Had iftar in here, quite nice place, bbq with seafood, local Malay food and so on. During Ramadan, you have to make the reservation earlier. Staff are friendly and nice. Reasonable price but a bit hard for freshman in here to find the restaurant location. Good visiting experience, recommend to everyone~

Beware of the Dimsum. We take it after the staff switch off the alarm. And we still taste it cool and hard. Lamb slices were not served at the meat area. You need to ask at the back near the ice cream area. The grill part was quite small and I waited so long for the meat to cook well. The plug needs to be serviced since it always shuts down the pot. Overall everything is okay. But I prefer Seoul Garden.

Great place that I never knew existed. The staff is very friendly, the food is fresh and restocked quickly, they have unlimited Abalone and Smoked Duck at no extra charge, ABC and Waffles made on demand. The price is seriously too good for what you can get here. If you love seafood and meat come here. If you love unlimited desserts come here also. But seriously the best part of this place has been the staff. Many places the staff are fake nice, but here they are just genuinely nice. Will definitely come back, sorry I don’t have better pictures I was too busy eating 😅

This outlet was clean and comfortable, food were constantly restocked too. Staffs were all nice, especially one named Imran! He was very attentive and friendly. So many choices here - nasi goreng, nasi lemak, spaghetti, dimsum, snacks and more. You can also order their desserts like ABC and waffle, all for one price. I really like their miang pla pao sauce. Overall, it was worth the price and I had a good experience 😊 I would have given 5 stars if: 1. Thinner meat slices 2. They have sambal kicap

Read this first before you go to Pak John! Was excited to go again since I had great experience in IOI branch in 2019. Really disappointed with the limited choice of food now, slow top up, a lot of dish plates were empty, ran out of ice cream (and they did not replace or refill), got small portions everytime I went and asked for lamb/beef and had to queue for a long time too. They did not have sushi anymore, and they only serve lacklustre/tasteless cendol and some sad looking fruit cocktail with small pieces of watermelon. Fruit available was only watermelon. Limited jam option for waffle and had to queue for few mins to get them. No abalone anymore. Price is comparable with Seoul garden with premium options (beef, different cut of lamb, squids, prawns). Will not go again and will make sure to advocate to friends and family to avoid Pak John.

Many variety of food to choose from. Many choices of soups to choose from curry, chicken soup, and kimchi. Seafood choices are awesome razor clams, crabs and fresh cut dory fillets. Variety of desserts as well ABC, ice cream, waffles, fruit cocktails,cendol and more. The staff’s are friendly and very attentive they always be checking the table if everything is okay at your table. The staff attended our table on the day was Ms. Zai, and she was very friendly and attentive. In short this place is one stop centre if you love food.

First time dining in Pak John’s restaurant. The choices aren’t that bad almost like Seoul Garden but i prefer here than the latter. The service from their staffs are very good and we’re quite happy with this visit :)

If you come here for shabu shabu, you won't get it. If you come for steamboat or grill or dim sum or nak-rasa-sikit-sikit-tapi-macam-macam, this is a place for you. Must try menu/food: Lamb, beef, duck, chicken curry (yeah, unexpected but realy good!), waffle (tip top, I should order it the moment I sit), and minty drinks. Worth the price if you eat a lot, and can try all their foods. Thank you staffs for seating us, refilling the foods, and prepare the waffle and ABC for us.

Food was alright. Lots of variety but it could do with some better service in some aspects. As a buffet it's decently priced if you can eat a lot. However there was a lot of other things that weren't readily served so you had to either know what else they offered or asked. I.e Dim Sum and premium meat was served there but there wasn't much to clue a customer in on that. Just some minor improvements like warning/telling people ahead of time when the restaurant's closing instead of telling them on the spot. Otherwise service was great.

I love the place here, we couldnt get a place inside but outside wasnt hot at all, the atmosphere of the place was very fun and welcoming, the waiters were very helpful. The waiter that was appointed for our table was Imran if i was noy mistaken, very cheerful and helpful with me and my friends. The food here was especially good considering with the price and the buffet concept, i would give this place one of my go to places if i were to go for a buffet dine in with my friends, definitely worth it

Good option if keen to have steamboat (not many restaurants in ioi have this)..plus point for having bbq grill..surprisingly menu has quite an array of selection..and tasty..also has some side dishes such as dimsum, fried rice, waffles, ice cream, abc and variety of hot and cold drinks...also if u come anytime during your birthday month, u get free buffet for one person(condition is to bring 4 adults). Price is reasonable. Would definitely come back

It's ok but not special enough to go back a second time. The menu is basically the same as you might get in any other Malay restaurant; nothing adventurous. Atmosphere was ok, but staff not particularly attentive. Used plates accumulated on the table, but were never cleared. After we paid up front and were seated, it was as if we no longer existed.

