I recently had the pleasure of visiting Yenwa Gallery, and I must say it was a truly enchanting experience. The gallery's ambiance is a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and a serene atmosphere, making it a haven for art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The first thing that struck me was the spaciousness of the gallery. The open layout allowed each artwork to breathe, and I didn't feel crowded as I strolled through the exhibits. This spaciousness added a sense of calm and allowed me to fully immerse myself in the art on display. The collection at Yenwa Gallery is nothing short of stunning. The carefully curated pieces span various mediums and styles, from contemporary paintings to intricate sculptures. The variety ensures there's something to captivate every taste and preference. What truly stood out was the attention to detail in the curation and the way the art was illuminated. Each piece was showcased with precision, and the lighting accentuated the nuances of the artwork, creating a mesmerizing visual experience. Overall, Yenwa Gallery is a beautiful and spacious sanctuary for art lovers. It offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, allowing you to connect with art on a profound level. Whether you're a seasoned art connoisseur or just looking for a serene space to appreciate creativity, Yenwa Gallery is an absolute gem.

The YENWA Gallery is a mini cultural Mecca in the heart of Lagos. Nestled here, are engaging pieces of contemporary art that will thrill, inform and entertain the senses. Ugonna, the founder and curator has done a thoroughly awesome job of creating an uber-cool space where contemporary art can be showcased, examined, curated and celebrated. Are you looking for a place to unwind and take in another kind of ‘air’ then YENWA should be your next stop. YENWA is a showcase of black excellence in Africa.

It’s been on my visit list for the longest and I was finally happy to tick it off. If you are an art lover looking to explore art in Lagos then you should totally check out this gallery. I thoroughly enjoyed the art exhibition. It had be feeling nostalgic as I walked through in. It feel like I was a teenager again visiting my hairdresser’s salon. Each piece on display had a unique story and I loved how I was able to connect with them. You should definitely check it out.

I think it's a wonderful and compact space to have art and share art. And there's another gallery two blocks away, so it's a cool street for me.
