Excellent spot, made all the better by the reasonable price charged. There is a focus on local, seasonal ingredients, so currently lots of asparagus and carrots, which are incorporated well into the various dishes. Attentive service provided by Sabri, who was very helpful throughout the meal. Highly recommend for a great meal in Metz.

This is a truly exceptional dining experience. Delicious food with truly original preparation and presentation. Take the fixed price menu, and allow the chef to entertain you. Very attentive and kind service to Americans with very little French.

What a fantastic place! My family and I stumbled into this restaurant after a long day of walking around the Metz. We were not dressed "fancy" but they let us in. The food server/hostess was so pleasant and friendly and spoke some English which was a treat as none of us spoke French. We had the Chef's choice, prepared to be surprised and boy were we surprised!! Each meal was so delicious. The food was perfectly balanced, the presentation exquisite, the selection evidently local and a great presentation of what is available at Metz. We were full, merry, and quite pleased. This restaurant embodies its name....quintessence. We will absolutely come back!!

Everything was perfect. I came here with my mom for her birthday and from the moment we entered the restaurant it felt like a completely different atmosphere. The service was impeccable, the dishes so very well thought and explained by the waiter, and how they use regional products as the heart in their menu is fantastic. I strongly recommend it. I won't add photos to my review, I'll let you discover it for yourselves!

The top tier of culinary experiences. The service is top notch and the dishes play with taste, color, and texture in enjoyable ways. I tried this at the easier entry point of the weekday lunch menu, but, based on my experience here, it is well worth it to try their dinner menu as well.

went on a Monday for lunch and didn’t have a reservation, but thankfully I was still able to get a spot. food and service was great! started strong with the amuse bouche until the end with the citron tart (this one was very generous, it could have been for 2 ppl😂) overall had a lovely time here!

A surprisingly good meal in this little restaurant in Metz. We took the Chef’s surprise menu and enjoyed every dish he prepared. My beef starter was delicate and delicious, with layered flavors and textures.

Food was nice but not extraordinary. The fish terrine was to cold to be tasty. The fresh fish (baudroie) was really nice.

Great price for a lovely meal. There is a vegetarian Menue available.
