This thermal power plant was built as an agreement of PPP govt run bt Baynazir Bhutto. It has production capacity of about 640 Mwatt. You can reach at Lalpir thermal power station via two ways. One from Chowk qureshi and other from Mehmood Kot - muzaffar Garh road. Public transport is also available till Mehmood Kot & Qasba Gujrat, but eventually to reach at Lalpir thermal power plant, you need to hire a private conveyance.
