A very nice place with a huge yard in which there are different areas for sitting, resting, eating, cooking and playing. For the children there is a slide, trampoline, swings, hammocks and a children's corner lined with books and lots of big plush toys there. The yard is very well maintained and landscaped. We were accommodated in the exact room we reserved. The kids loved the bed which you reach by climbing a ladder. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The water in the pool was not clean. We didn't use the jacuzzi, but the other visitors did, having asked in advance how many hours it would take to be ready. The restaurant offers cooked food, for breakfast we had a choice of freshly made pancakes or pancakes. Both options are delicious, so we ordered from both. There is an opportunity to prepare your own food, there are many grills of different types, the visitors there mainly cooked themselves. If the visit is related to a tour of the tourist sites in the area, I recommend choosing a not very hot period, because all the sights are outdoors (I exclude the museum buildings). The guest house was full and with so many people it is likely that some are noisier than others who need sleep. Therefore, the owners took care of everyone's comfort. The noisy companies gathered them at one end of the yard, where there is no room, so they did not disturb anyone :)

The landlady is kind, the food is delicious, only the room where it was dirty

I'm impressed! I did not expect such a nice and neat complex in such a place! The staff is also very kind and responsive!

The place has started to decline - they used to come to make breakfast, but not anymore, only after persuasion they made us coffee for breakfast. Otherwise, people are nice, but they don't care much. The rooms are nice, but we were in cool weather and there was no heating. The location is nice for a vacation, away from the city.

We had made a reservation for 4 days and on the day we arrived, we found out that the restaurant had suffered a fire and was not working. We gave up because there was nowhere to have dinner.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. Extremely poor hygiene. The toilet bowl had not been cleaned by the previous guests and it was a disgusting sight. The sheets smelled stale and I really doubted they had been changed. I hope at least they were changed. although they didn't smell freshly washed and fresh, but as if they had been in my grandmother's closet for 30 years. The bed was uncomfortable and with a spring. There was loud music until 4 in the morning and drunken performances. Even at 3 in the morning there was a knock on our door and it's a good thing that they didn't manage to wake up our child, who is small. We are extremely disappointed with both families who were there. The kitchen in the restaurant had closed at 9:00 p.m. and we never managed to have dinner, but when I think about it, it was well, given the poor hygiene everywhere. We were very, very disappointed. I have no words to express my outrage at all the misery that was everywhere! I hope less people are tricked into staying there!

Our experience was great! The local food and drinks we tried were beyond amazing. The owners are young and very friendly. Totally would reccomend!

Aleksandra is the best host ever! Great environment, great food, great drinks and ethnic atmosphere. If you are looking to have an amazing time and party hard - I definitely recommend this place to you! Also, the Shumen area offers wonderful opportunities to discover the old Bulgaria landmarks!

Вратата на стаята не се заключва. Има много комари, мушици и паяци. В ресторанта ни излъгаха в сметката. Закуската беше отвратителна.

Просто не ходете на това място !!! Занемарено , недостатъчно хигиенично , както в стаите за почивка , така и в санитарните възли .Лошо обслужване и високи цени , не съответстващи на качеството на храната .

Вот вроде все хорошо. И тепло, и вода горячая и тв работает, всё есть, но как то неютно. Комнаты не те, что на фото, поменьше, но с каким то монастырским шармом, занавески вручную разрисованы, на территории множество интересных штучек. Матрас на кровати продавлен, огромная яма на дне которой деревянные доски, не спали всю ночь, невозможно.

Къщата за гости е реновирана много стара къща и в стаята имаше доста неприятна миризма. Банята нямаше дори закачалка да си закачиш една кърпа. Топла вода имаше само първия ден от престоя ни там, а бяхме с малко дете. Закуската на втория ден беше баница с чай. Баницата беше напълно сурова и не ставаше за ядене. Приятелите ни бяха преди нас там и като влязохме в заведението ни казаха, че за чая има мед на бара. Готвача се беше запътил на някъде, но като го чу се върна, взе меда и го прибра в кухнята демонстративно. Вечерта бяхме сами в заведението и въпреки това, нещата от кухнята излизаха много бавно. Басейна е доста малък, 4-5м дължина и беше пълен с тиня и жаби плуваха необезпокоявано вътре. Джакузито беше затворено. Около къщата няма къде да се отиде и се стига по черен път. В селото няма аптека и трябва да се ходи до Шумен.

Стаята миришеше на мухъл и беше много влажна .Описанието на салатите в менюто не отговаря на сервираните.Половината ястия в менюто не бяха налични.Заведението се дава под наем за рожденни дни и музиката гърмеше до сутринта .Не се надявайте на сутрешно кафе или закуска ,просто няма кой да ги направи

I had a wonderful three-night stay in Bulgarka and would thoroughly recommend! 9/10. Communal areas: The rustic decor is stunning, with plenty of space to read, swim, eat, drink, relax etc. at your leisure. The pool is clean (cloudy appearance is from hydrogen peroxide tablets which keep the water free of bacteria) and there is plenty of place to lounge around in the sun. Cute dogs and cats roaming around! Beautiful flowers, grape vines, trees etc. Food: The food varies - it is not quite restaurant quality, but it is fresh, filling, and decently priced. They do breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, alcohol etc. on top of the room price (i.e. not included). There are options if you are vegetarian. I strongly recommend the catfish and the lentil soup, and they do a good tarator. Avoid the pig ears. Rooms: My partner and I stayed in a small but lovely room, away from the main communal area (which was not loud during our stay). The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Fan is provided. Toilet and shower are okay, although the toilet seat broke! Service: In our experience - impeccable. The owner and the waitress are both lovely, although unfortunately do not speak English (we had a Bulgarian friend with us). If you as guests are respectful of this place, you will be treated very well.

Perfect people for local people that enjoy this level of hygiene as adequate or for big groups of partying teen. I can't offer low points on location because it is well marked on the map so you know where you are going.

Bulgarka is already like a country house for us, we come here because the fresh air, silence, and we also love animals very much and here you can pet both dogs and cats) This summer a large pool appeared here - it's ideal because weather it's hot, and the children are happy. Extremely bad experience for our company. The owner was rude, rude and disrespectful. The heating was cut off at 11pm and we were freezing cold. Some rooms were fine but others had a bad smell. We were forced out of the main hall which was the most the warm room. We were accused of theft and that we left the BATHROOM wet and dirty. The house offers cozy rooms with constant heating, which we did not see and were shocked by the rude attitude of the owners.
