A very authentic hotel with large areas and comfortable rooms. there are several swimming pools, an amazing spa complex, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed in a new building with new rooms and a swimming pool. has its own swimming pool and terraces with a dining area. The hotel staff is very caring and attentive. We were driven from the reception to our room in a buggy. I am delighted with my stay at this hotel! I will recommend it to my friends!

Our experience at The Chedi Al Bait has been the best ever. We travel all over the world and this hotel has been incredible in every way! I would recommend it to anyone I know. The prices are very fair, the food is incredible, the pool area is very nice and clean as well as the on-site gym (Sam is very helpful and friendly). I LOVE this hotel. The best part of all is that the entire staff treats you as if you are part of their family. It makes all the difference and the service is better than a Four Seasons. I will recommend the Chedi to anyone and everyone! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t stay at this wonderful place.

We stayed there over the weekend in September with our 10 month old baby. It was our 5y anniversary and we had high expectations. This was by far the most beautiful hotel experience we have ever had! The style is so different and there are many comfy outdoor seating corners and nooks to explore that we just could have stayed in for the entire two days! Also, the hotel is connected to the souks and it is a part of Heart of Sharjah, so even with the persistent heat we were still able enjoy it. The four post king size bed was the most comfortable and it is the first time our baby has slept through the night 😁 I wish this was sponsored... It's not, but we really had the best night in Chedi since she was born 😅 Our room had a patio, which is unnecessary in the summer time, but would be great during the outdoor season. We tried the Nomani restaurant and loved the dish with seabream and rice. It was all five star! Now on to the staff - just perfect balance of nice service and privacy. Often times in the 🇦🇪 I witnessed the service fighting for reviews, which is understandable, but it results with many knocks on the door or just too much of intrusion. Here there was none of that, no personal notes, just the utmost kindness of every staff member and the BEST actual service. In the room there was a baby bottle sterilizer, milk warmer and diaper trash can just like home, although we asked for none of it in advance. Complementary home made granola bars and chilled bottles of water are a lovely touch. And this was the first time in my experience that the turn down service just made so much sese! The room was all ready for a good night's sleep, including the baby's crib that was also set up like a grown up bed, ready for tucking in, and we really felt like being at our second home! The only minus for some people could be the small pool - if you want to go to the pool or beach, go somewhere else. If you want to relax and marvel the beautiful antique design, this hotel should be on your go-to list regardless of Sharjah. We will definitely be back!!

First lets start with the setting. Imagine you are in a luxury Riyad in old town Marrakesh with charming narrow alleys that open up on peaceful patios with water flowing from a fountain while a majestic tree invites you to sit down, relax and loose yourself in reading or meditation. Then there is the staff. Always discreet, competent and charming. They are sincerely dedicated to making your stay as smooth as possible. Then there is the restaurant where breakfast is a memorable experience. They’ll get you anything. Just name it. The menu for lunch and dinner is rich with a vast choice of fish and meat, pasta, couscous or burgers with one big caveat though : no alcohol. The kids are welcome and will be well taken care of. For those who like Asian cuisine, there is the No mani restaurant which serves Japanese and Korean food and which can rival with the best restaurants of the genre. The gym is well equipped and quiet while sauna and hammam are kept clean at all times and Spas are staffed by qualified Personnel. One special mention for Mr Rabii the desk manager who has been a wonderful host always ready to help. The rooms are huge and well equipped especially the bedding and sheets which are changed on a daily basis. On the entertainment side, a good tv and soundbar ensure high quality viewing and sound although a Netflix subscription would be welcome. We went to the nearby beach courtesy the hotel’s limo which dropped us and picked us at no extra charge. We will certainly come back to the Chedi Al Bayt Sharjah and warmly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel, rooms looked great, plenty of smaller shops around. Negative is that, they Skipped room cleaning a couple of times. Room service option after hours was very limited and they did not offered closed bottled water. So it lacked a lot of 5 star hotel qualities. Overall for the price is was a good experience, staff was friendly as well.

