(Translated by Google) I visited you after a long time. Even though it was 11:10, there were few lines! As usual, the measures against corona were not enough, I hurriedly ate and escaped from the store. It's such a time, so I should stop the waitlisting system near the wall and change to a park-lined system! I thought. Sure enough? The procession as it used to be is gone. It is unavoidable that the number of foreigners visiting Japan has decreased, but it does not reduce the number of Japanese customers. .. .. 。。

I went at 7 pm on a Sunday and queued for about 20 minutes. The restaurant is tiny and only has 15 seats, which are all at the bar so it is one-in one-out only. I ordered the special ramen not knowing that what I was getting myself into. You pay at the machine and hand the ticket to the chef’s assistant when it is your turn. I was asked in English if I wanted large or medium (ie. They cost the same) and went for the latter. If you choose large you get a large plate of freshly made and cooked egg noodles on the side and mix them into your ramen yourself. In case of the medium size it comes all in one pot and it is not for the faint hearted: a very thick and quite salty fish/shrimp ramen with fatty pork. It is delicious, but need to be open minded. I diluted my ramen with extra stock as I felt it was too salty. Generally clean but could be cleaner, several loose cables hanging and lying around so wouldn’t pass Health and Safety in Europe. Still, staff very friendly; very local experience with intensely tasty ramen - just what I was looking for. I would go there again again and try the other dishes.

(Translated by Google) Our shop in line at any time. As a hobby of eating ramen, I have visited many times since the store opened, but for the past few years I have avoided the length of the line, but is it the influence of Corona? A few vacant seats arrived after 18:00 on Thursday. Eat special ramen. 1050 Yenya. The price had risen within a while, probably because of the consumption tax hike. A combination of thick soup with seafood added to chicken plain hot water base and Choita straight noodles. The noodles are crunchy and very delicious! The char siu had two rose rolls, but one + thickly chopped block-shaped pork was changed to many. The chopped Kujo green onions and thick menma are the same as before. The taste balls are the same. The pleasantness of customer service as usual is also a high point! My favorite ramen, this shop that is in the top 5, the impression does not change even after visiting for a long time! It's a very delicious, pleasant and good restaurant. [Revisited in January 2021] After work, I visited after 19:00. Although it is always a popular shop with a large line, it may be due to the influence of Corona, and even at this time, there are vacant seats and you can sit comfortably. On this day as well, I always eat Tokusei Ramen on the street. 1050 Yenya. As usual, the taste is a combination of rich chicken plain hot water seafood soup and medium-thin straight noodles. Lots of chopped pork roast pork, thick menma and chopped Kujo green onions. The customer service is perfect! It seems that Oita is vacant due to the influence of corona, so the shop will be difficult. There is no big line in the past, and I am very grateful from the user side ...

(Translated by Google) This is my first visit. Until now, there were quite a few lines on weekdays and weekends, but now I can enter without waiting for 10 minutes. While the shopkeeper is making ramen, the setup is good and the attention to the customers is good, so I don't feel like waiting. It's a major shop whose name is roaring overseas, and I've avoided it until now. I came to the store with anticipation and anxiety, but it was so delicious that I came twice a week. .. I imagined that there were a lot of male staff with a loud voice peculiar to a ramen shop, but unlike that, it was a female clerk who worked carefully with a gentle shopkeeper. I ate tsukemen. The soup was rich, but I didn't feel thirsty, so I put the soup in a tabletop pot and drank it all. This is the first time I have drank all the tsukemen soup. I made a large serving of noodles, but the texture and thickness were a little thick. There is considerable satisfaction after eating from the taste, texture and quantity. The second time, I imitated other customers and made the tsukemen hot, but I preferred it not. Next time, it will be normal and let's make ramen.

Delicious ramen! When you arrive, you insert money into a vending machine and select what type of ramen you want. The special broth is richer than the standard broth, although both are delicious. The ramen comes with some pork in it, but you can add extra. It doesn't come with an egg, and you can add one in. The dipping noodles come cold, with a hot broth to dip them into. If you're in the mood for something warming, stick with the ramen. Once you have made your selection, you press the button at the bottom and it prints a ticket and dispenses your change. Give your ticket to the person behind the counter, stand in line behind the people eating and wait for a seat to open up. Once one does, sit down and enjoy!

Lined up at 11:40am (queue was quite long and out the door) and exited the ramen shop by 12:30pm. The turnover is quite fast and most visitors finish their ramens within 10-15 minutes. Ordering: Vending machine ticket system. Cash only. The server behind the counter will ask for your ticket and whether you want medium or large portion noodles. I ordered the 得製つけめん tokusei tsukemen. The noodles are chewy and al dente - very delicious. It pairs very well with the rich and thick soup. Soup stock is a mix of chicken and katsuo - not as fishy as I expected. I enjoyed the experience very much. Highly recommend.

