The clock tower in the town of Shumen was built in the 17th century. It has a clockwork mechanism that still works to this day. It measures the time and announces the time every hour with a bell. No dial and hands are visible on the facade. There is also a built-in fountain, but in today's days it does not work. High above the fountain there are carved words and sentences probably in Arabic. It is easy to get there. The road passes in the immediate vicinity.

One of the rare Turkish works in Shumen. It's nice that it's still working.