I was debating writing a review, but I think it’s important for management to know our experience. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon a few months ago (we made a note to tell the hotel this when we booked). We stayed for one week. We wanted a luxury hotel in Sharjah (we do not drink so Sharjah is ideal) and I found this one looked best after searching online. I have positives and negatives to mention: +The hotel was very beautiful, we loved the style and decor. +The housekeeping was excellent when we needed them and they refreshed drinks and snacks daily in our room. +Everything was very clean, comfortable and it was very quiet at night. We loved that. Here are the negatives for us: -The hotel was literally empty many nights… we were actually the only guests some nights there. So for this reason you would think we would get extra special treatment, but we did not. The opposite unfortunately… There was no one on valet service some days. We ended up being our own valet for half of the stay. For a 5 star Leading hotel of the world… this should not happen. Especially when every hotel in Dubai includes complimentary valet. We also went to the front desk a couple of times to ask a question, but couldn’t find anyone. It really felt no one cared about us as guests there. - As I mentioned, we were on our honeymoon. A luxury hotel should make that special for the couple. Unfortunately, we did not get anything special at all. On top of this, we didn’t get any kind of room upgrade. And again, the hotel was completely empty of guests besides us some nights. And other nights there were maybe a couple other reservations there at most. We booked a nice room but it’s very disappointing we didn’t get an upgrade, especially since the hotel was truly vacant. -Lastly, and not as big of an issue as the other points, the breakfast. The breakfast was included. We had the same waiter everyday and he was very good and professional. My husband and I appreciate a nice breakfast and look forward to enjoying it at luxury hotels. Honestly, It was quite average. Not bad and not amazing. But after a few days of it my husband wanted to eat outside the hotel because he didn’t love the breakfast. I concurred. So that was disappointing. We truly wanted to love Chedi Al bait and hoped we would make it our spot to stay when we return to UAE, especially since we love Sharjah. But honestly the service is truly lacking and doesn’t seem up to par with the other Leading Hotels of the World.

Unique hotel with best class amenities that has very peaceful and calm vibes! We were travelling with our young baby who was 11m at the time and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Special mention to the restaurant staff and chef who prepared special meals for our son and were so attentive to him. The food served in room and at the restaurant for all meals were fresh and full of authentic flavours. The room was spacious and the staff also accommodated our Special requests regarding baby food and crib that made our stay feel like we were just at home 🥰

Always a pleasant stay from arrival until departure. The staff are warm and welcome you home. The property is so peaceful. They only have a small pool and spa both of which need to be booked. They also have a gym, a cafe and a few restaurants as well as a library and games room and museum. This old fort used to belong to a local family before it was turned into a hotel. The lifeguard at the pool will spoil you the longer you stay there. I’m in love with the pebbles floors in the shower and the rustic room design. The snacks upon arrival plus museli bar and free water add all the finishing touches to a lovely stay.

We booked this hotel as a family for a short stopover; we were also given an early check in on request. What can I say, this is without a doubt one of the best five star hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms and the whole complex are lovingly designed, full of amenities, everything is very clean. The service is perfect and incredibly friendly. The rooms are made up again for the evening in the late afternoon, there is a free minibar with water and small welcome snacks. One feels very welcome here. The breakfast is legendary. Sharjah (is its own emirate) is easy to get to from the airport and the center of Dubai is not that far away either. So, all in all an interesting alternative to the mass hotels in Dubai and from our side a clear recommendation. Price-performance ratio is extremely good, i.e. for the luxury you get here you would actually have to pay much more.

We LOVED our visit! Patrick and everyone at the front desk/staff were incredibly helpful. They connected us with tour guide, Fatima, who arranged all our visits to museums, heritage site and mosque. Dates and apricots waiting in our room. This hotel is a serene setting with winding open-air passages and courtyards. Feels very private and tranquil. Highly recommend.

The Chedi al bait" an impressive diamond in the "Heart of Sharjah". Very stylish rooms in a very historical ambience. A very well-kept and absolute oasis of calm, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. From the reception to the farewell, one had the feeling of indescribable hospitality and appreciation. All employees love their job, you can tell that at any time. The cleanliness and uniqueness of the facility make the place something very special. The food in the various restaurants within the complex has always been excellent. We are happy to have found this unique place and to be able to enjoy the absolute hospitality.

