Love the river prawn keow teow which has fully been infused with the flavor of the very fresh prawns. The other dishes were also generally good. While you may have to wait a little due to the crowd, it was orderly and service was attentive.

Came here for second time, first time myself and this round with a group of friends. So we actually ordered almost every food in the menu. I like their wa tan ho (滑蛋河), fish porridge and fried chicken with namyu. The mee goreng mamak and the kou rou beehun (扣肉米粉) are both not my taste, will not order these two again when i revisit. Food taste: 7/10 Price: 7/10 Environment: 6/10 Service: Okay Parking: Not so easy Que 1 hour to enter the restaurant. Maybe because we visited during weekends.

Came here with friends for lunch - 9 of us in total. There was a LONG queue but the queue was well organised by the ticketing system & the person in charge. A very automated restaurant as a matter of fact as food/drinks were mostly delivered via robo waiter. Wait time: 30 mins. Portions are quite small but taste wise 👌🏼 Yao char kuey is as they advertised on the wall, crispy and fresh, not overly oily. I enjoyed the wat tan hor - understand that this is their signature. Wok hei was very strong and fragrant, mellowed down by the egg sauce. Fried rice and pork were ok.

What a big disappointment over today lunch here! Was told the best and a MUST visit for hor fun dishes here. We did ordered a giant prawn HorFun(RM114), Penang LorBak and 2 local homemade drinks. The famous giant horfun ... personally we find it too fishy and over powered the char of the horfun with so much of eggy smell and taste! After few mouth full, we felt it ready taste fishy and unpleasant. The Penang Lorbak just taste average. The homemade drinks ended up using the prebottle paste sweetening and so unhealthily sweet. Never return for sure! Many other places seems taste 100 times better than this restaurant and cheaper too.

Long queue during weekend, took some time to be seated. Food is really good, their famous dish is the river prawn noodle, recommended! They only offer us the big prawns during order, after that they came back and said big prawns no more, offered us the medium prawns which is cheaper option. Feeling that they just wanted to sell the expensive ones 😅 Recommend to get the medium prawns if u just wanted to try and when you have more people to share. Braised pork belly Bihun is not bad as well.

This place always has a queue but credit to the operators, they have a very systematic process to handle the crowds in an efficient manner. They even have one of those serving robots! Went on a Saturday around 2pm and waited around 20min for a table. For us, the star dish is the porridge which was really yummy with a perfect texture. Wat tan hor with fish (more affordable compared to sang har) was average, maybe a tad too salty. Instead, we thought their interpretation of mee goreng was surprisingly nice.

Very tasty and fragrant ‘Wa Tan Hor’. Definitely will order this the next time here. And will be one size bigger. Porridge is nothing to shout about. Had steamed fish head ‘Soong Yue’. Nice and not fishy nor feared mud smell. Was too tasty n forgot to take pictures. The pictures of noodles were also taken after eating 2 bowls. 😬.

Tried the porridge / Watanho / fried rice, everything were tasty, wok hei is really heavy in all of the dish. Porridge is a must to order. For the price, it might come lil bit pricy compare with the portion of the food, as all we order is 2pax. But its tasty so it'll contras. Overall must go try 🤩

Recently came back again after a few years. Still easily the best wat tan hor I’ve had in Klang Valley. Best to come on a weekday. Good to see that they have a digitized queue system now to keep the lines in order. Recommended!

Long queue, far from town but trust me worth it! Must-try dishes look simple but are aromatic and tasty. Note: Please order 1 shot any repeating orders are required to wait awhile. Overall service and atmosphere are goods

We came in two person around 11am, the staff recommended prawn noodles and mee goreng. Indeed the food was delicious. They did ask if we want bigger prawn- RM68 per person or normal size prawn- RM48 per person. We ordered the normal prawn size. And it was not small at all. The photo showing prawn noodles for two and mee goreng for one.

always packed with diners. the queue was horrendous during weekends, sometimes more than an hour to get a table. parking was another headache. on a positive note, their wat tan hor was always great. taste different from others. highly recommend. fish porridge was another good dish, good porridge thickness with fresh fish meat. always ordered these two dishes whenever we were here. worth the hassle to come here and queue for an hour? yes but not always. 😄 overall 4.5⭐ for the food.

Proper queue is good since this place is always packed. The little robot needs to be more accurate as it stops between us and next table but it is for our table. Food quality seemed to have go down a bit but still good comparing to other places.

This morning arrived at 10.45am. So lucky, no long queue, may be is weekday. Usually, you have to wait almost an hour during the weekend. We ordered fish century egg porridge, wat tan hor, mamak fried mee, lobak and lam yee chicken wings. Overall food is nice. I like it. They also have robots to deliver your food. Place is clean and fast service.

Fried pork 客家炸肉and Prawn hor fun(Sang Har Watdanhorr) are must-try. Pork mihun was delicious too. Fish Porridge to me was just average. Nothing special. We waited for about an hour to get seated. It was really busy on a holiday brunch time. It is abit pricey but it was worth it. So relative to its pricing, its 4 star rating is just and true.

