Paye Meadows is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Northern Pakistan where nature can be found blushing everywhere. In spring season, the flowers bloom and these colorful creatures look awe-inspiring with the white backdrop of the Makra Peak.

Excellent and amazing serenity. You can't go there on your own car. Hiking from shogran or jeep ride. For fun you can even take horse riding. A wonderful place to visit with your family. It takes a jeep ride from Kiwai to get the top of the mountains to have such a beautiful view. On the way up you would love the view and when reach to the top, the place is so peaceful. Highly recommended. Must visit whenever you are on a trip to Naran.

The place was amazing, the view was mesmerizing, you could see the great Himalayan mountains clearly, however few things I want to share before planning a trip there, the locals there are not that much cooperative and they are opportunistics. You should take snacks, food, water (very important) and if you are planning a night stay there, try to take your own ⛺ tents or the one already available there will prove a huge setback to hour budget. Also the food and other items were 300% more expensive than normal.

Siri Paye is situated at Shogran Tehsil Balakot, district Mansehra KPK. Its off road (4*4) track from Kiwai and it will take 1.5 Hour approx. to reach on the top.Its approx. 8000 Above sea level. It is one of most commercial and crowed places in this region. There are lots of hotels with limited facilities currently available in Sri/Paye and Camping facility too. Over all Recommended place due to beautiful landscape and lush green meadow. It is pertinent to mention here Hiker lover can also go to MAKRA Peak to enjoy the Wildness.

One of the beautiful places of Pakistan. Lush green Mountain top plateau with Superb views. Though 4x4 Jeep ride is the only option other than 2 wheelers and its very very rough and tiring but the views on the top is worth going. The Area has ample small food huts with "local" washroom facilities. Its best to stay there with personal camping equipments

Such a majestic place with lush green meadows, it takes 1.5hr jeep off road track, but the jumps and bumps are all worth it. The scenic views is breath taking

Parked at Shogran and rented a jeep for Siri Paye. Started at 8 am. 40 minutes of thrill and fun drive to the top. Don't try to go in your own vehicle, the road is rocks and mud. Spent 4 hours in Siri Paye and walked to Makra Hill. Awesome views and beautiful scenery. The meadows were full of cow and horse dung so you have to careful. Take water and snacks to energise after long hikes.

Siri Paye valley is one of the most beautiful and amazing place on earth. Breathtaking scenery. Golden peaks and lady finger peaks from eagle nest make this place so awesome at sun rise. In season of autumn it's like a paradise for landscape photographers.

Beautiful place to visit, with wonderful weather. Camping facility is also available if planning for night stay but no proper hotels on top. Number of shops provide eateries and snacks. Horse riding from jeep parking to the meadows is a nice experience. If staying at Shogran then its great to spend entire day here just soaking in the views. Unfortunately some tourists don't seem to respect the sanctity of this beautiful meadow and lot's of garbage including bottles and empty wrappers were thrown around. It would be wonderful if a cable car would operate from Kiwai to Shogran connecting to Siri Paye which would really uplift the place. The place could use such more professional toursim facilities. All in all it's a must visit place.

Siri Paye meadows is so beautiful. You have to take 4*4 Jeep for Siri Paye meadows. The Track is so bad but the destination beauty is worth it.

Stop here on your way to Paye and take a break from the hectic and arduous jeep ride. Marvel at the pine beauty of the place. Walk around the small lake and meet the local cattle that you would find grazing freely. Try not to pollute!

Best place for one day trip from Rawalpindi/Islamabad

  • 5/5 Aamir I. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best places to visit in northern areas. It's just 4.5 hours drive from Islamabad via Hazara Motorway and even could be managed as one day trip/excursion if you leave isb early in the morning. Siri is just a small stopover point on way to Paye and if you hire jeep for just a round trip then it's better to skip Siri as Paye has lot more to offer and Jeepwalay will give you total of 1.5 hours time for the stay no matter where you stay/stop.

Road was extremely bumpy and rough, jeep drivers are amazing, they make the ride interesting. Go there early in the morning to enjoy the cloudy heavenly scene. Try some anda tamatr with chapati, it's delicious.

Heaven on Earth. One min you are in clouds with 10m visibility and in 2nd min all clear with sunshine. Green meadows...Challenging to go there in terms of Jeep ride from Shogran and walk of around 1.5 km on top. But it is worth it.

Only jeeps go up there. Siri is ok. Paye is amazing - low oxygen level, so be prepared for that. Good to take water and snacks with you. Tea is available there. Enjoy the serenity and have some focused time. Visited in 2013.

Very Very Beautiful Place to visit. It's at the top of the mountain. Lake and Meadows enhanced the beauty of this place. It's almost in the Clouds. The visitor must hire a Special jeep to reach there because the road is not so good and it's only a jeep track and it is 7750 feet from the sea leave. From Balakot it take 50 minutes to reach Shohran Velly and then almost 1.5 hour to Siri and then Paye. First place is "Siri" where there is a lake view and then on the Top "Paye". Paye is the most beautiful place where the meadows give a great pleasure of natural beauty. You have to reach back to Shougran in daylight.

Magical place to visit! Just beware of the horse owners offering rides to nearby places at high rates. Everything around Pae is easily accessible on foot. Not a hard hike at all.

