地元の温泉、北橘温泉ばんどうの湯は惜しむらくも令和3年3月28日を以って閉館。復活を望む声は多いものの、このコロナ禍での営業再開は絶望的かと思われておりましたが、閉館から僅か8ヶ月でkomorebiテラス
ばんどうのゆ
として見事復活！営業再開となりました。なんでも伊香保のホテルオーナーが買い取ったとか。今後の期待を込めての星5です。以前の入湯料金は公営ということもあり300円（65歳以上の高齢者は200円）でしたが、完全民営化ということもあり660円（土日祝は770円）となっていました。施設内の床や壁材は綺麗に張り替えられていたものの基本的はレイアウトは以前のままで変わりはありませんでした。あと、これは書いていいのかわからないんですが、以前の公営の頃は土地柄のためか、刺青やタトゥー等が入っていても入湯OKでしたが、今回の再オープン以降はNGとなったようです。コロナ禍でインバウンド客が見込めないうえに、この施設のすぐ上にあった宿泊施設の城山荘は廃業が決まっており厳しい再出発となりそうですが、地元民としては大いに期待、応援しています。
