink from even if they been “cleaned” out. Super strange. Can’t they just provide actual dog bowls for the dog park? I would donate some if I could be assured they will stay there at the parks. There were trees and lot of places to sit around that at least there was a positive in that aspect. On the fence about this place... over all people need to clean up after their dogs and the need actual water bowls.

We donated buckets to this park. I hope people stop leaving chemical buckets. This park is pretty big. Wide open areas for the dogs. It lacks some inexpensive agility materials. More people need to pickup after there dogs.

Great outdoor space for dogs. There are two fenced areas - One for large dogs, and one for small dogs. Each has seating areas within, and each connect to a public bathroom, though these bathrooms are currently closed for renovations. Bags and trash cans are located throughout the area so people can pick up after their pets. Finally there are various buckets around for dogs to drink from to stay hydrated. One note of caution - There is an area where water pools after rain further into the large dog side. It is almost a certainty your pup will find it like mine did. Just bring some towels with you and you'll be fine as there are hoses available to wash off any mud.

Ari and Enzo enjoy running in the small dog area. The other dogs are friendly and like to run, chase, and do all the sniffing with them. When they get hot and all panting, there are doggie fountains and cool off areas where the humans sit and talk with one another.

People who take their dogs there should realize dogs play and get to meet other dogs. If you think your dog is too skiddish, keep your dog on a leash until it becomes comfortable. And owners, if your dog is aggressively going after a dog, then don't be upset if another owner scalds or disciplines your dog.

My dogs had a blast 🐶🐶🐶! Too bad it got so cold so fast 🙁. Next time we'll go earlier and hope for more sunny ☀️ weather.

Plenty of room for big dogs to run and a segregated place for the smaller doggies. Comfortable place for doggie mommies and daddies to sit as well as a training area. Overall a well thought out facility. In addition there is an adjacent playground area for two legged children as well. A true family location.

I go here pretty often with my pup. Dog owners and dogs are nice. Both sides of the park are handled and kept clean for the most part. Biggest problem is that other dog owners leave their dog toys laying around after they leave and some of those toys, like tennis balls, are molded.

Best dog park in the area. Our girl really loves it. It has two separate area for small and large dogs. Lots of room to run around, trees, nice shade and water areas. People are also very friendly.

Only water supply is near the entrance. When the grass is tall its hard to find the ball, but I guess it don't make since to cut it until it's tall. Lots of room to find your own little spot once in a while.

This is a huge dog park. Best in the area imo. It has everything you need to let your doggies run around and keep them hydrated during hot Florida days.

This was a fabulous dog park. The size was extreme. It had water available for the dogs.

Been taking my kiddos there ever since they were a 3 months old. We love the people and dogs. They are always friendly and welcoming new dog families.

I love the fact that it has a lot of room for my dog to run💕 Most of the dogs are well behave and the owners are nice too! Right now they are having trouble with the drinking water for the dogs but they are working on it. (It's been really hot this summer and our babies need there water)

Very nice park. I call it the nice park. The only problem is the bathrooms. They say the bathrooms in the dog area is always open but I don't want to take my small grandchildren in where there are all sizes of dogs. Just to scary of the unknown. Other than that it is a very nice park.

This is a nice park. Large fenced in areas for small dogs on one side and large dogs on the other side. There is a drone park adjacent to the dog areas. There is a restroom there and a covered area to sit for some shade. There are some large trees and benches in the park. Dog waste bag stations are through out the park.

My dog is know as aggressive breed long story short Ok so I been coming to this park for the past 2-3yrs I have good time and I had bad time the park is a good place clean but I would highly recommend people or this place be strict on people bringing aggressive dogs or if they think their dog is snappy my dog has been bit 3x at this park I don’t mind as a dog owner dogs will be dogs but no one wants there fur baby bit and bleeding and my dog is known as a aggressive breed and he is the sweetest dog there but has been constantly being hurt I would recommend maybe splitting the large breed sode in a portion for people who dogs may be aggressive or even snappy or dominant cause it’s not rite for them to be cautious playing with other animals he had a ripped lip and scared eye now

👍👍 This is my favorite park in Florida. I love to sit under the shade of the big oak tree in the middle of the beautiful grassy feild next to the lake. It's a very natural park with marshy plants by the water, a few big trees, flowers in the spring, one or two crane families, and gorgeous black crows w...
