This outlet is not a tiny shop, but certainly has made good use of the available space in the store to its full advantage - that's one of the hallmarks of any Starbucks in Malaysia. It always manages to maximise the usage of space without sacrificing comfort. There is the usual outdoor seating which I felt was a larger space, but the tables and chairs weren't as comfortable as compared to the ones inside the store. What more can I say about the drinks there? They all follow the same recipe around the world, and therefore, taste doesn't differ that much from store to store. What I do like to try, though, are the non-coffee drinks, and that's where sometimes tastes can differ, by a lot - in particular, their Signature Hot Chocolate. Maybe it was my lucky day, but I got served a really creamy, thick hot chocolate which made me sit up and enjoy. No, it's not because of that extra shake of cocoa powder at the very top of the drink. The barista who made my drink must have had a good day.

Gave less 1⭐️ because it is soooo hard to find. I read the address and it says on west wing, so i went to the west wing and couldnt find anything, until i read one of reviews that said it is actually outside at symphony walk. Symphony walk is basically the centre of the (old) mall, near the big lift, so just go straight outside and go to the left. Starbucks is opposite of Ombak restaurant. Use ur own tumblr if you want to save a little money (Rm2), it doesnt matter if it is sbux tumblr or not.

The temperature around this place very warm, was sweating relentlessly. The aircon inside ioi mall is much better than here.

Temperature is not cold as suggested. One of the staff named Umar is rude and act like a boss. I brought outside food to eat ( with container box ) and didn’t make any mess, HALAL food as well, told me not to eat and said will call guard if I continue to eat and I said I tried many other outlets no issue as long as I order drinks, which I did and he said that this is his store. Went to talk with store manager and said that yes I am allowed to eat outside food as long as I order a drink. That staff just feels unprofessional because there are also a lot of other customers who have their outside food at the store, but he never tell them to not eat but just come to me, meaning just warn me only (Other people are different races). I did know that outside food is not allowed, but upon checking on Google, it should be okay based on what I brought.

I went there recently. I gv 4 stars to service because they communication vise is less. Other than that everything were superb & i love Starbucks.

Typical Starbucks. The entry is located at the outside, so a bit confusing during the first time. Not too crowded in the morning, nice place to hang out with friends or family over a cup of coffee or frap.

On Malaysia day the place very hot inside like there no AC working...all the tables are dirty and unorganized...Hope they improve it as it is a nicely located branch by the fountain

The first time we bought a drink here. Sooo disappointed.... We ordered a match drink, it had too much matcha and very little milk, felt like drinking grass. I thought they had a standard recipe, we bought the same drink at a different outlet and it tasted nice.. However, here's the very much opposite.. 😮‍💨😕

The baristas (Adi & Ain) are friendly and very nice! The ambience is also nice to do small catch up session with friends or for business

No aircond no fan. Ppl open the door to allow fresh air to come in. Read from other reviews that aircond has been broken for more than 6 months. Would be good if Startbuck management can at least put some fans around. What caused the delay to repair the aircond? Not a comfortable place to sit and enjoy coffee.

Air conditioning has been broken for 6 months according to the staffs... It is to hot and stuffy to dine in. I don't even know how the staff can tolerate. This outlet is located in the 2nd largest Mall in the world and next to Le Meridian hotel.

Worst outlet. Weather is cool outside but is stuffy in this outlet, aircond not working well. Staff never call out the name of customers when orders are ready, unlike other branches. Staf is rude, asked him questions but replied with gestures and not even looking at my face. Org melayu call that takde adab, or kurang hajar!

Staff named WAFIY r so rude to the customers. rolling his eyes, calling name very slow like whispering and getting upset for no reason when customer didnt hear his called. throwing everything into the sink like upset on everything. wht kind of behavior ?

At first this outlet was hard to find, if you’re not familiar with ioi city mall. But just look out for the water fountain, it should be at your right side when exiting outside the mall to the symphony walk. Rather busy outlet but nice place to hangout still. Spacious and you don’t feel cramp here. When ordering iced caramel macchiato, take note that they may upsell more caramel which is making the drink far too sweet for my likings. I was not concentrating so I just said yes since I just heard the word “caramel”. I didn’t quite like tiramisu. Hmm…

Mouth watering and delicious

Quite secluded from the mall itself as entry is located outside the mall. Noise level acceptable, and the ambience is nice. However I would suggest those manning the counter to shout the name properly and without those faux-accent. Plus with weird intonation, makes it hard to get my own name 😂

Polite Starbucksian and cozy environment. Good cleanliness level so it's a good place to chill if you are waiting for movie and don't want to walk around too much since this mall is really huge.

I ordered the dr fazly rice thing but the rice is moist and too soft. Plus, I received a normal latte instead of asian dolce latte, ruined my day.

Consider quite big Starbucks branch with outdoor and indoor seating. Cozy and chill cafe, goes well with the Starbucks benchmark. All the furniture including sofa, coffee table and chairs are well maintained. Coffee taste up to standard. Staffs are friendly. Free coffee waste can be found here, best for home gardening. Love this Starbucks branch!
