This used to be one of my favourite bars but it was such a disappointment coming back. The Manager’s attitude was rude and extremely strict on Entertainer redemption rules. They charge $6 for bottled water and even the peanuts (which used to be free) now costs $2.. ridiculous. Cocktails are meh so i would say just go for the 1-for-1 martinis and music til 3am.

Found this hidden Jem in Orchard! We had an amazing experience here and hence even went back with friends… there is wide range of martinis and cocktails available here, the snacks options go well with drinks…the ambience was really relaxing and there were interesting seating options!

Great ambience, lots of variety of drinks and food to go with them. I love the 1 for 1 martinis ($29), especially the jello martini. Love the fishballs ($12) $12 for fishballs??? Yes but they're so worth it. It's a pity they don't have peanuts anymore (to throw the shells on the floor).

No.5 Emerald Hill or 顺利 is a bar in between buildings. It brings a unique vibe from other modern bar. The songs are blasting but it is a whole new experience. It is two-storeys high and with seatings. Service staff will try their best to accommodate to your needs with the loud background. Another experience is that you can throw peanut shells on the floor freely within the shop.

I was at No 5 tonight for Halloween. It was a good, festive crowd. My Hendrick's gin and tonics tasted terrific and for a change of pace, I had their Four Cheese pizza, which was also really good. The DJ was spinning some fun music which helped the night fly by.

Understand the stress of limited seats during this situation but it will be nicer if your staff have empathy when replying. When I walk up to level 2, no one to usher us where to seat thus finding any available table by myself and out a the blue a waiter came over and exclaimed u have two only right, move over here. Hello am I a customer?

Great tasting cocktails. Great consistency to their drinks and food throughout my 10 years patronizing them. Must try their wings, especially good to go with beer. Their pizza are great too. Friendly bartenders who are willing to share some knowledge of alcohol when customers have questions.

Very cool. Wait staff managed to squeeze me a seat at the bar on a Saturday night. Music's pretty easy listening. Bartender was plenty accommodating for my custom drink request. Had a really good time overall.

Went twice on the same Saturday. One during the day for Earl Grey Martinis and second time during the evening for dry gin martinis as well as one full portion of chicken wings. Drinks are strong, chicken wings are really juicy and great. Service could be really slow. Would rate this place 4.5 stars if it’s possible due to the slow service. Overall a great place to hang out in Orchard.

5 star for the yummy fried wings! $22 for 6 drumlets and 6 wings (full portion). Pulled pork Pizza ($24) was okay but nothing to shout about though.

One of my all time favorite bars in Singapore with 1-for-1 martinis and really yummy fried chicken wings! The interior decor is really cool with red lanterns suspended above the bar area, but I prefer getting a table outside. It's one of the best places to people watch in Singapore!

Without a doubt definitely one of my favourite bars in Singapore. The soju martinis and mango martinis were very good and the music played was super fun. Overall, love this place and am always looking forward to coming back!

No. 5 Emerald Hill is an indoor beach bar. Bringing the beach close to you. The food and wine were top notch. I want to visit again soonest.

Wonderful grungy old-school decor, excellent location (central but also a little out of the way for a more quiet vibe,) and also fantastic menu drinks-wise, incorporating both the classical and experimental. However service is rather poor for an establishment of this level, with us taking pains to get the staff’s attention to get anything done. Would recommend with the caveat that you lower your expectations for being served on time.

I normally never make a post but i had an amazing experience with my family tonight. We only wanted to go there for a Sling cocktail for our last night in Singapore but the lady standing outside (owner i believe) was really nice and offered us the no.5 jelly martini to try. This was one of the best gin cocktail i have had and the jelly in the drink was a good little treat in it. Not to mention, the bartender was also really approachable. Next time i come Singapore i would definitely go back more to try other drinks.

This place will take you back in time. The drinks menu is vast and quite good. Overall good place to enjoy some drinks with friends.

Had forgotten this place existed and went after many years. Pleasantly surprised that they still have 1 for 1 martinis and the menu choices for them are still exceptional. Tried the watermelon vodka martini, lychee martini and espresso martini. Loved them all. Was also pleasantly surprised by the mutton samosa, went so well with the chutney and I couldn’t stop eating them. Look forward to going again for sure.

