Worth the visit when you’re in Seremban.. Entrance was free! The Minangkabau architecture and different houses were well maintained to showcase the unique culture of Negeri Sembilan. Good for an educational outing.

It was very sudden plan to visit as I reach their at 4.45. Closing time was 5PM but I left after 5 and security didn’t rush which make many tourist including myself comfortable. Looks awesome with traditional look of Malaysia and also construction is really awesome which we can see in Sermban logo. I get into the traditional home of Malaysians too which looks so original and heritage. Good spot to spend sometime especially for tourist a variety spot. I enjoyed.

If you have some spare time and curious to find out a little more about N9's history, then this place should feed you with enough information. Set in Minangkabau architecture, you can't miss this landmark as you drive by. Indulge yourself with some fact-finding, especially since this place is air-conditioned and free entrance!

Free entrance and free parking, but the road to the museum had congestion because of the red lights, so I just parked near the mall. Very nice replica of the minangkabau house.

I love museums so of course i give this place a high rating. However I have been to museums around the world including Egypt and Britain and I have to say, Malaysia's museums are highly lacking in the artifacts on display. Perhaps because our houses are wooden so they don't make the test of time? Or perhaps Malaysia is a young country and the people lived simply? Loved going thru the wooden houses though even tho they were empty. Took us 15 minutes to go through the whole exhibit before we went to Abdullah Chan next door.

The location is very strategic, next to is seremban gateway. I like the way how the museum look like with minangkabau style building. The museum is dark at some parts. Some information could be more interesting if they display it in a better manner. Overall a small museum.

The old wooden palaces are interesting. The main museum is pretty dense! Lots of administrative diagrams… Worth a diversion but not a trip :)

Informative and no crowds at all. There are two traditional replica Sultan houses (be careful not to hit your head when entering 😂), historical stones, a train engine and some canons outside of the museum. The top floor of the museum is all about the history of bicycles. I spent about half an hour here.

Clean and air-con rooms, plenty historical stories of wars, so sad Malaysia was colonized. Can see beautiful Malay costumes but now no more. Beautiful crafting on the wooden buildings. Free entrance.

    1. There are actually no surprises in the exhibits in this museum. Instead, they are shaped like the traditional MINANGKABAU house, which is a bit amazing. 2. Why is the house black? No instructions. 3. The gate is very short. If you accidentally hit your head, why is it so short? Was it because people were shorter in the past? 4. The walls and door frames of the house have beautiful carvings, which are very traditional Malay. 5. After walking around on the ground floor, you can roughly understand the origin of Negeri Sembilan. It turns out that ORANG SAKAI was the original aborigine who came to Negeri Sembilan. Don’t use SAKAI as a curse word anymore, it’s disrespectful! 6. The second floor is obviously a parallel import, very similar to the PAMERAN made by the school. It has either photos or long essays. Who is interested in reading it? 7. In Malaysia, after the museum opens, do you plan to change the exhibition format or theme in the future? Or will it continue until it closes?

The architecture of "Minangkabau" heritage is stunning. but the overall experience as traveller to visit a museum is quite boring, too much words is present at the museum. Management should improve on the exhibition to attract new generation with diorama or anything else

If you want to buy a gift, you can buy chocolate nearby. If you are hungry, next to Seremban Gateway, Similar to the rest stop, you can go there to eat and eat, tilt your legs and take a look. Muzium incharge officer was kind enough to give explanation on the muzium lay out and buildings. ( Even posed for a picture with my Sister in Law .....Thank you˜) Had a good time inside the display areas. Would like to suggest one improvement item though : - Entrance door up the wooden stair to model Rumah Negeri Semblian is a bit small and there is a sharp edge on top. - This caused my head to scrath on the sharp edge ( Luckily no blood involved..haha ) - Suggest to install head protection hard sponge to avoid may be old people from hitting their head and causing injury. ** Also put a stop to the water leak at the Toilet External Water Tank.....Muzium can save on water bill ....every cent counts right. Thanks

Nice little town museum , sadly the two out house display of an old malay kamopng house and the old palace is not well maintained, this should be considered as our heritage and we should preserve it, !!!. Millions are just stolen from the koffers but there is no money to preserve our heritage, sad Malaysia.

I'd give any Museum 4 stars any time over a shopping mall. It may not be super exciting but there's always something of interest, something to learn, something to discover. This Museum had a main gallery, then an exhibition on inventions from olden Muslim civilization, Istana and a handmade chocolate shop (Chocvalley, I bought the 50% dark choc with macadamia and I wasnt disappointed, cheaper than other Malaysian choc).

in the museum state negeri sembilan, Instead of presenting a rich culture, we will see only the propaganda presentations of the Malayas (who rule the country). There is no mention of Chinese or Indians in the museum. And yet Malaysians are the three main ethnic groups. Majority of the population, belong to several clearly defined racial groups within the country with their own distinct cultures and traditions: Malays, Orang Asli (aboriginal population), Malaysian Chinese (primarily Han Chinese), Malaysian Indians (primarily Tamils).
