The beautiful appearance is deceptive. I was particularly struck by the disrespectful behavior of men towards women.

Didn't felt safe there, especially as a woman, very uncomfortable. Also got a bad impression about how female employees are treated there. If you travel alone you really should consider another place. I was happy to leave next day. Take care

We had a wonderful stay here, the food was fantastic and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The family room was a great size and both rooms had bathrooms. The pools were great. Excellent location for visiting the waterfalls. They arranged excellent transport for us when we left.

Probably the most upscale resort in the Senaru area. It is interesting to see that the space is on an imposing cliff and barricaded by fence all around (probably great for VIPs safety). There are multiple infinity pools within the Lodge. The food is expensive (by local standards) and a little underwhelming at its price point. We walked around the area while the food was being prepared and it did have a scenic view, especially the vast scenery it overlooks that do not have any buildings.

No luxury at all, just a nice pool ! WiFi doesn't not work, bed not comfortable, no flynet neither window in the bathroom so all bugs coming in ... Rubbish by the pool. Average breakfast. On the day the let anyone in so this place is becoming soooooo noisy !!!! I don't recommend

I feel like this place doesn’t worth the price. My room was dirty: sheets were dirty, there was plenty of spider webs, dust and dead insects all over the place. This is not what you expect for that price range. The food is very good tho, and the staff is super nice and helpful. The pool and view is very nice as well!

This is my review of my experience staying at Rinjani Lodge Villa and Hotel, Senaru Lombok: - The hotel locates at the edge of the cliff, with beautiful views of sunrise, forest, and Rinjani mountain. Its a walking distance to waterfalls, Senaru geopark, and traditional village. - The staff and the hotel manager are polite, diligent, helpful, and friendly. - Food is professionally cooked, displayed, and taste good. - I stay in room 1 with a spacious and open toilet. Its a nice room with an artistic design. But, sometimes the toilet has a bad smell may be from the toilet drain system. - However, I had an uncomfortable experience with the owner of the hotel: The hotel manager organized a 3 days/2 nights trip for me to Mount Rinjani. A guide and a porter were hired to accompany me on the trip. In the presentation of the plans for the trip, which took place at the reception, the hotel owner showed an arrogant and disrespectful behavior towards the three men by criticizing their plans in a very rude way in front of other staffs and guests. In addition, he tried to make me responsible for the welfare of my companions by saying "If you have a heart, use two carriers instead of one". This made me feel extremely uncomfortable as I had no prerequisite to have any opinion about this. I found this behavior unprofessional. - Anyway, I had the best guide and porter who made sure I had a wonderful trip to Rinjani summit. They made the whole trip unforgettable. Thanks again to the staffs and the hotel manager who made my stay at Rinjani Lodge was a nice experience.

We stayed at the hotel for two days. At night we were woken up about every hour because there seemed to be a lot of mice or other animals living in the roof. You could hear them running around all the time and also beeping and screaming. I pointed this out in the morning. The staff simply said they will look into it. I would have expected a proper apology. So i think, the hotel is overrated. The price-performance ratio is definitely not right. There are very good, nicer and, above all, much cheaper accommodations in the immediate neighbourhood.

THÉ BEST HOTEL (LODGE) NORTH LOMBOK It is the only hotel north of Lombok: clean, good quality service, smile, nice rooms, huge bathrooms, large terrace, beautiful view, top location for trekking. The only downside is the restaurant which is a little refectory and a kitchen that could be improved. To recommend 👍👍

Rinjani lodge is a stunning hotel in Senaru, Lombok. Higher up the mountain so slightly cooler than sea level and overlooking the most stunning jungle valley, but still warm, I found the heat more variable than somewhere like Gilli Trawangan. The rooms are fantastic, the infinity pools are stunning overlooking the jungle with mountains to your right and the sea to your left. Breakfast has a good variety and the restaurant offers some really nice traditional and western meals, I would definitely recommend the steak sandwich. There are multiple seating areas and viewpoints, in 2 days you wouldn't be able to capture all the stunning views. Nearby are 2 waterfalls, walkable, I would advise water shoes or sturdy sandles as there are some streams to cross, but Tiu Kelep in particular is stunning and well worth the visit. Rinjani lodge is a little remote but the staff are more than happy to organise transport and advise you of the best things to do. Marta the owner is so kind and welcoming, there was a local ceremony in the villages nearby and they were more than enthusiastic to invite people to join in and observe the local culture. Truly a special place and a special experience.