  • 5/5 Muhammad Ansar C. 7 months ago on Google
It’s ideal place to go usually take 45-50 minutes on Jeep and by hiking 2-3 hours if you are regular hiker from Shogran scenery is beautiful and you can watch Makra mountain from very close

Paye is a very beautiful place. Meadows are very attractive. There is unlimited greenery. Horse riding also available for those who don’t like hiking, even the hiking is not too much. Must to visit place with family and friends. Spend at-least 3-4 hours, make live bbq and other fun activities.

The place is so awesome, but its now becoming ghora mandi, too many anoying ghoray walas out there, too many dhabas have ruined the calmness and beauty it used to have few years back, latest fare from kiwai to payee is 8000 for a jeep. Jeep trek is exuasting.old fellas must bring neck collar or neck support.

Road is very tough and rough, but the top is beautiful. Hire a horse it will take you to viewing spots, you can walk as well but save time as the Jeep guys usually give around 1 to 2 hours max at the top and go down before sunset.

The sentence ‘difficult paths often lead to beautiful destinations’ seems to be for this place. The scenery is beautiful of lake, snow capped mountains and greenery.

Seri Paye is located in Kaghan Valley near Shogran and UpTo 9 km to uphill from Shogran. It is very pleasant, green and far areas of this region is very clean. The parts of the area in the start from Shogran side are some what polluted by people. Here food, baverges, horse riding, and many more are enjoyable things.

Marvellous Mother Nature, A really refreshing place to visit. Road condition from kawie to shogran & siripaye is really bad a jeep ride is recommended 👌. At siripaya there are few food stalls but of low quality food. U can also enjoy horse ride. Overall its a refreshing place to have some peace far away from bustling cities. A must visit atleast Once u will not regret visiting

One of the best place or i would say Heaven on earth......... only 250km away from the capital......... i have gone far away in the north (GB and Kashmir) but this place has its own class and natural beauty........ the landscape of this place is very beautiful and there are alot of peaks. The makra is attraction for the hikers , hiking is my hobby, to me the trekking paths beauty matters the most and the trekking path of makra peak is very beautiful without any doubt....... highly recommended........ One more thing, the horse riding experience was also very good 😍

Paye meadow is the love of my life. A perfect spot to spend a day. However this time I was surprised to see the dust on the rout of shogran and paye. The unmanaged hut looks bad. However it's good to see some toilets are installed.

Meray payaray Pakistan ke bohat khobsoorat choti Seripaye meadows It is a beautiful place to visit and see. Paye Meadows is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Northern Pakistan where nature can be found blushing everywhere. In spring season, it can mesmerised you by its natural beauty. Cool and pleasant weather in summer season. It is just at 3 hrs drive from Islamabad. You drive on Hazara motorway for about 2hrs and reach Balakot then head towards Naran and after half an hour you reach Kewai. You have to park your car in paid parking and hire a jeep to go Shogran and seripaye because its a off road track for about 20 km. After 10 km you reach Shogran and if you like to stay you can find very nice hotel here and after an other 10 km drive you reach Seripaye meadows a very beautiful lush green plans at about 7000 metres above the sea level . Here if like to stay you can find very good 🏕 camping facilities on cheap rates like 2 to 3 thousands for 4 persons. Food is available here. Horses 🐎 are available for ride or you can hick for about one km to reach on the distention.

What a beautiful Meadows this is. Paye is phenomenal place to visit. This is most beautiful place in entire shogran Valley. People can see two beautiful peaks from here, One is Makra peak and other one is Musa ka Musalla peak. It is almost 9200 ft above from sea level. Paye Meadows is also best place for camping in summer.

This place is mesmerizing, cloud show is really in front of you and sometimes clouds are your partners in company. Siri paye top is the last place for jeep track if u wanna travel further forward from that point u will have to hike. For getting to siri paye top never use your own transportation or vehicle, only jeeps can travel that far on sloppy and rocky track even bike cant travel to that point easily with single rider. When u get there its a lush green top with numerous yellow and pink color flowers best for your photography. U can also stay there at night but only camping facility is available or u can stay in private camps. This is a worthy place and one of best tourism attracted people.

It's a beautiful place. I was lucky enough to get a snowfall and rain. The clouds were on the same level, at some point I thought we were sandwiched between them. As my visit was in November, all the grass had dried. Must be a spectacular view in spring. I hope to visit it again. The horse ride was also available.

  • 5/5 Dr. Muhammad Hassaan A. 4 years ago on Google
Popularly known as Siri Paye, these meadows are the most frequently visited place in the Northern Pakistan. Paye meadows is the final destination located on the top of mountain. It can be reached by walking up from Siri meadows that can be reached by jeep. It’s hardly two miles (3 km) walk from the Siri meadows. There’s a small lake that’s either covered in snow in winters or totally dried up in summers. Natural beauty is at its finest here with serene view of the skyline towards west. Sunset is too good to miss but descend becomes a problem in the dark especially if with family or large groups. There are many amenities like tea, coffee, pakoras and entertainments like horse riding are available. Tuck-shops though facilitate the tourists but have disturbed the natural beauty as well.