Breakfasts was personalized and a perfect start into the day. Great gym and super granola bars :D I would like to take this opportunity to point out the employee at the pool (unfortunately I have forgotten the name), this was perfect service!

This is a gem that not everyone have discovered. It’s an amazing place in Sharjah, the hotel ambiance feels like home. The breakfast food is excellent, they satisfy every craving of one’s palate. The serving is generous, the staff are welcoming, friendly, attentive and ready to be of service. The hotel rooms are spacious and unique. It doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a hotel instead it makes you feel like you are indeed a guest in some local residence with high-end service. The amenities and service in this hotel are satisfying. It’s history is interesting, the location is relaxing and near to amusement - museums, shops, cafés and it’s not far of a drive or travel to Dubai City, and Ajman. Importantly, the staff are honest. I unknowingly lost my earring there and the staff who cleaned our room found it and they tracked my husband to inform us about it. They accounted even the plastic toy my kids left on purpose. It was such an amazing family experience.

We stayed  a few nights at The Chedi Al Bait in November 2021, and what a wonderful experience it was. We have stayed at numerous 5 star hotels around the world and the Chedi comes easily in a top 3 position (probably the best when it comes to value for money). This is a true haven of peace and tranquility in the middle of Sharjah, the staff, the rooms, the atmosphere, the restaurants... everything was fabulous. The traditional architecture of the hotel offers a true experience of the UAE culture, with its traditional buildings, restaurants and even its own museum. The breakfast was exquisite, and we have tried the Arabic restaurant which was very good as well. The rooms were wonderful, huge & perfectly decorated, and the very friendly  & available staff really makes you feel at home (special mention to Patrick and Rabi, thank you). The hotel is located next to a Souk, art foundation and museums (ask the staff for a map of the surroundings, there's a lot of interesting things to experience). We will definitely come back

Very beautiful hotel, with a traditional vibe. It's perfect to rest and get some time for yourself. The place is very quit. It's big, but because it looks like a maze, it doesn't seem like it. It never felt crowded. The staff is amazing, they deliver a very high level of service with a lot a small details and attention that make the difference. We were welcomed by mocktails and the very nice Rabi, who gave us a little tour of the beautiful hotel. Sam, who takes care of the pool always greeted us with some towels, water & home made ice-creams. I had a driver available within 10 minutes every time I wanted to go to the private beach. Everybody was amazing, and that's what makes this place so special. My room was beautiful, big & very clean. The food was great and they have vegan options. Room service 24/7 on top of everything. This is a real 5 stars hotel. I would like to thank the amazing staff once again for their service, I can't wait to come back! (Angela from Belgium)

Exceptional hotel - it was one of the best experiences we had during our different visits in Middle East. From the begging we felt like at home. The hotel is kept in the boutique style, having around 50 outstanding rooms. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. We definitely recommend it, and would come back whenever possible!

Chedi is a lovely place to visit, it's a heritage hotel. I like it when they all say "welcome home". It makes me feel at home. They also put into consideration your food allergies and serve you accordingly. Services is great, staff are friendly. Pool requires booking in other to access. The place is like a Maze so getting lost is understandable. They've got a museum and library. I didn't try their facilities because I busy 🤦‍♀️ but my friend did and she loved it. She said they've got a jacuzzi, Sauna etc. And she was served mango ice cream for free. Checkout was good as well. Dinner and breakfast wasn't the best because I've had better. But y'all should try it because we've got different taste buds. It's a 90/100 for me.

Such an amazing hotel for a weekend getaway. I went with my family and we stayed in the Khalid Ibrahim house and we had a buggy on call, if we were going to the lobby or if we are going to the breakfast. Everything was amazing. If you have kids I would be wary because there are swimming pools all around and can be dangerous if you take your eyes of them. However everything was amazing, the utilities and the rooms were superb and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone:

Amazing welcoming experience, they also listened to my request as we are celebrating our anniversary, we had a super great service, everyone greets you with a smile. The room is spacious and clean. The place is quiet where you can just relax and unwind. Had a fun interaction with Sam in the pool as well and the extra services they offer with us is commendable. Overall 10/10 we had a very pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable stay!!

