The best pasta and the best service in Singapore - hands down! We met the owner several times (thank you for the care and checking in on us with the wonderfully warm smile!) The food is unbelievable - please have the saffron and prawn ravioli, the potato gnocchi, and the Italian tart for dessert, and you won't have any regrets. Thank you Eva for being an absolute gem and giving us the constant attention and reccos that made our experience special. We will be back!

I did not eat here because I was solo.😐 However I did walk by many times because I was staying in the hotel right next to it. And last month I was staying in the hotel next to that hotel 🤭 I looked over the menu more than once and I spoke to one of the owners who is there every night.🙌🏻 This is definitely a place you want to enjoy with someone else.👩‍❤️‍👨 This is the one of several restaurants here in Robertson right the river! It is not right next to others or next to clubs with loud music. Other than bicycles and joggers it is peaceful to sit outside 😎 It is very romantic.🌹 It is very attractive. 🤩And having spent more than a month in Italy recently, This one has the vibe. 😃

Staff are great! Lasagna was amazing! Its a bit pricey for daily meals but its great for good homemade pasta craving. The pizza however was kinda disappointing was expecting more crunch and better base sauce. Potatoes also just average. But overall it was a good dinner, would comeback for the lasagna!!

Dinner at Rosso Vino was nice but could have been nicer if the service was upto the mark. I had made a reservation for a table for 4 pax and we were punctual. The initial table we were offered was kind of uncomfortable as it was placed on a slope and it felt awkward to be seated sideways. After requesting the host we managed to swap tables. The menu is nice and quite elaborate. We ordered a bunch of items, all vegetarian stuff for a change. The half and half pizza was nice, so was the burrata and the mushroom risotto was cooked very well. The Aglio Olio was just okay though. The primitivo red wine was gorgeous and was beautifully paired with the food, I thought. Tiramisu was nice and so was the chocolate lave cake with ice cream. Would be nice to dine here again and hopeful the service would be more attentive.

It's one of the places at the area *open after lunch*. Most of the places are closed for a split shift or whatever you call it. I was hungry that time so I was really looking forward to find something and it took awhile. The place was empty since it usually starts around the sundown and it will be overcrowded. So I decided to try it out. The view was nice, slightly windy. The food. It was alright. I wouldn't say the best or etc but I'm a picky customer and I love Italian food. The drinks. I got a bottle of prosecco. It was fine too. I do prefer the super dry wine in general. Service. Well. It was fine. I saw only one staff and I do understand the split shift or low Hours. So I didn't disturb him much. Overall it was a good experience. Will drop by at the busy hours to see them at ther best for sure.

Lovely atmosphere by the river that comes with a perfect, classy environment for date nights or small groups! Food portions are huge and deserving for the price and customer service is prompt and efficient. You can then take a slow walk by the river to unwind or head to the other numerous bars lined along the river too.

This is a Italian restaurant in Robinson Quay. I quite enjoy the food here, price is reasonable and the atmosphere is good. It's kind of by the riverside or canal river 😆. We ordered a seafood pasta, a mushroom and prawn risotto, a seafood soup, a plate of home made Italian pita bread with some olive, a soft drink and a cup of ☕. All the food were really good, and their service was excellent. The bill was 100+ sgd, so it was worth it. 😊 eating

Food was alright, nothing too unique or amazing. The risotto was not the best I had, would not recommend. The seafood pasta was pretty normal as well. The pizza and lasagna was good. The dessert was not my thing. The cocktails and ambience were amazing, food were served hot and fast. Love the calamari and burrata.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. Really appreciated the attentiveness and A+ Service of our server called Diana!!! Am also very grateful that they were nice enough to extend the happy hour to us (we missed it by only a few minutes) when they found out that it was my parents’ anniversary and my birthday - not all restaurants would do that but it goes to show how amazing their customer service is. That made our whole evening!!! Their full house tonight is testament to the wonderful experience we had - thank you so much ❤️

From the moment we were seated, Cyan set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Her warm and genuine demeanor immediately put us at ease, and her knowledgeable guidance on how to best enjoy our meal was invaluable. I was especially appreciative of how she took the time to explain the proper way to savor each dish, ensuring that every bite was an adventure in flavor. Having Cyan as our waitress was like having a trusted friend guide us through our culinary journey. It's rare to encounter someone so passionate and attentive in the service industry, and it's clear that she loves what she does. Thanks to Cyan, our meal was elevated from simply eating out to a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend asking for Cyan when you visit; with her by your side, your meal is guaranteed to be impeccable.

