Amazing place. The monastery was founded during the Battle of Kulikovo. Located on the high bank of the Moscow River from where the then distant Moscow was visible. One temple was built from three that were here before by Patriarch Adrian. Their entrances are different, the spaces and architecture are unusual. The second, huge one, was built under Nicholas 2nd, in honor of the birth of Tsarevich Alexei, painted by Vasnetsov!

A small, cozy, beautiful monastery. There is a cotton toy museum on site where you can view the exhibitions for free. Children will also love the funny, nimble squirrels. There is a very small refectory where you can buy pies and tea.

Anyone who has not been there should come and admire this monastery. It is not that big, but its history, like that of most monasteries, deserves attention. There is a Sunday school at the monastery. This time we went to give away things, just in time for the season. But the flock of fragrant homeless people nearby, snatching up all the bags that people bring, did not surprise, but did not greatly please either. We are all equal before the Lord, but someone is more equal, I immediately wanted to say. No, that's not true. This is our personal feeling. I just wanted to give things into the hands of another person. We turned to the woman and said that we had brought something that might be suitable for children and teenagers, and she happily took the bag. Thank God! We walked around the monastery, listened to the bell ringer, and didn’t forget to admire the cute squirrels that live in the enclosure at the monastery. A little ashamed that we probably divided people into like and not like everyone else, we got ready to head back. Be sure to come here, if you want to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle and pray, come. If, due to the unfavorable viral situation, you are afraid to enter the temple, then you can stand and pray near it at the icon of St. Nicholas. And just be filled with this feeling of unity with the Lord. And how beautiful it is here in winter! What blue spruce trees there are!

I recommend visiting. The Iveron Cathedral is quite large. Inside is an icon of the Iveron Mother of God. It seems there are icons with the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and Matrona. St. Nicholas and Assumption churches were closed. I looked at the Temple of St. Sergius of Radonezh while it was being cleaned.

We went on a tour and received not only aesthetic pleasure, but also a lot of useful information and, we hope, benefits for the soul! The temples are very beautiful both inside and outside. Our narrator was wonderful, even people far from the church were inspired)

Wonderful and wonderful place! As the monastery is no longer active, the Nikolo-Perervinsky Seminary is now located here. Very beautiful temples!

Beautiful . You can ring the bells, although not always))) squirrels live on the territory. There is also an interesting museum of cotton toys inside, where master classes are held.

A beautiful monastery with a very interesting history and a wonderful atmosphere. Nice church shop. There is an opportunity to buy something to eat (food, drinks) in another room. The main thing is to always have a very bright mood when visiting the temple. I also liked the flower beds on the territory of the monastery - the phloxes are so beautiful, and the aroma... The kids will be delighted by the squirrels and seals (they are given special care there).
