Best and peaceful place in kagan valley. If you have only 2 day holiday. You can easily explore that place. On your way to Naran, After Balakot you will reach at Kewai waterfall. Then after kewai you’ll reach Paras from where you have to turn towards river kunhar. Jeep is only way to reach Sharan Forest. You can get jeep within the range of RS 5000 if you’re good in bargain then it’d be beneficial for you to save few more buckets. Then leave your own vehicle in parking and get into jeep. It’ll take almost 1:30 minute to reach at your final and desired destination sharan forest. In your way towards this astonishing forest you’ll also get a chance to visit beautifully built chinar Resort. You can also stay there. Room at chinar Resort will cost You approximately 7000 to 10000, depends on room size. If you don’t want to stay their. But I’d suggest you to stay their for a short period. Just for a tea. They offer best tea. With tea in hand you’d get a chance to enjoy nature clouds and beautiful mountains view. So don’t miss it. Then after short stay at chinar you’d reach at your lovely destiny. There at sheran forest you won’t get any hotel or place to eat. Only huts and Pods are available there which were installed by KPK government in 2016. If you want to stay in those pods, To avoid any inconvenience, you need to book them a week before from your arrival on the helpline of KPK tourism. All Pods have a capacity to occupy only 28 persons at a time. Huts can also occupy only 28 person. Try to bring your food with you. You can use authorities kitchen to cook your own food. In sheran you can visit beautiful massive waterfall which can be reach within 45 minutes of tracking from pods. Which offer beautiful sceneries and sweet water to the people those travel just to meet it. Manchi peak can also be tracked from sheran forest. Peak can be reached within 2:30 minutes tracking.

A great natural forest for a few days retreat. The forest is dense with heavy vegetation. It is for now mostly non-commercial, hence very clean with less influx of tourists. The forest is adjacent to Manshi Top, which again is a lush green plateau. You can expect to find rich flora and fauna, dense mossy formations, mushrooms, wild fruits on trees and water streams. The locals are friendly, there is a camp site inside the forest with small huts owned by forest and tourism departments.

Sharan is a beautiful, untouched forest reserve in KPK, Pakistan. The forest is dense with heavy vegetation. It is for now mostly non-commercial, hence very clean with less influx of tourists. The most peaceful and quite place in the northern Pakistan at this side of Naran. The sharan forest is tough to reach with almost 2-3 hrs of bone cracking jeep ride through mostly dirt track. But the serenity of the area is unbeatable and indescribable. The forest is thick at most part however the camping area is cleared, land levelled and grass maintained. The camping pods are already installed with double bed, dressing table and a mirror, giving it a small room appearance. There are mobile washrooms just like pods with every single unit. They got lights installed already. However the big catch is unavailability of any restaurants in the area leaving visitors to rely on their own ration. I’d recommend canned food for at least day. The other flaw is absence of any network coverage in the area. You can’t catch signals of any network at all.

Sharan forest is Tropical Alpine Forest located in Kaghan Valley. You have to take left turn from Paras Village on Naran road. A jeep trek of about 2.30hours will take you this beautiful serene place.. GOVT OF KPK has installed camping pods there. That's the beautiful addition to this acquisite valley. There's a lot information i want to shate for its beauty, treks, resthouse etc. Feel frre to mail me on this id.

Heaven on earth. Discovered this beauty last month. No words can describe its beauty. So so beautiful and peaceful. Half an hour drive from paras near kaghan on 4x4 jeep. On the top there are some tents and pods for families and bechrlors. Would love to go there again and again ❤️

An untouched, under-explored, little-known gem of KPK province of Pakistan is Sharan forest. A little tough to get to - given the rugged nature of the terrain - the place is absolutely astounding. You can camp here or you can stay at the luxury resort some 30 minutes jeep ride away. Either way, dare to make the trek to Manshi top. And marvel at the beauty of nature.