Great hotel with an amazing ambience. The staff were extremely friendly. The valet / concierge could be improved. They were mostly unavailable and I accommodating at times, but that could also be due to the hot summer. Our shower had some left overy strands of hair during check in. Apart from that it was a great stay for my parents and the staff were very friendly. Special shout-out to the restaurant with great food.

It was lovely visiting The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. Everything is just perfect, from the decor to the people who greet you with a welcoming smile, the food options, ambiance and the five-star service. Special thanks to Chef Ali, Emad and his team at The Restaurant, and Patrick from the front office. Truly a world-class heritage hotel!

I had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel, and I must say, the staff and valet service were simply outstanding. The level of attentiveness and courtesy from the staff members was beyond compare. The valet service was incredibly efficient and made our stay even more convenient. In addition to the top-notch service, the management at this hotel is commendable. The reception was always well-informed and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We never encountered any overcharging or issues with the billing; everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and transparency. Furthermore, the guest services were prompt and efficient in fulfilling our requests. The amenities were exceptional, and this hotel truly sets a high standard. I can confidently say that this is one of the best properties we've ever experienced, and I highly recommend it for an exquisite and hassle-free stay.

Me and my wife stayed at your hotel for 4 days in the second half in September. We liked everything. The design, the atmosphere, the history of the place itself. Especially we liked the library. This place was the perfect place for me and my girlfriend to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. Christy, Soufiane and Yasin were super welcoming when we arrived, they were also nice enough to give us an upgrade to a suite with a late checkout which made our weekend even more special. The overall service at this place was exquisite, they were always available to help and assist, I would like to also highlight Rob the waiter who took great care of us throughout the stay. I highly recommend The Chedi Al Bait, as it's peaceful and great value for money. The pool, private jaccuzi at the suite and the food were all up to the standard.

A haven of tranquillity and good taste amidst the beautiful "Heart of Sharjah" district - a real treat and the perfect antidote for body and soul to neighbouring Dubai. The service was faultless, the breakfast was superb and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced! Thank you all.

Their rooms smell like mold. Avoid this place. I was excited to check in to this hotel, it's an interesting looking hotel, however, when we got to the room, it smelled like mold. I asked to see several other rooms and they smelled like mold as well. I guess they keep them dark, like a cave. I didn't expect this at this price. Also, the location is not good, far from tourist attractions. One hour from Sharjah to Dubai or the airport, when there is traffic. I decided I want to cancel my booking when I got there and saw the rooms. One of the people at the front desk initially said they are ok with cancellation but I have to contact Expedia (thinking Expedia will say no). I contacted Expedia and they said they will process the refund, just need ok from hotel, then that same guy from the front desk started yelling at me and telling me it's non refundable and he can't do anything... Poor service. He said his name was Abi. Overall pretty dissatisfied with the Shed-di.

Love this place.I will be coming back . Al bait lives up to the chedi name be impeccable service, thoughtful design and delicious food. This is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels in the UAE . Located in the heart of historic Sharjah , you must stay in this hotel if you are looking to explore the city further or just want an authentic Emirati experience. The hotel itself includes a mini museam and library as well as numerous majilis / seating areas throughout the premises. Sam at the pool and the team were absolute rockstars _ they helped in every aspect of my stay , from a super personalized welcome to providing guidance on places to visit. They really made us feel at home . I will certainly be back for a staycation

Hidden gem in Sharjah!!!! Booked for a party of 7 collegues (+ a baby) Service was top notch, rooms were way above our expectations. The entire team were so kind and accommodating. A baby bottle sanizer, baby cot and diaper genie was also provided for me and baby when we arrived. Breakfast was also tasteful and catered to every preference (Arabic, vegetarian, Indian and American options) I will definitely return again, and will book a longer stay next time.

