We booked 2 tapaks at the Event Campsite, by the river. Didn't camp overnight, just a day trip. (Price is the same for either). We had 6 kids and 4 adults in our company, with the youngest kid at 4 years old. This is an awesome place for a getaway. We went on the ATV (kids have to be accompanied by an adult on each ATV), kayaking (there are ones for kids too) where the lake is only waist deep. We also rented their electric scooters, bicycles. You have so many choices for your overnight stay. Various styles of tent for rent, villas, chalets, cottages. On our next trip, we are so doing overnight stays. The place is very clean, with an emphasis for you to clean up after yourselves. The other campers, visitors were super friendly and helpful, offering tips. The staff at the management office was super patient and kind with us. We had a blast!

One of the best camping site with facility. Good place for camping with friends and families. Nicely maintained. Toilet area very big and clean. Camping equipment for rent is available here but need request early. All campsite need book at website. Don’t make whatapps booking no one with respond. Whatapps reply very slow. Parking fees RM10 per car.

For those who wish to have camping experience without going thru all the set up hassle. Everything is provided except for meal and beverage. Tent, lamp, fan, table, chair, utensils, cooking wares, air mattress and a clean blanket. Not bad overall. Check in at 2pm. And parking is near our camp site so making unloading easy. After a heavy downpour in the afternoon, the weather is windy and chill. It get cold during the night and sunny after 8am. Check out by 11am and have to clean up before leaving.

Stayed at the resort rooms with small kids - an attempt to introduce nature gradually to the young ones without compromising much of the urban comfort. It worked out just nice as the kids liked it & didn't mind a return visit in future. The whole nature park was not big but good enough for a short stay. The scenery was good, and there's a small river with a not-so-rapid stream, quite safe for kids to dip into with supervision. Water was clear with small fishes seen. Rooms were comfortable and clean with the basic amenities. The shower was a plus point for me with good water pressure & adequate heat. The toilets for the camping ground were well maintained and generally clean. We were provided with breakfast at the nearby cafe & I was pleasantly surprised by the selection & taste (probably because I wasn't expecting much to begin with, considering this is not a big-scale resort). Mostly traditional Malaysian breakfast with nasi lemak, mee goreng and various kuih, also the usual toasts and cereals + fruits, cakes. The staff were attentive & topped up the food when finishing. Can't comment much on the camping ground but generally this looks like a good camping site for beginners. The various sites looked safe with basic amenities such as toilets provided nearby. Overall, this resort is well maintained (this is important), landscaping is done nicely & facilities are adequate & good. Of course, you have to set your expectations right and don't compare it to a 4/5 star hotel; this is afterall a nature retreat and any urban comfort is already a luxury. Well recommended especially for KL-Selangor dwellers for a short nearby staycation which is family friendly (kids & older people).

everything is nice the place is very clean. the room is decent like a hotel. got a chance to play ATV. quite challenging for a first timer but doable. the instructor will never leave u stuck, 5 star for the ATV guy. river is clean. i really love auntie and uncle who incharge with the breakfast, so friendly and kind. the only downside is the is no cellular network in here. in case of emergency u could never make a call or WhatsApp anyone.

My first time experience camping at resort taman eco rimba Komanwel, will be great if bbq equipment is provided ~ overall is a good try ~ stay away from the city and chill out with friend at here ~ will be great if have water heater for bath ~ toilet abit far from tent ~ 🥹

1st time camping, the place is very accessible and friendly. Toilet and shower are very clean and well maintained. I saw the cleaner taking effort to maintain the place. Ample parking space. Quiet and nice. Enjoy our stay and feel very safe even we were the only camper for the night. Gate close at 9pm so is kind of safe in that sense. Happy experience.

The family campsite was great with huge field for the kids to run around. Be aware of the monkey that will sneakily come and steal your food. Toilets are clean where the water is from river. However, there is another toilet closer to the glamping area which has cleaner water. There are activities like kayaking, catching the fish by the river and etc. bring your own fishing net tho.

