Great cute little motel off the highway. We were driving back to Montreal and my girlfriend got too tired to drive so we stopped at this place. What can I say? Pretty good prices and very nice clean rooms. The guy at the desk was very nice. Loved the cool decorative christmas lights and stuff. I highly recommend this place!!

The amenities are limited. One minute from the 223 exit. There are a few restaurants in the neighbourhood and there is a Maxi and a Dollar store in a shopping center located 3 minutes by car. The bed was super comfortable. The AC worked fine in both rooms. If you need fresh towels daily, ask. If you are working for several days and you drive a heavy truck the front parking is huge enough for a 12 wheeler and a trailer. Prices are very competitive during the week. Week end prices are over 100 a night. To lock in a lower price you would have to call during the week and explain to the owner who is helpful.. If you are used to boutique hotel style bedroomS this is not like that. But if you have an extended contract in Shawinigan and you need to book rooms for your team this spot is a spot to consider. There is no room service here. If you want to eat you can walk 5 to 10 minutes to the local fast food greek spot. It opens at 11 am or go to Tim's or order from spots that deliver. No phones in the rooms. Wifi yes. Pic Nik tables outside. Back door for your room . Parking spot next to back door. If you arrive very early call the number on the door. If you book a room with two beds you will get just one key. Don't lose your key. There is a fridge in your room. And a dresser With 3 drawers. The water pressure for the shower was strong. TV worked. I did not have trouble sleeping despite the highway exit being near. Plug your ears. The curtains that cover the windows were effective at keeping the light out.. I slept during the day and worked during the night. My rating is based on the prices/value they charge during the week as a spot to sleep for a working crew during the week. If I had to stay in the area during the week end with my yet to meet sweetie pie she would probably want a prettier place with lots of flowers and stuff because for sure she would be better than me at that. It's a little motel just to have a good night sleep and not more. You shouldn't expect that much for the breakfast as its super simple. We woke up early and everything was full and they recharge so often too. The bed was comfortable but you won't get the blow dryer in the room.

Stayed over night while travelling with a kid. We booked a double queen room and for the price we paid, I must say I was surprised by the cleanliness of it. I don’t expect much from a property when it says motel, but this one was really good as compared to even some of the hotels I have stayed in. The care takers are very humble and ready to help in any way possible. If you are passing through Shawinigan. It is a good place to spend the night in case you need a break. It’s just of the highway with all amenities near by.

Very overpriced for this motel. The rooms are gladly decorated and outdated. NO COFFEE IN THE MORNING for a room I payed $197. I phoned the front desk at 7am to ask if there was coffee, it was closed. I left at 8am still closed. The TV did not work. The 2 side lamps did not turn on even if all the wall switches are on. Their star rating of 4.3 is BS. Most likely all their buddies giving fake reviews. The only good thing about this place is that the room was clean. It's the price that bothers me for what it is. Not worth more than $75/night

Needed (very) last minute accommodations and this place was great. The man at the front desk was friendly and polite and spoke both French and English(I saw previous reviews complaining about his lack of French, but this man does speak French.) The room was very clean, had a huge and extremely comfortable bed, clean bedding, new floors, mini fridge, microwave, smart tv with roku and other apps, free wifi, free parking directly outside room door, cute decor, lots of places to sit outside, affordable, and very quiet even though there were lots of full rooms. Would absolutely stay again and I would recommend to others. Only issues were that the a/c unit didn’t cool very well and one of the chain locks needs repairs, otherwise a great stay.

For the price it's not bad.I wish they had a better and secure internet since we stayed here for a week to work cause our floor were being redone.And they need to learn a bit of french communication was complicated.

If you want to get infested with cockroaches, it is definetly the place. The price is too much for an outdated place like this, we Inspect every room every time we get to a place and it is a really good habit… Surprise! Cockroaches everywhere….

Receptionist was nice that. This place has bed bugs. Stay away at all costs!!