Our favorite quiet spot. Being a mixed race couple, there are so few places in Sharjah we feel comfortable to sit without being watched. We even like the maze like walkways to navigate around. This is a perfect place for us, we go there regularly. Although it isn't on the menu, every time they say they will ask the chef and so far they never disappointed us. Great

Pros - overall good experience if you like the concept Cons - one single issue completely destroyed my day and all positive impression about this hotel. I was not given a discount in a hotel restaurant as surprisingly noticed next day that I’m eligible for 20% off. Was asking front desk to support while checking-out on Mar 26th but staff member pushed back saying that its not hotel’s responsibility as they not managing discounts, but restaurants does. Was asking again (as I’m managing loyalty programs for many years and understand each party responsibilities) and he was convinced to call the restaurant. He spoken briefly with someone on a phone and come back to me again saying that Its not possible. He didn’t accept any other arguments and rudely cut me off by switching to other things. Surprisingly, restaurant manager showed up and immediately sort this hot by giving me cash back. She was very professional and handled this smoothly. Message to the management - 1. That’s absolutely hotel’s responsibility to manage partnerships and customer complaints, related to the partnerships 2. Person like I’ve spoken to yesterday (26 March - checking out, male employee, front desk) not suppose to work with customers as he destroying your brand and loosing loyal customers who never recommend you to others. Should be better role for this individual in your organisation.

Incredible stay, with one of the most serene and relaxing spa like atmospheres you'll find in any hotel in sharjah! A desert oasis with friendly staff. A special mention to Krystal who went above and beyond to accommodate a very early arrival and check in during a crowded conference weekend. The gym and spa/pool facilities were clean and well maintained/staffed. The breakfast was incredible and the restaurant staff were very generous in accommodating our specific orders. Extra points for a-la-carte breakfast!

We've been lucky enough to stay at some exceptional hotels and many of them greet you with, 'Welcome home.' The Chedi in Sharjah is one of the very few where it feels sincere, and that's why we keep returning. The service throughout all areas of the hotel is exceptional - and is far superior to some so-called seven star hotels. And it appears effortless. This makes for a seamless, stress-free experience. The rooms are very comfortable and food options are good. The hotel itself is atmospheric and charming - particularly at night. This is real luxury and worth every dhiram.

I first visited Sharjah for the art biennial in 2019, and came across this hotel as it is very close to many of the exhibition spaces. It looked so beautiful that I made a mental note to stay here for my next trip and I was incredibly happy I did. I was here again for the biennial, and the location was ideal for being able to get to many spots on foot. The hotel itself is an oasis...incredibly peaceful beauty, and very impressive amenities such as the library and museum. There are courtyards for all buildings with a very inviting majlis (lounge) that extends your dwelling space even though the rooms are so generous. The decor and furnishings are also so beautiful, contributing to that feeling of serenity. The staff are the best -- super warm and take great pride in their work. Also, you see the same faces daily which adds to the sense of being home. I really enjoyed the incredible breakfasts (I miss them) and ate my dinners at NoMaNi, the only japanese/korean cuisine to be had in Sharjah as I understand. The setting, under the stars is a total dream. Thank you for a very memorable experience. I hope to be back again.

Hands down the best staycation I have been to. Right from the reservation with Ms. Jaira till the check out with Nur Ju everything was a smooth process. As you wait to check in, they serve you with a delicious refreshing drink and guide us to our room. The room was spacious and clean with beautiful heritage interiors. The pool was very peaceful although small but we had a great time. They served us with Popsicle which my son loved and refreshments during this summer heat. The breakfast spread was a la carte with a wide variety to choose from. Overall we had the best experience and special mention to all staff who are extra courteous and the kindest people. Will definitely come again soon :)

The minute u check in u start to feel this hotel is really special. They say welcome home to you, make u sit comfortably and serve you a special drink while they process the check in. I stayed here with an infant and a child and without me asking, they even placed a bottle warmer and bottle sterilizer in the room! It was really useful! The room is really beautiful and clean. The staff at this hotel do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay. I was served by Nur ju for check in, and Shukry for my afternoon tea, but all the other staff were equally great! Will be back for winter.