There’s no better pairing than great food and wonderful service! Food was delectable- hearty and light! Love the capellini and burrata pizza. Will be back to try the other items on the menu. The boss is warm and friendly. Eva, our host is an amazing lady who was exceptionally friendly, sweet and made us feel at home. Thank you for making my birthday all smiles! What a fantastic experience! Love that the restaurant is by the river and has accessible parking. It’s also only a 5min to 7min walk from Fort Canning train station.

My friend mentioned that the pasta and pizza from this place tasted as one gets in Italy. I had eyes for gnocchi but unfortunately the dish was ordered but never came, until we were almost done with dinner and requested for it again. Glad we had this version, which is oven baked in tomato sauce with Mozzarella cheese. Pretty good! The simple tomato based spaghetti was enjoyed by everyone in the group. For meat, we had the Baked Black Cod Fish, a fish dish from the Festive Chef's Special. This was good. The Gourmet Pizza al Vitello Tonnato is not my thing because of the tuna sauce. Veal made an interesting topping for the pizza. Dough was slightly chewy but still good. For dessert, I became a fan of their affogato. The coffee was strong and so satisfying with the ice cream. Staff were friendly and came by often to top up our water, or helped us to order somemore wine. Thank you for the limoncello to end the meal!

Established since December 2013 by chef Antonio Familiari and hotelier Salvatore Adaldo, Rosso Vino is a traditional and unassuming Italian trattoria, well-regarded for their warm hospitality and classic fare made using fresh ingredients. Ambience at Rosso Vino channels the trattoria vibe; casual, rustic, and relaxing. Offering both indoor air-conditioned and outdoor al-fresco seating options, accomodating up to 100 people, this casual restaurant is decently comfortable and suitable for lingering meals. Sturdy wooden furnishings, warm spot lighting, and shades of crimson, mahogany, grey, and medallion colours lend an intimate feel, while the well-stocked wine shelves beckon invitingly. Service at Rosso Vino reflects the trattoria style; warm, polite, and friendly. Led by General Manager Carlo Mazzaglia, the experienced senior staff engage readily in friendly banter, and demonstrate deep product knowledge, able to describe dishes. The junior staff may lack the requisite knowledge, but make up for it with chirpy willingness to assist and proactive enthusiasm. Orders are introduced as they're served, and I note staff quickly clean up when diners leave. Food at Rosso Vino features classic Italian trattoria dishes; homely, comforting, and authentic. With a focused menu of Italian favourites with options for gluten-free and vegetarian, Head Chef Francesco Serra and the kitchen team ensure each plate is a delight with its simplicity and fresh ingredients. Portions are sized for individuals, but are certainly suitable for sharing. Prices are moderately affordable as befits a trattoria, budget about SGD $62 per person for a 5-course meal.

Very very impressed by both service and food. Staff were constantly checking up on us and ensured our experience wasn’t dampened by the rain and wait for a table. If you’re a seafood person, the risotto or lobster bisque pasta won’t disappoint. The funghi penne was also a good pick.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to in Singapore. Beautiful ambiance, tasty food , above and beyond service. We were initially not happy with the table, the manager was kind enough to find another one inside. Next , my friend was not completely happy with the food and the manager offered her to order whatever she wanted from the menu. She ordered a lasagna next and loved it! Cyan was very attentive and always ensured to refill our glasses. She made us laugh every time she attended to us and clicked a bunch of brilliant pictures for us ❤️ Icing on the cake was when manager offered us an umbrella as a gift because it was raining (How thoughtful!). I have never been so pampered in recent times. Will definitely be back very soon and highly recommend. Great job team!

We were quite overwhelmed by the ratings given to this restaurant and decided to come for a try of their food. Location is great because it is located right beside the river and it does provide you dine in or outside to enjoy the view. We ordered Pizza, Risotto and Tomato sauce pasta. The food were not that great as decribed by the rating, but were all decent.

My pics don't do justice to the ambience and service at this place. Food is absolutely impeccable and Organic Chianti added to the charm of the place. Loved the mushroom porcini penne and the spaghetti with lobster bisque and crab (would have loved chunks of crabs to add to rich flavor). Would definitely go back.