Overall the food was 3.5 ⭐. Looking at how Pan Heong is set up, there must be an institution in this part of KL. Everything is set up to be the McD of Chinese restaurants - from the queueing and waiting system that a bank would be proud to the robot servers. Fascinating! I came a few minutes before they opened at 8am and got an early queue no. By 8:30am the restaurant was almost full. And they are not a breakfast joint - they have a full menu! However, the food was not to my taste texture wise. Nothing wrong with the taste though (except for the mee goreng). Their famous porridge and wat tan hor came with generous servings of fish slices. The wat tan hor had perfect wok hei and taste but I found the sauce too eggy and gooey. The same went for the porridge. It was a bit thick; perhaps I should have added hot water. The mee goreng was forgetful and suffers an identity crisis - it is not Indian, Malay or Chinese style. Uncle Roger would have made a video with this! The you tiao is really really good though. But the crowds don't lie. I am now beginning to doubt my own taste buds. Taste is subjective - you go early and check out what the fuss is all about.

the highlight here has to be their 'wad Dan hor' (egg gravy horfun) I did come all the way for this. drench in delicious egg gravy. the kaw yuk mai fun are also executed in perfection , ull find many places r often very oily ..over here it's dry and the meehon absorb the gravy to the right point before serving. If I come with more people , I'll definitely order their loh mee and porridge too. I don't really get to eat here a lot (due to distance and the queue) but I've love this place since more than 10 years ago, and not only they manage to keep up with the quality .. the execution inside the kitchen also significantly improved ..I didn't have to wait very long for my food to be served. already looking forward for my next visit

Sang Har noodle and pork is good. The place now comes with ticketing queue system. The not so good part is they can't wait to chase you off, even you are not done eating, they will bring you the bill

I'm considered a regular here. This place is known for their "wat tan hor", and the side dishes - fried pork and fried beancurd roll. The queue is getting longer and longer though...

Porridge was average, sang har mien had lots of wok hey but wouldn’t say it’s that great, used to be a lot better. The fried stuff was pretty good and tasty. Service was very good and friendly. Still a nice place for early morning breakfast or lunch.

Excellent steamed fish head and fried bean sprouts. The noodle is too starchy for my liking. Implements automation for Queue numbering and delivery of dishes which is fair for queue control- impressive! Will try the other dishes in my next visit.

A place where famous people go! In the restaurant, you will see plenty of the restaurant owner and public figures photos hanging on the walls. A well-known restaurant you may not want to miss in KL. Unfortunately, I find the foods normal except for 滑蛋河 which you must try. 招牌蒸松鱼头, 槟城卤肉 and 生鱼皮蛋粥 were alright but the 印度面 was little bit plain. The waiters are all friendly (kudos to the humble behaviour they have) and the foods were served fast. We were there at around 1045am but the queue had already started. When we left at 12pm, the waiting seats outside the restaurant were basically fully occupied. Suggest to drop by early if you do not want to stuck in the long wait.

Amazing food, and incredible value. We were let in at 3pm (lucky ... last orders at 2.45pm on a Sunday). My potato leaves were delivered by a robotic server on wheels that navigated around the tables. The wat tan hor (noddles with prawns and more) was fabulous, as were the potato leaves. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is famous for its "wa tan ho". Very tasty and I would say best in KL. Plan your trip ahead as normally this shop will be crowded and long queue. Parking is available around the shoplots. Pricing is cheap.

9/10. Docking off one point cos the chicken was salty. We were there early so parking was ok. Showed to our seats. There was a 30 min wait for food. Despite ua arriving at 810am. 10 minutes after they officially open. The seating arrangement is wide ( we found out later so as to allow the little robot waiter to go through) the place was clean and airy. And the drink ( hot Chinese tea for me) was a decent size. The fried mee was absolutely lovely. We would return for this. The lobak was okay. Tasty. Thr fried chicken was a tad too salty. Consistency was nice and the skin bad the right amount of crunch. It was served with tomato sauce so perhaps if we had dipped it in it may have taken some of the saltiness away. The shop had many customers by the time we left it was full. Yes will be returning. My advice is to bring your own container to takeaway they charge 30sen for plastic and packaging.

Highly recommended their sang har mee! Though the prawn is a little pricey but it is worth the try. Explosion of the prawn flavor in their gravy and prawn is very fresh. As for the lor mee, only add the vinegar to your own serving as then it won't be too diluted and taste way better. I like it with more vinegar so I asked for more. They are very generous with the portion. We came in 3 people and ordered sang har mee for 2 people, lor mee for 2 people and a small veggie was too much. So I suggest you can just go with the portion for 1 person each, then add on another dish if you wish to have more. Sang har mee min order is 2 pieces of prawns regardless the size of the noodles and they break the prawns into two, so just nice for 2 or 4 people. Was RM 65 for each prawn. They are open from 8am to 3.30pm. Please take note that the restaurant is just opposite to a school, so be prepared for the traffic during school hours.
