I would definitely not recommend staying at this hotel as l had a very bad experience, due to this l have anxiety staying at any travelodge hotel based on my experience at this branch. I booked the hotel for two days and the night that I checked in, l went into my room, got ready for bed. At around 11:30pm someone walked into my room and l panicked once they left l quickly walked out and found that it was male staff member who claimed my room door was open as that was not the case. As I had checked the door and placed the do not disturb sign on the door handle outside. I couldn’t sleep and I double locked the door. I had no choice but to stay at this hotel for the remainder of my stay due to being in a different city. The next day I immediately informed a staff member explaining the situation. She informed me that she would pass this onto management who was Julie. As she was away. I emailed Julie who wasn’t understanding whatsoever and tried to justify someone entering my room. She didn’t reply back to any other emails from myself. I am appalled on how this matter was dealt with.

This budget hotel is located in the centre, very close to Forster Square rail station. The rooms are what you would expect from a budget hotel. It is cheap and generally less noisy than other city centre hotels. The staff, such as Alex, are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed many times for work and always feel welcome.

I had to arrrange overnight stay for me and my family of 5. Having made an mistake on the date of checking in! Aleksandra who was at reception was kind enough to fix my mistake and make room in the inn for my family

No air-conditioning or sound proof rooms, as the room next to me was playing music at 11pm and I complained at front desk but they didn't do anything, thanks to a portable fan, I switched on for noise reduction otherwise I wouldn't have had a good night sleep.

Me and my partner stayed over for a few nights and the service from front desk especially Kelly was amazing. We loved the rooms they were so clean and every morning they were touched up and refreshed. Staff were so welcoming and always happy to assist, thank you for the lovely service.

There was only a small carpark compared to how big the Travelodge is, reception on first floor but no one to greet you when you arrive you have to ring a number and the receptionist will come to you then you get your keys and tell you what room you are in. The room was very nice only downside to it was bed was so creaky when you moved in it and noticed duvet cover had come undone and the duvet was mucky don't know if I would stay again

Very central to public service travel hubs... Clean... Staff excellent and welcoming... The area is not very lively but not far to some OK pubs... Restaurants at that end of Town not good... Lots of people are apparently homeless... My room 418 at the top and end of a corridor was perfectly positioned... It was a blustery day and noise levels from outside were high... The toilet leaked in that it continually filled and the bathroom fan was noisy and on for the duration... None of which detracted from my view of the staff on duty they were excellent... Good value... though the noise issues would DEFINITELY trouble some didn't bother me...

Terrible night staying here. Fire alarm went off which isn’t the problem, it was scary to see that the staff in charge did not know what she was doing. Left outside in the freezing cold for nearly an hour at 7 in the morning while the staff is running around trying to turn the alarm off, she said she did not know what she was doing which made me think in a real fire people would seriously be hurt or perish in this hotel. No sense of FIRE SAFETY what so ever TRAVELODGE need to think of trading staff properly in fire safety!!! Fire alarm monitor had fault on there when I was checking out which meant this was not even working, did not feel so unsafe in a hotel before.

Affordable and easy to book, nice clean room. The reception desk is on the first floor once you enter the building and go up the lifts which I wasn’t expecting upon arrival. Parking is a bit tight and not a lot of car parking spaces available and the tv in the room is a bit small but can’t really complain at the price. The lady who checked me in was lovely, overall a great effortless stay and experience.

Normally I'm the first in the queue to knock Travelodge, but this was a refreshing change. Whilst the rooms were still the basic functional offering found at a Travelodge, this was clean, tidy and felt modern. Handy location for the centre of Bradford, two minute walk across the road to the train station, plus a McDonalds on the retail park if you prefer your breakfast not from a bag. Some car parking spaces for the hotel, but if they are full plenty of free (over night) street parking locally, or £2 at the train station for 24 hours.

For my stay it was perfect. I just wanted a place to get my head down for a few hours after attending a concert in Halifax. If I’d have paid a lot more I might not have given full marks but for about £40 I could not fault it.

Rooms not a great size no wardrobes but very clean and well presented. Easy to find and located well. Parking on site may be a problem but if u dont mind walking 100 yards there is ample parking for free. Staff are kind and lovely front desk lady

Freindly Hotel situated in the centre of town. Bathroom was nice and modern, but bedroom could have done with a bit of a spruce up.

Building has some maintenance issues, nothing major, but could do with a revamp. Friendly staff. Great location for the centre of Bradford. Close to train and bus stations. Good for families and always value for money.

After reading some reviews on here I was expecting to walk into some kind of flea ridden cess pit. Turns out my room was actually alright. Very happy with what was on offer. My only bit of advice, if you're traveling alone....leave your bags in the car when you check in. Your only going to have to walk back to the car to leave a parking permit on your dashboard, so grab them then.

Comfy bed,/pillows, easy check in. Not much parking and a bit noisy in the room overlooking the road. Clean, had everything I needed except a hairdryer. Glad I had taken my own.