WARNING!! They will no refund your deposit for lame reasons. Me and my group stayed there over night. The next morning we cleaned our spot and checked out. The management asked to sign that I have received the deposit and that they “will transfer later”, I trusted them and signed it and later they texted that they found afew items we left behind and water bottles far away from where my group camped and said we’ll NOT REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT! Be careful they will charge you 200Rm if you forgot a tissue! Scammers will always be sneaky. Definitely not recommended for camping as they have poor management 👎🏻👎🏻 Oh yes, and dirty toilets 🤢 Update: After the below response, which is exaggerating the amount of things left. Keep in mind, there were no trash bin accessible to us by the way! I will attach the “strong photographic evidence” While I admit some are ours but others they just claimed it’s our to justify their scam.

We had an unpleasant journey. The night we were camping, there was a light next to our campsite that was off, we whatsapped the person in charge to see if the light was still functioning, he said it should be, but it turned out not to be on. We were disgusted that the next morning, a staff member came by and we asked him if the light was broken? He said it's not broken, it will only be switched on when there is an event. Don't we have the right to use this lamp if we only rent a campsite? We also have paid the rental, if our campsite is not an event, why is it called an event campsite? In addition, he also placed the mosquito coils when we checked out, not when we checked in. :D

2D1N was not enough! my husband booked the event campsite which is located right next to the river, which is basically a small clear stream with so many little fishes swimming. my kids absolutely enjoyed the river and little fishes. toilet is so clean its like we never left home! it was so clean and even smells good. place is clean, plenty of activities, its hard to be bored here. if i can give this place 100 stars, i totally would. price is a little on the steeper side, but it was worth every penny.

Overall a great camping experience at the Family campsite for first time campers. Top notch communal toilets and showers. However beware: - not many trees except for a few lots, so your site will get very hot after 10 in the morning. - sites FC26 to FC28 were flooded even though it did not rain while we were there. - the river at the Family Campsites are very small. Much better for kids swimming at the Event campsite. What I disliked the most was the negative vibes you get from management. They are slow to respond and quite inflexible on requests to change sites. As soon as you enter you are barraged with strict warnings about fines (RM5K if you make a campfire, RM50 if you don't bring your trash to the communal trash bin, RMxx for every hour you're late to checkout etc). While it's fine to have these rules, it's really not welcoming to be the first thing communicated. We did a recce of the Event campsite, and will definitely book here next time. It's much shadier and quieter, with a nice ramp for trolley access. River is definitely nicer. On the downside, there are only two toilets (one male one female) and open outdoor showers. This is fine by me (can shower using sarong) but some may not like this. Anyhow you can always drive or walk to the Family campsite toilet as an alternative. One last warning - beware of monkeys! The monkeys raided our campsite while we were at the river. They rolled off a heavy water tank from our plastic boxes, unclasped the handles and helped themselves to our food! It was really messy with opened food packets everywhere! Advice to put something very heavy on your food boxes or place them in your car or something.

By far the best maintained park ever, very safe clean for family and kids suitable for youth kids and family especially those love glamping relax activities, foods provided for those stay overnight at resort home, those. Camping comes with their own equipment and cook foods on their own.... Perfect get away from city, is a very short smooth drive away from city too..... Enjoy!!!!!

Lotsa new changes at the resort under the new management, it is a place of hip and trendy and as a trendy place it’s full of visitors. For riverside with tree shade, choose the Event 1 campsite and if you like open space, can try the field.. but it’s going to be very hot 😂. Price had increased too from previously RM50/night to RM80/night.

