Found a hidden bar inside Pavilion Elite 8th Floor. The environment is amazing as long as you come before 10am. After 10am the music gets loud and DJ will be playing mostly rap songs so you can't really hold any conversations at that point. They serve amazing unique cocktails and all kinds of alcohols. The combination and creativity of each drinks especially cocktails amazes me, the taste is easy to drink and price is reasonable as well, i was given a free vodka after a while by them, very generous of them. One thing that's annoying though most of the waiters are foreigner Banglas can't really understand them and payment Is needed to be made right away after each drinks which is weird.

If it's your first time going, it may be hard to spot at first. But it's a nice touch that the entrance is a little more private from the bustling parts of Pavilion. Got there very early one time, and got to know the staff better. All polite, all well-mannered and helpful. Had a friend who lost a phone and the security who found it was going table to table to ask if anyone lost their phone. Restrooms were clean throughout the night and the place was overall safe and comfortable to be in. For me, it was the music before the DJ that stuck 😂 Recommended place to go, nonetheless!

Most expensive beer I've ever bought (just under RM 90 / USD 20 / GBP 16 for 2 pints during "happy hour"?!). Friendly staff, good music (actually enhanced by bartender chatting on the phone), nice decor. This lounge may be the coldest room in the Malay Peninsula, and the beer was served frosty (and poured expertly). Perfect for a hot day in KL.

BAD SERVICE AND BAD DRINKS We reserved a table for 4 around 9pm during their Ladies Night. The manager or customer service never represented to us that the reservation was only for a short amount of time only beforehand. Around 11 something, the bar got more crowded and a staff informed us that the table was reserved for someone else. I was not told that the table reservation was for a specific number of hours only!!!! We basically just got scammed into leaving our reserved table and had to stand for the rest of the night. The place became more crowded. There were more people at the drinks area and we were forced to the corner. Another staff just came and told us to not block the road????? We rightfully reserved our table which were then chased away by your own staff and now we were not even allowed to stand in the bar! Their staff's attitude just ruined the night and we left immediately. One a side note, the free drinks finished around 10ish or around 11pm. Their specialty cocktails were watered down and tasted like cough syrup. Nonetheless, the interior decoration and ambiance are nice. I do not feel welcomed here and would not recommend visiting here.

Afronight Sunday at Saro was the best ever!!!!!!! If I lived in KL, I would always be there every Sunday night to have some African happy vibes. Thank you

To be fair: I love the Music, the Bassy sound system & unique interior design. Price is same as any other night club nearby. But the main reason that I only give 1 star here are the attitude of staffs & poor management here.

1. It’s a rather hidden bar. “Destination location”. 2. Ordered “deep fried sea bass on skewers” and came cheap fish fillet with fries!!! 3. Connors tasted stale. Cocktail too sweet (presentation on point though). It’s a pity as live band and decor is nice.

I went there on Christmas Eve with my girls. The ambience is nice and good music. The vibe is kinda dead to us but maybe bcs we came a bit early around 9 till 11 pm. Plus, it was so hard to talk since the music was super loud. I lost my voice the next day. We ordered beers and snacks, unfortunately our food didn't arrive until the third time we ordered it. The first order came but it was wrong. However, it has been covered by the house. Our second snack was beef bacon thingy, it was delicious but oilyyyy. The staff are friendly.

Saro Lounge is a wonderful change of scenery from clubs such as Kyo. The size of the lounge itself is not large making it that much more exclusive and cozy. The music is mainly R&B which is good for dancing too. The drinks are not too pricey but definitely above average in terms of price. The overall ambience is quite good especially if you go with the right people. Parking is not much of an issue especially if you’re willing to spend RM35 to pay for valet parking at the Grand Millennium hotel next door.

Nice places, access via pavilion elite elevators. Reasonablynpriced, nice decor it makes you feel like youre in some sort of a jungle oasis. But thebmusic is loud,not so much like a bar but almost akin to a club.

Situated at pavilion elite, 8th floor. Advisable to get grab to location, grab will drop off right in front of pavilion elite, saro entrance. Take the lift right in front of the entrance to 8th floor. Good ambience, love the jungle theme. DJ is good, music is good, we went there for ladies outings and dance the whole night long. Crowd is ok, not dodgy. Need to order 3 bottles for table booking, price is standard KL price, a bit on the pricier side. Finger food is okay-ish. Summary, it was a good night out with the girls.