Having read all the negative reviews I knew what to look out for. But I can also spot fake reviews given by fake accounts. Unfortunately, it would appear this place may have been targeted by fake negative reviews for whatever reason. However, points to consider is that we were here is December, somewhat of the off season, only about 4 of the rooms we're being used. The rooms were really nice, parts slightly dated but overall really good. Good placed outlets and also had UK plugs in places which ofcourse suited us well but maybe not others. There are 4 pools (2 lots of 2) which are clean and have great views. So the view. This is what people come here for, along with the tour up the mountain. The view is just amazing. You can see the sea over the horizon all the way up across jungle and rice fields to the top of the mountain. Ofcourse being a mountain causes a lot of cloud coverage but was clear every morning we were there. It enables lovely sunsets and sunrises. The staff were all very attentive, polite and conversational. I had read bad things about staff being mistreated and sexism shown. But maybe they hid that all from us. There weren't many guests so maybe this isn't representational. But all staff were joking with each other, chilled, seemed happy. We didn't see any arguments. The staff all did look quite young and not sure maybe the main manager was not around at the time of our stay. The food was really good quality. The breakfasts were some of the best I've have in Indonesia, with a good range to pick from. The lunch and evening menu was very extensive. BUT, there was a lot on the menu that when asked for they didn't have. Small list of: yoghurt, anything with mozzarella, ginger ale, duck, 60% of the ice cream flavours, strawberries and tiger seasonal fruit (which we don't blame them for ofcourse). This took a significant wedge out of the menu unfortunately. Unsure if that was because it was off peak so didn't keep in or just hadn't had delivery maybe. But all stayes out for 4 days we visited. Price of food was probably about average compared to other places we've been in Indonesia. Good value overall I'd say As a side note, there is now barbed wire fencing surrounding the property which I am going to presume is to keep the monkeys off as reading previous reviews they were a nuisance. We saw one monkey during our stay and the staff were on it, trying to contain so guests didn't have to worry.

We felt great sense of peace and connection with nature staying here. My parents absolutely love the place and its proximity to the Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls. We trekked into the forest and had a dip in the waterfall pools, a memory we will never forget! Food is just OK, but easy to go outside and eat somewhere else. The room is nice with an open air bathroom. We loved listening to the geckos at night.

This place is beautiful but for the price we would expect better cleaning and maintenance. Also, keep in mind that they have tour coming here for lunch arriving in bus so forget the peacefulness of the place

Very good view and it's in front of mount Rinjani. Staff so friendly and have a good food. Around of hotel still natural so you will see monkeys around to say hello. Very recommended for you to relax.

The views were absolutely stunning, but the food wasn’t very great, they were also out of all the fish (!) and most fruit. (in July :-S) the bathrooms weren’t very clean. So wouldn’t recommend the place.

Nicest hotel in the area by far (I’ve stayed at three others). Feels the most like a real resort. Very clean. The front desk even called in a masseuse!

Incomparable views of Mt Rinjani. Spacious rooms. Horizon pools. Clean air and low humidity. This beautiful place was hit hard by the 2018 earthquake and then the pandemic, so it’s good to see it has started to get back on its feet. Only downsides were the guide-touting at the Lodge and everywhere else in Senaru, the restaurant is quite pricey (although plenty of warung options within 100 m) and the room, particularly the bathroom, was terribly dirty. I don’t think the shower had been cleaned in months. Friendly staff.

The food is amazing, there is a pool for your kids if they wanna swim while waiting for us eating our food. This is some sick combo with traditional building and beautiful view that is briliant !

  • 3/5 Maciej B. 1 year ago on Google
Foods mediocre, small portions and expensive as opposed to the local cafes, runs out of Hot water often, the WiFi only works half the time, shower head is leaking causing it to pour water all over the bathroom, there was a random bag of chips in the cabinet from the previous tourists, besides that the views are incredible, swimming pool is a Little cold but still very nice and the service is also very nice and helpful

The place is clean and comfortable, equipped with good supporting facilities such as a restaurant right facing the hills of Mount Rinjani making a comfortable, calm atmosphere accompanying your meal time to be very memorable. The food here is also very good with a variety of food and drink menus. Nice to drop by here. Thank you

Had some guests on our visit to Lombok and decided to stop at Rinjani Lodge for lunch before continuing onto the next item on our itinerary. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food despite a standard menu (being in the middle of nowhere, I was sceptical whether they could put together decent non-Indonesian dishes). My padthai came out amazing! The others ordered capcay and fried rice and those were delicious too (but obviously Indonesian dishes so we expected that). The scenery was of course amazing. There was a slight fog covering the top of Mt Rinjani but the fresh air and never-ending views were a treat for these Jakartan eyes. Enjoyed every moment and totally recommend for those in the area to visit.