Went for camping, the site is very nicely maintained, they have a few campsites. The famous spots are the Padang campsite. I can understand why people enjoy it - the grass is really nice and don’t have to worry about mud etc. We camped near the lakeside in a Sandy area, slightly further away from public amenities. If you carry a lot then it will be a little inconvenient - pls go for Padang campsite - but it can get crowded with families over the weekend. But definitely very cooling at night! Only complain is everything is so nice but to wash your cuttleries and cookware you have to do it by the drain 🤣😅

Very nice campsite. It's my 2nd visit and I actually anticipating some improvements could be done. Pros: Clean river with lots of fishes, spacious ground for campsites, clean washrooms, friendly staff, overall experience was great! Will return for sure. Love the environments and landscape. Cons: Monkeys are a little bit disturbing, stealing food and stuff of campers. The kayak, boat etc pond activities that previously were complimentary are now chargeable. Free drinking water station is not available anymore. No water heater on the campsite main washroom, toddlers and young kids may have hard time for taking bath. Hope to see improvements: 1) some clean up/refurbishment at the highway entrance, which appear to be so run down. Understand that it's not belongs to the resort, but some initiatives or proposal to the local municipal would probably help. 2) more puppet tigers should be placed near to the family campsite to reduce the disturbance from monkeys. 3) water heater in the bathroom, at least 1 on male and 1 on female bathroom. 4) Clean water drinking station (filtered water) would ease up campers and more environment friendly compare to bringing in tonnes of plastic bottles. 5) Sensor lightings - would be great if more (but not many) solar sensor lightings could be place along the main walkway (near the bridges, staircase, tar road) towards the main washroom from campsites to avoid unnecessary accident especially at late night.

Really great campsite. The road leading up to it is shaded and pretty. Once inside, its serene and calming. Family campsite is big and spacious. The lake is big and has no odour. The facilities are great with working showers and toilets.

Stayed for a night at their Resort room. Love it and wouldn’t hesitate to come again. The place and the room is clean. The river is shallow that I’m not too worried letting my child to play. There is a warung for food and a cafe that opens until 9pm. The room is clean even have an iron in the room. Just love it because it’s close to KL. Lol.

We visited Taman Eko Rimba Komanwel in Rawang a few weeks ago and chose River Cottage as our "weekend well spent vibes". Very clean enviroment, river just in front our tent, all of the staff are friendly, many exciting activities you can do here, I really recommend others to come and experience here, sure I will come back to this magnificient atmosphere.

But here only got 1 toilet n open shower. And next got cafe open until 9pm only. But i prefer here coz river is more attractive for kids. Rental 1 tapak rm100. 1 tapak max 5 pax only. 1 kereta parkg rm10. For me rental rm100 is not worth it at all. Only 1 toilet n sink provided and u have to walk far. If family campsite only like macam padang. Di kelilingi tasik. Not big tasik...cuma kalau malam pasang lampu tu cantik la. And during day time macam panas gila area family site tu. Not recommended. Near event campsite also got resort. But not a big resort. I think just 2 small block. Activities got bicycle. Atv. Jungle tracking. Private area. Only booking can enter. As usual not so many pictures taken.. only videos.

Nice camping that is suitable for family. Clean bathrooms, designated dish washing area and dustbin area is provided. The road towards the premise can be improved. Toilet is clean at first day but very dirty and yucky at the another morning😑 Overall 8/10 ideal for family with young kids.

It was amazing place and very good experience with the new team of Tryveler with they friendly guidance and helpful of they services. Will definitely go back again.

We bring our own tent and camp here. We love it as there are activities for the kids (including a beautiful river for them to play in), it is close to home (30 mins from Mont Kiara/Desa Parkcity), and it has a cafe so is more like camping-lite - a good compromise between wild camping and glamping. We also found out this time (when I forgot to bring a pan to cook in 🤦) that the campsite is only 6 minutes from Lotus Rawang! All this, not to mention the friendly staff and beautiful setting. A great spot to get away from the city.

A nice place to go healing and have a peace of mind also all of the staff is so so friendly and welcoming...I would definitely recommend this place for couples, family's and also gathering for big group they have accommodation too...so nice definitely will come backk...the massage from Bonda Ani is a top notch definitely should try when you visit this place...the admin staff is so cool with directions and her services and also not forgetting our guide for ATV ride En Nazli ...a definite serene and to go place...the food is nice they have a free breakfast where you can cook your own eggs and bread since some like their eggs cooked differently...have a cafe down ...and also should thank Cik Bunga...the room is clean and good and the bathroom is clean provided with soap shampoo conditioner towel all in the shower is Soo Soo hot and good...