Queued over an hour for this. Was wondering if it’s worth the wait. Was surprised by the long queue. Turns out to be worth the queue. It’s one for the best tsukeman style ramen I have ever tried. Highly recommended.

(Translated by Google) I have been visiting the store for a long time. The taste does not change, it is always stable and delicious. Please try it once. However, I personally regret that I haven't taken any measures regarding corona. The shopkeeper often said, "I don't think it's a ramen shop because it's soft and soft," and that's right, but I feel that I could see the attitude toward customers with or without the corona measures this time. Well, it's always crowded and it's quite profitable, so honestly, it seems that nervous customers do not have to come.

Dipping Ramen is definitely something unique most of them will try that. If you’re more for the hot soup it’s very tasty too. Que can be quite long but it’s quite fast. Something special you don’t get usually. They do take out as well be sure to let them know. They will ask for the portion of the noodles Small Medium or Large. Portion are huge so order what you can eat.

I came here on a really cold night. It was snowing in Tokyo. I tried this ramen place out of curiosity. It didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed my time here. The ramen bowl was delicious. The portion (upsize noodles) was enough for me. Come here hungry so you’ll appreciate the food more. The ticket machine has English items written on it so it’ll be easier for those who can’t read Japanese.

I've been on a tsukemen binge in Tokyo for the past three weeks, and this is by far my favorite. Rich, unique flavour that isn't overpowering, fluid, and delicious noodles! The atmosphere is fast-paced, so you won't have time to chit-chat, especially with those standing behind you. I will surely return here several times in a row!

My first tsukemen experience in Japan and it did not disappoint. The cold noodle has a nice chewy texture and the broth was thick with a mix of salty, fishy, and pork flavour. There is a pot of water on the counter for you to dilute the broth if you find it too salty. The queuing starts from inside of the restaurant to outside across the street. It may seem odd to have someone standing behind your seat when you're eating but this is normal.

Fuunji Tsukemen comes with delicious thick broth with big chunks of pork meat, egg, bamboo shoots for the special set. The broth has lotsa flavor and a hint of spice. It might be too salty, but you can add more soup base to dilute the broth. The mountain of noodle was very chewy “mochi mochi”. The queue was about half an hour when I visited at about 1.30pm during the golden week.

Superb ramen place in Shinjuku. Had an excellent tsukemen here. Noodle servings are huge so come here hungry. Be prepared to wait both outside and inside the store as the line continues inside the restaurant. Moderately priced for a great ramen.

Delicious ramen and tsukemen, their menu only has these items because it's 100% excellence. Expect there to be a long line but it moves quickly and is worth the wait! FYI: the special ramen comes with everything already.

Great tsukemen! Noodles had excellent texture and chew, the broth was nice and thick, and service was fast! Line up moves quick and the people are really nice. Vending machine makes ordering easy. Deluxe dipping noodle is the way to go. They will ask if you want medium or large once you give your ticket. We got the medium which looked small but it was filling. The large is a lot of food!

(Translated by Google) It's good, but it doesn't have this characteristic, but it's a tsukemen that makes you want to eat it occasionally. The feeling that seems to be bad for the body seems to be addictive. I don't dislike it, but I like it! Not enough to confess. Very ordinary tsukemen. Am I the only one who tastes mayonnaise from the back of Tsukedare?

Serving was pretty darn fast, within 5min after handling over the ticket. Tsukemen was awesome, in which you can choose between a medium or large portion. Soup was of seafood based, with some porks in it. Protein was kinda little tho. Its quite famous, in which after opening just for 10min, the place is almost full

Got lucky with the line and only had to wait about 20mins when I came at around 815pm! Base ramen comes with the toppings already (except egg) so be mindful when ordering on the machine that you don’t double up! Chef will also ask what portion size of noodles you want when you hand your ticket so keep this in mind! I got the medium which was already very generous however there was also a large size too! Broth was rich, thick, delicious and full of flavour! Did not disappoint

Most people get the dipping noodles here. I tried the ramen and my bf tried dipping noodles which I also had. Both have a broth which is rich and meaty, not your typical ramen which is probably what makes it so special. Went on a weekday about 7.30pm and waited an hour but half of that was done whilst people watching inside the restaurant so not so bad. Added additional toppings and was very full after. There are a lot of tourists but if you don't mind sitting singularly from then you will get a spot faster so I think I'd do that next time. Very delicious food!

(Translated by Google) Visited at 13:00 on Monday. Even in Corona, there was a waiting line of about 6 people outside the store and about 10 people inside the store. The menu is ramen and tsukemen, each with a special topping, and these four are the basic menus. The amount of noodles can be either normal or large, which is a great deal. It's a famous tsukemen restaurant, but this time I got ramen instead of tsukemen. I think 80-90% of our customers are tsukemen. The soup is chicken plain hot water with toromi, the scent of seafood, and the noodles are medium but chewy. It's more like chewing than slurping. I got a large serving, but the soup is delicious, but it doesn't have a habit, so I want to change the taste on the way. There were seven flavors and pepper in the shop, but the black seven flavors seemed to match. I wonder if the tsukemen I ate last time was better.