-Before we decided to leave, the staff promised to allow more seats, but after we order the manager refused to give extra seat. Argued that the staff is foreign worker doesn’t familiar with the floor. -Pax of twelve was given two tiny coffee table only (while the group ordered 5 bottles of liquor, and we did pre-book) -Poor service, manager keep fooling us to add seat and table but never happens -Staff keep pushing us on the pack dance floor trying to protect the DJ station, even though we were not that near to the DJ station and conscious. -Very bad experience, club only want to maximise their profit without providing proper service to customers.

Only had one of their specialty cocktails. Was RM38 but RM45 after tax, which is a lot. I'm a lightweight, so usually one drink would do the job. But, the drinks here were terrible, mostly sugar and no alcohol. My friend spent almost RM100 on two drinks, including a vodka, which was horrible as well. Did not taste good at all and honestly the bartender looked clueless the whole night. Ambience was okay, music was pretty good but the drinks ruined my night. Would definitely not come back for the drinks and would not pay that much for some watered down sugary 'cocktails'.

Came knowing that it was a place primarily for drinks. For its location, they had pretty good deals for happy hour that's until 10pm on weekdays and until 8pm on weekends. Off the top of my head, 3 pints of Asahi RM60++, wines 1 for 1 at RM25++ or RM28++. Cocktails are RM38 to RM45 and 1 for 1 available during Happy Hour. The ambience was cool, mysterious and exclusive. Maybe we were early so there weren't many people. I'd say this place is better for groups. What didn't go so well? Ordered the Pesto Pasta with soft shell crab and it tasted bad. The chef had his or hew own take and added herb combinations that didn't go well. Soft shell crab was really salty and I bit into small pebbles. I really don't like wasting food but couldn't finish it. Friend who ordered the same shared the same sentiments. If you're going, just stick with the drinks.

Visited Saro for the first time recently. The place has cool decor, and the music is nice too! However, that being said, all of us at the table agreed that the cocktail my friend ordered (long island), one of their many expensive cocktails, was just too watered down/sweetened, and felt cheated by the bar. Please do better with your cocktails if customers have to pay that much for it.

A rather hidden bar at the top of pavillion elite. They have a variety of cocktails, but I find them rather sweet. Asked for a stronger drink on my second order, yet still quite sweet and even has undissolved sugar at the bottom. My friend's classic gin n tonic was nice though. Would recommend to have classic drinks here. Nice lighting and music was good with DJ.

Well the atmosphere was very nice. I went during happy hours where you get to enjoy buy 1 free 2 drinks. It abit empty went I went. But I saw table booking after 10pm so if you want to party and enjoy better to go after 10pm. We ordered salted popcorn chicken, but the portion was really small and less. Apart from that everything was ok.

Love the ambiance...music is good...they got cool DJ spinning really good music. However, the waiter/bartender is quite pushy to keep asking you to open bottle and make sure you open up to the quota for the table. Keep bugging until we feel annoyed and just gotta ditch the idea to visit this place again.

Sadly after covid only few stalls left, the 2nd floor is almost empty. Good luck for the remaining seller here ! Price wise maybe the price is expensive for south east asian traveller. Tapi murah lah bagi mat salleh tu.. mungkin diaorang nak easy money rampas dekat mat salleh je

I couldn't try the food or see the atmosphere as the concierge refused to show us the lounge. The place was completely empty inside, and he wanted to know how long we were planning to stay before deciding whether it was worth letting us in or not.

Love the music, they played old-school R&B on Thursday night. But the service was bad, the Bangla keep pouring the wine for you, and take the glass asking u to drink while we were having a conversation 🙄. Kena force pulak, just because they want us to open another bottle.

Drinks and food are good and reasonably priced. DJ chooses a great music selection. Toilets are clean and easy to access. Can be a little hard to find if it’s the first time going there, and the place is a little small. The crowd picks up around midnight so if you’re going there to dance and don’t want to be too close to others, best to go around 10.30-11.00pm. Overall, a good place for drinks and dancing.

Very nice after-work place. Feels definitely high class but the happy hours are unbelievably priced. It's nicely tucked and hidden away in upscale pavilion. Very recommended to visit!

Cool place, nice vibes. It's a fun club with upper middle class groups. You might bump into a few young university students there, but more likely, you'll find working adults who know how to party. The drinks are slightly above average when it comes to pricing.

It is a small space within Pavilion Elite located on level 8 which is more of a bar than anything else. You can consider it to be a lounge as it has these nooks where you can have a quiet drink with friends after hour. However as I came here as a place for post Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2019 final show the crowd spilled into the corridor and it was rocking!
