👍👍 Great place to learn more about Bulgarian history and culture. You can see examples of the early Bulgarian signs written in Bulgarian from 9-10 century AD.
I would recommend that visit the museum first then the ruins of then town. And do get a guide. Worth the visit!

👍👍 Loved it! Typical Balkan archeological site with no guides, no ropes barring you from touching, and really no rules at all. You're allowed to walk, climb and see as you wish.
The entry is 6 lev (3 usd) per person and covers all 3 sites and the museum.
There a small cafe with beer and soft drinks....