DISGUSTING It has now been just over a week since I have found time to write a review about my stay at Travelodge Bradford Central. There is one simple word for my findings DISGUSTING The room, although the room looked clean, it had an awful stench, which was not restricted to the room, it was in the hallway, the reception and even the lift. I can only liken that smell to a mix of feet and backsides. I was in town conducting work around homeless communities and visited places where the hygiene of service users, who it should be said, have a wide range of difficulties, is way down the list of their priorities, and hostels where substantial number of street homeless people access for support. NONE OF THEM SMELLED AS BADLY AS TRAVELODGE BRADFORD CENTRAL. If I had any choice I would have left and gone home, but the work I conduct with homeless communities is vital. The only redeeming quality for this hotel is the friendly McDonalds a few hundred yards down the road, which is open for eating in 24 hours and although drinking coffee at 2am is not my thing, it got me out of the room and helped relieved the headache the stink was giving me. There was little point in complaining to the staff who obviously had become acclimatised to the smell. My thoughts, If you want to pay for a bed but spend most of the night sitting in McDonalds or are happy sleeping in a space which smells like a stable, then book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

It's 1805 11/01/22 , and Alex is in the carpark with a bucket and broom cleaning the carpark, not to say the other staff members don't do it (I've just never witnessed it) I stay here every week for work, Julie ,Kelly , Alex and Mohammed are true assets , great customer services they are consistent even go the extra mile for me, .. they need commending... I will be asking them if travelodge responded , just to let you know I'm an extraordinary persistent person Thk u

A good budget hotel to stay in for a night or two if you are higher up in the hotel you get a peaceful sleep the parking is somewhat good as there are quite a few spaces some around the back and some at the front it’s easier to park around the back as there is more spaces also if you go in from the back you scan your card and can go straight towards the lift which is a lot easier the rooms are ok but not that good i believe these are the old style travelodge hotel rooms as the bathrooms have red walls which is not that nice they also don’t have air conditioning which most travelodges do but that was fine the single beds aren’t that comfy as they have spring mattresses but the king size bed is a lot more comfy the plug sockets are quite far away from the beds so you can’t charge your phone next to you but that’s ok they give you the basic supplies and you can also ask for more such as towels hair dryers irons etc there is also a kettle in the room along with tea bags and spoons with sugar and coffee which is a good morning drink the staff are friendly and on exit there is a water jug to drink from which is great overall the location is great as it is bd central and all the good places to eat are around you

Currently super noisy as there is building work going on. I took this hotel and chose the quiet floor all for some lunatic to keep setting the fire alarm off in the middle of the night. I chose the WiFi option thinking it was going to be fast it was 5mb ... my phone signal on three is 50 .. theres 3 quid I'm never seeing again.

Poor room condition, unavailability of toiletteries and dodgy online booking system were the part of my experience in Travelodge bradford Central.I had been shown the price 33 and been charged 47. When asked, member of staff said that there was something wrong with the online booking system which even IT people didn't understand. Bad experience i ever had.

👍Service was good, we were served by Mohamed who was very nice and helpful. 👍The room was nice and clean but beds were uncomfortable, I woke up with a back ache. 👍The TV had very limited channels and basic ones such as Cbeebies wasn't available. 👍The vending machine was a huge pain, after stating you can checkout multiple items, you discover you actually can't. The items also get stuck and don't get dropped down. 👍Walls are thin so you can hear what's happening in the next room. We stayed one night

It's a travel lodge. Customer service was excellent, there was a mistake with the rooms that was fixed in 15 minutes. However the boxed breakfast is a bit of a ripoff and charging £3 for 24 hours of wifi feels criminal in this day and age. Don't spring for the extras and treat it as a pit stop.

  • 1/5 Shannon T. 2 years ago on Google
The staff gave another man a key to our room, late at night getting changed and a man walks into my room!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service and didn’t even get an apology just got told they had given him a key to our room accidentally. Not safe or secure and I left after this as I didn’t feel comfortable. What would’ve happened if I want in the room? Would this man have had access to all my belongings? Would they have even been there when I came back? Never again will I stay in a travelodge, never felt so unsafe and uncomfortable.

Pictures are click bait. It looks new etc in the picture but i assure u it’s not. Very old and unhygienic sheets towels carpet were all dirty. Had to ask for new towels. What’s with such Dull lighting in the room as well and not being able to set heater to be at a certain heat the full time. Also no plug next to the bed ? What’s that all about it’s 2022. Parking lot has squinty lanes. Wnd extremely tight and stupid. Limited spaces as well. Plus car park is just full of huge vans even worse that Cover up there security cameras. Great cuz that helps I’m an incident happens. 1/10 for me

Cosy, Comfortable stay, Small car park. Can get a little loud late evening depends on which day you stay. Overall you do get a good night sleep. retail shops near by walking distance. Shopping centre not far off also Bradford town where there is many great restaurants. Not far from Leeds either by car or train. 👍Well done Travelodge!
