Terrible hostel. Firstly, the room is dirty, there was an old chewing gum on my bed, a moldy apple under the lockers and so much dirt and dust that there were ants on the floor… these ants made it into my bed and I didn’t realise til the next morning that I’d be sleeping in a bed of ants since I came in late and kept the lights off. Secondly, the security in this hostel is non-existent. We booked a 10 bed female dorm and both nights men entered the room looking for a bed and possessed a key, one possessed a key for the same bed my friend occupied. Furthermore, you can hardly get in touch with reception, there was hardly ever someone on reception and they did not answer the phone. The facilities are bad. There is no shower outside of the dorm rooms, which is terrible for hostel rooms containing 16 people. No actual locker storage space which would be okay if there was a receptionist ever or security. Each bed is top to toe and no space between them and they could’ve easily put curtains. The beds are cheap and wobble and creak. The streets are very noisy and there is no air con. I saw an earlier review where the owner responded to someone else saying this and said the streets aren’t noisy and there is air con. But I can confirm that there was definitely no air con in our room, even if there was there was no one there to tell us how to use it and the streets are certainly noisy. Lastly, the hostel seems like a huge scam. They cancelled my friends reservation less than 12 hours before and then made her pay an increased price when we arrived, due to a festival in Sevilla (which no one in the hostel had heard of or went to). They also charged my card before I got to the hostel which is not their policy and should not have happened. If I could give it zero stars i would… you will have an awful experience, this is the worst hostel I’ve stayed in by far and I say this having paid the same price and less for much better. I also think, having looked at other reviews, the owners should put some work into the hostel instead of working so hard on their ridiculous, rude and dismissive responses to people’s concerns.

DO NOT BOOK - SCAM AND SECURITY ISSUE If I could put 0 stars I would. They canceled my reservation 12 hours before I checked in due to an error on their side. Apparently, hostel world listed more beds than they actually had and had to cancel some reservations but when I arrived there were still beds available but at a much higher price. It honestly felt like a scam. I was not even allowed to talk to the boss because he does not let the hostel staff give out his number, and no one ever reached out after my multiple attempts of contact. Oh, and they don’t want to give me my first booking deposit back. As this happened extremely last minute every other place was booked and I had no choice but to make a new reservation with them. I won’t even start to talk about their facilities but they were terrible. The hostel is basically just a front door with rooms. My friend had ants all over her bed. There was an extreme lack of security as 2 guys entered our FEMALE ONLY dorm in the middle of the night in search of a free bed. They somehow were able to find a room card for our dorm and woke everyone up. The exact same thing happened the next day at 8 am, but the man that came in was not even staying at the hostel. There is never anyone at reception so anyone can come in, take a room key and enter the dorms. This place should honestly close. I’ve been to a multitude of hostels before and nothing like this has ever happened to me.

Location was great but the air conditioning wasn’t working in the middle of a heatwave and we have to talk to multiple people and wait hour’s before we were moved into a room where it was working. Kitchen was good, shower pressure was bad and there were ants everywhere but clean enough other than that. Edit: We asked 3 times about the air conditioning and were told multiple times it was working but it wasn’t. We were first told there was no other room we could move to and we asked for a refund (keep in mind it was only about €10 each a night) so we could find another place. We chose that hostel specifically with air conditioning. They wouldn’t give us a refund but after 5 hours of back and forth they moved us into a different room, apologies to the people who were swapped to the room with no air conditioning.

The room was good and the price was fantastic and the kitchen was nice. However, the hostel is dirty so I didn't feel very comfortable. During the night a man (drunk) was knocking on the door for a long time. I didn't feel safe, and we didn't have any number to call. I stayed in a female dormitory and the man at reception came into the room twice (once I was getting dressed). The shower doesn't have enough pressure. For those who are traveling on a budget it is an option (although not the best option).

