【当社】は、前九年の役において源頼義・義家父子に敗れた安倍宗任・貞任兄弟を祀る神社で、下妻市本宗道89番に立地する。
参拝しての【特徴】は、「子宝神社」であり、当社には子授けや虫封じに御利益があるようなので、同社が建立されているものと思われる。目をみはるのは、樽の中に本殿があることと石の男性器・女性器がこの両脇に置かれていることである。