Entertainer 1-for-1 brought me here. Love how they retained the heritage of the original place with all the chinese 招牌s & "artifacts". Had their beef sliders & Parma ham pizza which wasn't exceptionally good but good enough. We waited about an hour for our pizza so to make up for it they gave us 2 free mango martinis 😄 Thanks for the service recovery effort guys 🙏🏼 really nice place to chill & there's a seating area with like cushions so you can like lie down to eat & chat lol. Overall a pleasant experience here. Would drop by to try more drinks next time😋

Get the New Bangkok Martini. I don’t care if you’re there alone or with another person, get 2 for $22 and taste the AMAZING chilli-infused vodka 🌶🍸 I don’t care what other drink catches your eye, but just get make sure you get anything with the Chilli-infused Vodka. It’s like one of the best cocktails I’ve had and it’s mind blowingly good 😩😩👌🏻👌🏻💦💦 I was like “hOw GoOd CaN tHiS bE?? 🤔🤔” But now LO AND BEHOLD, I’m convinced. It’s soooooo good. It tastes as if you’re drinking an alcoholic Asian dessert, and the spiciness brings about a nice kick without being too overwhelming. 10/10, will definitely be back for the chilli-infused vodka again. The ambience of the place is very cosy, nice place to sit around and talk while you have your drink (chilli-infused vodka). And the staff there are really helpful with giving recommendations (New Bangkok Martini, with its chilli-infused vodka). It’s a lovely place to take photos of and do ask them for permission to head upstairs and take some photos 📸 🌶🍸👌🏻

This place is amazing, serving one of the nicest chicken wings and pizzas I had at a bar. But the best thing is the 1-for-1 Martinis that definitely will get me coming back here for more!

My all-time favourite bar!!!!! Love their ambience and martinis - especially the lychee martini and earl grey martini. Their service is really good as well. Their onion rings are also one of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Great martini selection, easy to drink but potent enough to knock u down if you are not careful. The wings is pipping hot and crispy. Their Thin crusted pizza make you less gelat or full. 1 for 1 definitely is the drawing point.

All time fav place with a great martini to boot especially the local flavours like the jelly martini and pulut hitam martini.. so awesome. Their other martini like choya, peach also great.. food wise they have one of the best deep fried chicken.. ha cheong kai is like awesome.. the grandma ngo hyong also super sinful and good.. this place has been around many years since i was an undeage kid.. love the vibe and atmospher plus great place to have affordable good drinks.. always had a great time here. Totally should have a drink here at least once. They have other great drinks beside the martinis.

For just $2, you can order a small basket of peanuts and have the freedom to toss the shells on the floor. It's a unique way to keep the bar "clean". Additionally, the bar allows kids to dine in, which is "great". However, some of the servers tend to be inattentive and miss customers when they try to get their attention. If that happens, your best option is to approach them directly.

Love their fried chicken (har jeong gai) and they’ve wide variety of cocktail selections! The place is cosy and chill, suitable those who wants to catchup with friends! Btw their samosa is a must try!!! Crispy on the outside and packed with lots of mutton meat! 🤤

I loved the espresso martini. It's a small, cozy place for some drinks. The ambience was not up to my expectations. Their customer service is not that great from my point of view. But if you like to just have some great drinks, then its a fine place, i guess.

Cool place to come. Great atmosphere and you have to try the chilli vodka shots! Goes in hot and comes out hot the next day as well 😂

Revisited this place after Covid and so much has changed. The free peanuts 🥜 nibbling culture here is not more, but when I asked the staff about it she said they go for $2 per basket now, oh wells. I think they rearranged the seatings so level 2 is more quieter and has more space to sit and have proper chats with your friends, level 1 is the place to go if you wanna dance the night away 💃 Interesting choice of cocktails here, all 1 for 1 but they must be the same cocktails. Tried the ching tng and was pleasantly surprised.