The hostel the next days didnt toss him out, and just took 0 responsibility or action for him, and he continued staying in a dorm. Other than that, the owner was reading out loud bad reviews and laughing at them right in the center of the hostel, in front of us. That is how much he cares & respects his clients -and yes, I know I will get an answer that its a fake review, but obviously its not and these things everybody know they happened-

Highly recommended for someone who has nothing worth stolen, has full-indemnity insurance or better still, someone looking for an opportunity to steal. Also highly recommended for people who wants to practice compassion by experiencing what living in a slum feels like ( bedbugs, mold, unsanitary living quarter, filthy bathroom, ants everywhere, lack of ventilation, crowded space..... ) Not to mention the threatening behaviour from the management had it not gone his way which certainly will make you well-prepared for any future adversity in life. Want a real-life lesson to build up a strong character ? You've come to the right place and it's free!! You don't need to become a monk or a nun to vow yourself ( a lifetime ) to poverty, compassion and bravery. Come here then you can make up your mind later. For the above reasons alone, I gave it 5 star !! This hostel was in a great location with nice people and seemed quite sociable. The kitchen was good but there were ants everywhere. The rooms were nice but extremely hot and the shower didn’t drain. There was nobody at the front desk so we couldn’t get towels or ask questions. We didn’t know where to leave our bags once we checked out.

the hostel is great overall. it was a great stay. for some reason it's not really social hostel, may be because there is not such a great common area. beds are comfortable, pillows and sheets are nice too. there is air conditioning in room which was really nice but sometimes it wasn't turned on. there are two quite spacious pleasant bathrooms in each room. apparently you need to pay extra 1-2 euro for being able to lock your locker securely (these wooden lockers under beds were quite old and some of them were damaged but it still is fine to use. there are no curtains for privacy on beds but I don't think it's a problem. about the kitchen. they have a big fridge but it's occupied most of the time. some guests don't really clean the kitchen after themselves but workers are trying their best to keep it clean. I would suggest to change the table they have on a new one or to clean very carefully between the cracks because there are always some food crumbs which can smell:( and also to fix it so the table is more stable and doesn't wobble. when I came earlier than there was the check-in time, the woman at the reception still allowed me to use kitchen to cook. the location is really nice for going to supermarkets and it's nearby Alameda de Hércules which is one of the most living streets. there is also access to bicycles and to the river. I enjoyed my stay and definitely would come again💚

After reading the reviews before reaching the place, I was concerned about the cleanliness and safety of the hostel, but after personal experience I am very satisfied. The room and bathroom were clean, there were lockers, the staff was very polite and helpful, I felt safe and the price was low. The hostel met all my needs. :)

The stay itself, beds aircon and cleanliness was great. The short blonde girl at the front desk was horrible, constantly shooshing all the people who were staying to be quiet even though on their website there’s no curfew. Threatened to call the police because we were laughing and talking at around 10pm. As soon as we arrived she seemed very rude and not attentive at all. Looked like she hated being there.

The hostel doesn't provide anything special, however it has been one of the best hostel experiences for me personally. The cleaning was done daily which was amazing. Also, it sort of has a homey feel to it which is rare to have in hostels. The receptions though is not there until the afternoon, so no early check-ins or assistance with luggage. Also, they have lockers, but don't have locks.

This hostel was not great for us. There is one shower for 8 people, along with the two people who worked at the hostel. They would come in and out to shower and get different things they stored in the room. The toilet was also broke so we had to use the public bathroom. Also, there was no lock on our bathroom. It was extremely loud as well.

Hub hostel is convenient and minimalistic. Common space and rooms are pretty bare but adequate for a quiet hostel to eat a meal and sleep through the night. Staff is nice and things are new as the hostel was open just two months ago. Althought I had a bad experience here and I wouldn't go back for sure. Practical furniture is missing, bathroom is not comfortable there's nothing to hang towel, soaps, toilet paper... One kitchen with no toaster, the fridge so small, individual lights at bed are too strong and decoration is nonexistent. Breakfast didnt have any alternative milk and the one they had was off like yogurt, again no toaster and also no butter. Dinner option was also very poor. It was so cold during nights and they didnt have blankets. Staff is nice though most volunteers who dont know much. The good thing is also the location, near bus station and not too far from centre

It was clean and perfect and safe and friendly staff and everything was good. But i am so sorry i forgot and took the lock of the locker with me and I can’t get it back ir pay for it since i live far, so is it okay with you?
