We
stayed
on
a
last
minute
visit
for
one
night
last
week
to
get
away
from
the
same
4
walls.
We
payed
Β£60
for
a
double
room
(price
excludes
breakfast
which
is
charged
at
Β£8.95
per
guest)
Let's
start
with
the
room.
I
wasn't
expecting
anything
fancy
whatsoever
at
the
price
we
paid,
but
the
room
was
very
basic
with
very
dated
furniture
and
a
HORRIBLE
mattress.
It
was
so
uncomfortable.
The
beds,
however
were
made
to
a
high
standard
and
the
sheets
were
fresh.
The
bathroom
looked
clean
at
first
glance,
however
after
visiting
to
use
the
toilet
i
noticed
some
cleanliness
issues
(pictured)
there
was
rust
and
no
doubt
dirt
around
the
toilet
seat
fitting.
There
was
also
a
bin
in
the
bathroom
but
not
one
in
the
bedroom.
The
biggest
issue
I
had
with
our
room,
was
that
though
lockable
from
our
side,
there
are
two
doors
which
open
into
another
room.
This
was
locked
but
it's
immaterial
as
it's
a
security
issue.
There
was
no
safe
in
the
room
either
which
is
very
bizzare.
Most
hotels
do
provide
this
security
feature.
I
would
possibly
stay
again
but
I'd
hope
that
they
do
change
the
mattresses
as
they
are
shockingly
uncomfortable.
I've
had
comfier
sleeps
in
a
camping
bed!
Overall
3/5,
there
is
definitely
room
for
improvement
but
I
would
stay
again
for
a
night
if
need
be.
Also,
there
is
a
pool
table
available
in
reception
which
kept
us
occupied
for
quite
some
time
(charged
at
Β£1
per
game)
The
hotel
do
not
accept
cash,
which
they
should,
with
the
Covid-19
pandemic
nearly
over.
It's
illogical
to
not
take
cash.
