A well known market for cheap and good goods. The market is a modern traditional market. but enough to make the place clean and tidy. This market is vast, no buyers are jostling. With tiled buildings and a market center it becomes an attractive market for all. In the market, visitors can not only shop but also can visit the culinary, like in a supermarket.

The legend and iconic market since the period of Dutch colonisation. So glad to visit this wonderful heritage site. 🤩👍

The architecture of the building is awesome. Especially the pilar. It is built many years ago. The designer is from Netherlands. The market is one of the icon of Semarang city. People like to shops here because the price is cheaper. Not only daily things but also fashion and many things provide in this market

Average for regular market. Not very complete, but quite enough

When I visited this market there was a night market that was held before ramadhan holy month that was always held every year before ramadhan. at the night market you can find a lot of stuff and attractions such as ghost house, biang lala, perahu naga, komidi putar and many more.

Just like the usual market. I went to the clothes sections, not really crowded. There are many various store selling glasses, clothes, wedding craft, and etc. I dont know the other sections, ive never been there since relocated. But well, its better place than before.

The most iconic traditional market in Semarang. The landmark of Semarang. The pillars are the product of architectural genius made by Dutch architect. It burnt down several years ago, but the local government slowly rebuilds it.

It's over Pasar Centrale ....Herman Thomas Karsten (1938). Now, will be finished in 2019 after repaired since 2017. Pasar Johar, Semarang.

One day this place will be back like old days... Still under contruction after burn years ago...