I can’t give enough stars on this restaurant. For being super busy, queue lining up around the street corner, staff have excellent customer service. The line moved up quickly as well. You would purchase the items using the vending machine and when it’s your turn, you give the tickets from the vending machine to the chef and they will serve you the items. Noodles texture is excellent!! We got a dipping noodles and a ramen. Both are soooooo good! The flavors are unique and not salty at all. People usually just eat their food and leave the table so the line actually moves quite fast. If you are in the area, this is a MUST try!

Unbelievable taste! Strong seafood flavour that is incredibly rich without sitting heavy in the stomach. Fantastic mouth feel as the noodles are textured to allow the broth to cling to them. The head chef is a master of his craft and his passion for his work is evident by the way he shakes the boiling water from the the cooked noodles and by ensuring that the noodles are folded into each bowl a specific way. Expect a bit of a wait before and after entry.

An amazing experience! Loved the traditional bar counter style eating experience where you order from the ticketing kiosk and pass it to the chef to cook. The noodles were delectable and possess a great bounciness to it. The special dipping sauce was amazing as well. Order the medium as the large is gonna be way too big!!

Great place to experience dipping ramen or tsukemen for the first time. The staff was very accomodating and was easy to talk to as a foreigner. The tsukemen itself was amazing, the mixture of salty and umami with cold noodles was fantastic, but it did have some strong seaweed taste. Oh and make sure to add the egg! As for the venue, you might want to learn how to eat fast since its a counter type diner, where people fall in line behind you as you eat. So you have to have the courtesy at least to try and give up your spot as soon as you can! Overall A great dining experience! I highly recommend trying it, but don't get the 400g because its too much!

I recommend going for Fuunji's tsukemen as a first timer. The noodles were cooked springy with a nice chewy texture. What takes the spotlight is their rich dipping broth filled with umami flavour from its combination of chicken, sardines, bonito flakes and kelp. Like most tsukemen, the broth feels heavy and tastes salty when taken by itself, but it is perfect when dipped with noodles. When you order, the server will ask if you'll want a medium or large portion of noodles. I would recommend taking the medium option to avoid being overwhelmed by a mound of noodles. Queue could be anywhere from 30 minutes but it is worth the wait. Only thing that needs getting used to was to have waiting customers stand right behind me while I was slurping my tsukemen. Given the small space, the customer is like a foot and a half behind.

Fresh, bouncy noodles with a thick, rich dipping soup. Some may find the soup a little too salty, but it has enough tang to balance that out. The flavoured egg was cooked perfectly, as was the melt-in-your-mouth chashu. The line was long but it moved quickly. Overall, a great experience and delicious tsukemen!!

Amazing first meal in Tokyo! Easy to find and must try!! Queued from 10:25am on a Saturday and was 2nd group in the line, restaurant opens at 11am and lots of people queued from just before it opened definitely come early! We ordered the dipping noodles & ramen and my partner and I LOVED them!! The only downside was that people are waiting behind you and watching you eat so you feel like you need to be very quick eating

Absolutely delicious 🤤! At the entrance there is normally a line, but it moves pretty fast. Then you choose your ramen at the vending machine and pay it, and you wait to be seated. The ramen is great, with a deep flavored broth made brighter by adding smoked fish powder. And the noodles are possibly even better!🍜 The atmosphere is busy and fun, the ovner is a character! Price ranges for 850 to 1150 ¥, plus add-ons.

Excellent rich ramen, though the broth is a touch on the overly thick side for my taste. A rather unique experience though - the queueing is all the way into the store - finish your meal and the next eater is right behind you to take your seat. Service is almost instantaneous once you're seated. We aimed to get our ramen at 11 at opening time and got there exactly then, to find there was already a queue of about an hour. Clearly it's a popular joint to stop by - would advise to find a quieter time to go. All in all, a good ramen spot but not quite worth the hour wait for me.

You should definitely visit this store if you're into thick broth ramen. I realised that a lot of locals are here for their meals too. Their ramen is so thick and I am sure you will be full after having your meal here. Be prepared to queue for a while as it is a very popular store. Shall definitely visit this place again.

My first every tsukemen and I think its really a unique experience. Love the perfectly cooked noodles and broth was thick, creamy and super tasty. Once you are done with your noodles, save some broth and you can add a soup in the silver kettle mixed your broth and you can drink it to finish off your meal. We came here to queue around 11.45 with around 15 people ahead of me but got a seat within 20min. The turnover here is super fast and so don't be turned off by the long queue if you see one. Hope to come back again soon.