Extremely disappointed with the staff that was serving me and my group last night. Some of us have been coming here frequently and have always enjoyed the drinks and the vibes of the place. But our night was ruined by a rude waitress that was serving us all night. She always approached us with an angry face and did not show any hospitality at all. I understand that she has a tough job to do but she did not need to be so rude to us. What ticked me off was when we asked for the bill she immediately charged my card without having me check the bill prior. I had left my card on a tab and the usual practice is for a bar to always have u check the bill before charging. She had to issue me a refund (not void the transaction) so I have to wait 2 weeks for the money to be back in my account because I had intentions of using a voucher which I did not have the opportunity to tell the staff about because no one offered me to check the bill beforehand. She also gave me a black face and was visibly upset when I told her to go ahead with the refund before charging me the correct amount. This really soured our night and made me really frustrated. It’s very disappointing to know that one of my favorite bars would leave me feeling unhappy at the end of the night.

Their martini is really good and the variety of martini they have is insane. The vibe of the place is chill and definitely will go back for more martini.

Pretty good place for a few cocktails. Came here when they had the cinco de mayo event going on, and there were hostess dressed like Mexican. Pretty hyped in there with all the music and dancing. But alas, I preferred to be outside on the patio for a chill vibe with the shop house facade.

Had gone there because I've been to the bar before and love the ambience, unfortunately the staff wasn't properly trained, maybe it's miscommunication, maybe it's not. I was there because a friend was leaving Singapore, and we wanted to take some personal photos, with my camera not photos meant for publishing in print or other media ( I know it is the case if its otherwise, but the staff could be nicer) but it wasn't properly relayed to the other staff. But anyhow, it could be better communicated in a nicer way. The drinks were decent, but experience could had been better.

The new leather stool with no backrest are a little shaky and uncomfortable. The fries are long and very salty. What you read is true, the bar does not offer free water so you have to bring your own water if you need. The Red Bean (Chuga Muscat Grape & Peach with Potong Red Bean Ice Cream) are quite delicious. Please note that they have loud (but not bad) music so expect to raise your voice to speak to your friend beside you.

They really have a wide range of martini mix.. even like the local favourite Chendol, Cheng ting. Very interesting and you will never get bored of coming again. Nice hang out with friends after work. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Very enjoyable.

Located this undiscovered gem in Orchard! The large variety of martinis and cocktails offered here, the snack options combine well with beverages, the ambiance was incredibly soothing, and there were fascinating sitting alternatives because we had such a great experience that we even returned with friends! I got their Prawn tempura, Onion rings, other delicious food

The place was beautifully decorated. They had a promotion on martinis. So evidently, the whole bar looked like they were having martinis only (haha). Customer service were great. The manager (i think) highlighted the must try of the night, and waitresses were constantly checking in to see if we’re doing alright. Ordered the qing teng martini (2 for $28, comes in a pair). Not sure whether i liked it though. It was great that i could taste the qing teng, however i felt like the alcohol did not blend well with it. So it was 2 distinct flavours in my mouth, instead of a good blend of one. However, the whiskey sour did save the night. It tasted amazing. Didn’t get the chance to try the food. Unfortunately, my skin was itching on the platform seat. When i left the place and had some light, it looked like i was bitten by bug(s). Perhaps management might want to look into that. Nevertheless, it’s still a cool place to try and would return again. Maybe just not the platform seats anymore.

My go to bar since 2020! Their drinks aren’t watered down and are definitely strong. Eric is also very friendly and decor is nice. However, seems like in 2022 they don’t serve water anymore (not even tap water), even upon request, which is very strange…would have ordered more drinks if i wasn’t thirsty for water. Had to go to somerset313 to get water. Their sney buey martini sure packs a punch, don’t underestimate it! 👍🏼

Multiple visits to this place because it is located just opposite 313! It's got a wide selection and affordable drinks! Always here to get some mojito after a long week and their fried chicken wings are to die for! The drinks are affordable but dont underestimate them 'cos they're strong! They used to give free peanuts in the past but Covid-19 happened. Love the interior as well! You've really gotta visit this place!

Generous portion of food. However, bad service. Esp the lady boss in short hair. Could repeatedly hear her scolding her workers about not seeing the group chat. Therefore she was in a bad mood, she came to my table with a very bad attitude mentioning that no outside drinks (i wasn’t even drinking my bottle of water) and we have a sharing glass pint of beer. No one offered ice water, they just took away my glass > therefore our table only left with a pint.

Ambience and food were good, but service standards were subpar and disappointing. We weren’t even served water upon arrival, unlike other customers who had water served to them immediately. Staff were slightly rude and unwelcoming as well. Hope to see some improvement on this.