Me and my wife always come here at-least once’s a month for the past 3 years. The food is good, a lot of selection. Staff service is good too but always have a room for improvement. Anne is one of the old timer there, she’s good at what she’s doing. Always follow up with customer and have a quick chat. Definitely suggest our friends and families to come here.

Went there for lunch (RM35++) great selection of ingredients. Marinated meat for grill or frozen/veges for the soups. I would really recommend if you guys can get there for dinner (RM50++). Different is they only serve u half from the buffet compare to dinner. At dinner u will experienced full selection such as smoked duck and sliced beef. Highly recommended with a group of family and friends. Reasonable price. 👌👍

Literally my first visit and I am disappointed with myself for not finding this place earlier. The premium option is good because it offers abalone, something I haven’t tried before in my life. The non-premium version is already good enough, the marinade is very good, especially the beef rendang. The flavour is literally like I am eating beef rendang. Compared to S.G, this place is miles ahead. The beef is soft and silky, not at all hard and stringy. The sauce options are also good, I’d personally recommend the thai green chilli sauce because I really love thai flavours. Thanks to the staff named Zai for making me this ABC too..

A steamboat & bbq restaurant with buffet-style side dishes, free flow drinks & free ice cream. There's also a station for dippings where you can choose a variety of dippings to go with your meal. For premium meat need to pay extra. There's a few selection of bases to choose, I tried chicken soup and tomyam base, which were both underwhelming compared to other steamboat places. They're quite diluted, and although they're less salty they're also lacking in umami. I came after lunch hour on a weekday where the buffet section was left with little food. In the seafood/surumi section, sadly there's no lamb. So my best options are seafood (prawn, squid) and rendang beef. I recommend you to try the rendang beef and honey squid for bbq, and the green thai sauce for dipping. The ice cream can be sprinkled with crushed almond, and tastes very nice 👍 To get there, go to 2nd floor of old wing and find the Symphony Walk, once you go through the door, turn left and walk straight until you find Pak John. Fantastic restaurant for steamboat and bbq! They have student & senior prices too which makes it even better. The choices are unlimited and you could literally keep refilling your choices of meat. Topnotch service too, especially from my good man Imran. Seek him and he’ll give you the best service in town!

Overall was alright. It was a pleasant visit and the ambience was very nice since it's weekdays. Do come here on weekdays because most of the food were many. Please add normal chili sauce. Staff was accomodating and normal service was provided. Nothing out if ordinary.

Nice place to have steamboat and grill with friends and family. Our favourite is their marinated beef. So tender and juicy.

Few variations and late to refill. Refill amount also very small thus finish quickly. Not happy.

The worst. I suugest you guys don't go. We went after gov announce dine in is allow. We tot, they will serve buffet as per usual. Unfortunately, they serve u set, and not worthy the price at all. Better eat at sukiya. 100 times better.

Nice ambient and service from Team Pak John especially Ms Rafidah and Ms Faiezah.Variety of food and delicicous especially the marinated beef. The lamb and smoked duck is my favourite.Should repeat and bring more friends here.Keep it up .

We had our family dinner here. Pak Jon manage to arrange us a 14 seat table which is impressive. Food is good and service is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. My first time dining here. Will go here again.

Parking - its located inside the mall so parking is not an issue except during peak hour. The parking fees can find from the mall's official website. Location - Outside center court. Near the water fountain. Restaurant - We came at 3pm for our late lunch. Definately have to pay first before being seated. They are 2 types of price. The normal and premium. Premium one you can eat the abalone and lamb. Their aircond seating area was full that time. We have to seat outside. Not recommended for babies due to hot weather. They only got 1 big fan which is not enough. There are quite number for the selection of grill meat and sauces, 1 type of rice, 1 spagetti, 1 type of malaysian traditional kuih (our visit cekodok jagung), fried fish ball etc, 3 types of dessert, 1 selection of fruit, 2 drinks and 6 types of ice cream available. Near the ice cream corner, there are waffle station which must be requested. The steamboat also got 5 types of soup but we only can choose 1. Price - Affordable. Will come back - Maybe