This is probably the best dipping ramen I've ever eaten. The noodles are slightly thicker and firmer, which were great with dipping. The dipping broth was flavourful and more like some thick gravy. You can choose medium or large for the noodles. Medium would be likely enough for most unless you are a really big eater. Be ready for at least half an hour of queue 😆

this outlet is famous for its dipping style ramen. I ordered the standard ramen instead to see the standard of their base product, it didn’t disappoint. Delicious thick broth with rich flavour of bonito and pork bones. Love the bamboo shoots which has a light sweetness to it. Definitely must order the extra green onions to complement. Cost: 850 JPY + 150 JPY extra onions I regretted not ordering the eggs for an extra 150 JPY. Highly recommend this place if around the area.

When I arrived there was a really long line. Thought I'd line up for like 2 hours but ended up being only about 45 minutes. I went on a Saturday so the line was most likely extra long. They rotate out customers really quickly as your food comes as soon as you sit down. This was the best tsukemen in Tokyo that I had. The broth was so creamy and thick, complimented with their chewy noodles.

Ramen was great. I had the dipping version - it was thick, flavourful and umami. My only complaint is that the soup was a little cold and tasted a little powdery. Overall a great ramen place but queue might get a little long. Recommend going right when they open. I still personally prefer Ichiran ramen over this. (I also feel like menya musashi is equally good - without the queue)

This dish has grown on me through my time in Japan. Dipping ramen has never been my favorite or go to, but Fuunji does it well. The spice mix they use keeps the broth interesting.

Famous tsukemen Ramen shop. I didn't order tsukemen but their ramen. Good as well, broth are thick. Price is consider low 1050yen for ramen with egg. Self serve hot tea/ cold water There is people standing behind you while eating so u gotta eat fast

Small joint in a quiet corner. Ordered the special set that came with the dipping noodles, egg, seaweed, pork and broth. The wait was about 15 mins and the queue moved relatively fast. Food was quite yums but I’m not a big fan of the dipping sauce. Noodles was of a decent thick smooth texture. Overall 4/5! And definitely value for money at 1,100 yen.

Very amazing. First mouth really hits different. Felt like an emotional experience. Best ramen I had in Japan for only 1100 yen and you van even choose your size of noodles serving for no extra charge. Was not even hungry going in but I demolished it. Beware there is a line but it moved fast. We waited around 30 mins but definitely worth it. Kept thinking about it for the rest of our trip. The 'special' comes with everything so do not need to add on. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible based on taste and value.

The dipping ramen is delicious. Fun experience as well eating dipping ramen for the first time. Highly recommended. I was there by 7PM on Wednesday during the Gold week but the line wasn't too bad, probably 10-12 people. It moved pretty fast. Staff communicated well with non-Japanese speakers and were very helpful. A must try. Some tourists might be bothered by having to line up behind other diners, and then having to eat with people lining up right behind you. It is all part of the experience. Have fun and enjoy the food!

You can choose normal or large noodles for free. Tsukemen has a rich taste of fish, and I haven't eaten tsukemen with a stronger taste than this shop. Although it is a small shop, I think that the owner's customer service is very good and you can eat comfortably. It was a treat. Delicious noodles and broth. Fast and efficient. Don’t mind the line, it goes by fast and you get food quickly after sitting down. Order at the vending machine by putting in money then selecting your options. I ordered the special ramen with green onion, bamboo, and egg. However, more locals seemed to order the dipping noodles.

A very popular tsukemen shop, but they also serve ramen as well. It’s quite pricy (around more than 1000 yen for the premium) but the customers do not seem to mind. When I got there, there was a line outside, and there is also a waiting queue inside too. What I’m amazed though is the role of the owner of the shop is also the shot-caller on who sits where in his domain. And the patrons obey him too! The tsukemen itself is above average, but the experience of eating it there has its own charm.

Great ramen, such nice texture, both the soup and the dipping (tsukemen) ramen. It’s very busy so be ready for a line that is longer then it looks from the outside as it continues all along the bar. All is worth it though and it goes very fast. I was 10 minutes before opening and there was already a line, but was seated within 10 minutes. Directly to the right when you go in is a machine to purchase your meal, just put in money, select one of the four options, get your ticket and hand it over when you are seated.

This place is amazing! We got here at 8.30pm on a Tuesday night and still had to wait for around 20 min but it was so worth it. Definitely on my top 3 ramen list. You order via the vending machine, choose from the special ramen soup or special tsukemen (dipping noodle) which comes with everything. Feel free to add extra egg, charsu, seaweed...etc. but you really don't need to. The noodles are el dente, even the ones in the soup. The broth is thick with umami and has a silky mouthful which isn't overly oily. However I was quite thirsty afterwards due to the sodium content. Highly recommend!
