Standard budget hotel. Location is nicely located in the small town. Free parking for guests too. You could tell the age of the hardware but the reception desk is helpful. WiFi is quite fast.

Considering the price, Club Hills Nakamura was one of the nicest hotels I stayed in during my two months in Shikoku. Room and facilities (inlcuding free WiFi) were excellent, and the morning breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and well stocked with meat, eggs, and bread... a very welcome break from the standard fish & rice Japanese fare. The only negative point was the large bath was closed for maintenance when I stayed. Rate was 5940 for a single room, breakfast was 750 yen additional and well worth it!

Old, stale air that smells like cigarettes even in a non-smoking room. I got a sore throat within an hour of being in the room. The beds are rock hard. It’s supposed to be a twin room but is as another guest said, they have simply shoved another bed into a single room. Very cramped, and the extra “bed” isn’t even a proper mattress. I could understand this kind of quality if it was a dirt cheap hotel, but they’re charging the same if not more than other, newer and cleaner hotels with proper mattresses. Not impressed. Will not be booking here again.

Great value and although starting to look a little worn around the edges, very clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The walls are a bit thin, but other guests were very considerate so no problem getting an early night.

Formal English name is Hotel Crown Hills Nakamura. Room and bathroom size is quite tiny. Bed is clean and comfortable. Good WiFi. Free parking. Located a little further away from city center to explore on foot. The best feature is the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. For only 750 yen, it’s the best deal you can have. Abundant tasty foods, both Japanese and western.