If there was a 6th star to give for service, I would. Though crowded on Valentine's Day and expectedly had to wait longer for seats & food to come, believe the owner knew we were eagerly waiting & provided drinks & some food in the interim! Food was good, especially the pasta and appetizer with smoked duck & cavier on bread (Valentine's day set). Thank you too to Cyan for helping us take multiple photos as well! Guess they are passionate & can feel the love in their "acts of service" ☺️ ❤️

Great italian restaurant with good vibes & amazing food to chill with your friends. Loved the calamari and pasta the most! Special mention to Sheryl, she was really kind, friendly and attentive to our requests. She noticed how the weather was warm outside and switch on the fan for us. Gave us good recommendations for the dessert and she was right, the Tiramisu was great! Thank you Sheryl. :)

Highlight: Worth Italian food and enough quantity if you opt for Set Lunch Menu Took my team for Lunch and found the Set Lunch Menu good enough with assortment and quantity. Like Alfredo Pasta and Bruchetta. Caesar Salad should have more Chicken Chunks. Focacia portion is really big for appetizer which is goof for 3. Good Food and taste.

Cool Italian restaurant to hang out in, nice spot to people watch while enjoying a nice me. Service was fine. Our main server shared with us his pet dog stories after seeing I brought mine. We have a good conversation. Good variety on the menu. Mixed of value wine/Prosecco and expensive ones. Had a side mushrooms which is very forgettable. Otherwise, no complains on the food. Minor comment, perhaps the restaurant can consider reserving normal tables instead of high table for customers bringing their pet. I can’t even pet my pet during the whole meal without getting down. And I did indicate that I’m bringing a pet dog when the restaurant confirm the reservation with me.

Quite authentic Italian food in a very relaxed setting where the outdoor seating is right by the river. Ordered the beef sirloin medium well and it was really tender and done to perfection. Seafood spaghetti comes with prawns and scallop that carries a unique authentic Italian flavour and spices. Recommend to finish the meal with Tiramisu. Overall, one of the most satisfying meal and it almost felt like we were in Rome itself 😋

The first time that we ended up at Rosso Vino despite it being not far from where we live. The restaurant was packed (glad we made a reservation!) We ordered the Bruschetta and it was a pleasant surprise to see there were 3 different types - one standard with tomatoes, one with truffle (my fav!) and one with tomato and mozzarella. A pizza with Parma ham and a Vegetarian pizza - the best part of the veggie pizza was that the cheese was veggie too (if u know, u know!) made with microbial rennet soon a total win! A bottle of Prosecco to wash it all down and a lava cake with vanilla icecream. GOOD Food, and great service by the very friendly (& funny!) Maria. Thanks Maria, we’ll definitely be back! It’s hostesses like you that make all the difference to a good restaurant. Cheers!

🔥"FLAMING" Vulcano Pizza🔥 So exciting to see your pizza served to you in flames, literally! Rosso Vino has just launched a veg version of this HOT item! Rosso Vino is consistently ranked as one of the best Italian restaurants in Singapore and they have just clinched the Best of the Best 2021 TripAdvisor award. They are famous for their pizza, pasta and alfresco dining by the Singapore River. They cater to gluten-free and vegetarian dietary needs and with MORE than 20 clearly-labelled vegetarian selections! Check out their full menu at their bio link. ✅Meet the Vulcano Pizza!🌋 This pizza is an homage to Salvatore and Carlo’s birthplaces. Salvatore was born in Napoli, at the feet of the majestic Vesuvio and Carlo in Catania, overlooking the glorious Etna. The best part about this dish to me would be the flammable Spirit that is sweet with an alcohol kick. This added a unique punch to a pizza dish. ✅Penne al Tartufo e Funghi Porcini Impressive! Penne in porcini mushroom and truffle sauce. They nailed this dish perfectly both in taste and texture. If you love creamy and rich truffle and porcini mushroom, you will love this! ✅Parmigiana di Melanzane. Oven-baked sliced eggplant layered with mozzarella, parmesan cheese and tomato sauce. ✅Tiramisú Traditional dessert made with ladyfinger biscuits layered with mascarpone cheese and espresso coffee.

It’s a very nice Italian restaurant with an authentic food. I was visiting with an Italian wife. All dishes we ordered were made according to the traditional recipes. Pasta was cooked perfectly, the steak was also good, done in Italian style. It is especially plausible that the owner was working in the restaurant alongside with his team. Such involvement tells you a lot about how much effort they put in providing best dining experience and it shows that they care about their craft. Grazie Salvatore dalla Sicilia 🥰

Saw that this Italian restaurant had so many consistent 5 star reviews so decided to book it for a Christmas early dinner date. Sad to say, our experience was very different; we were told to finish before 7 which was the next reservation time slot for the table. Host then proceeded to place the holder stating the time as a “reminder”. Rude/aloof service staff together with under seasoned handmade pasta left us in utter disappointment despite the festive occasion.

Visited Rosso Vino based on the high ratings on Google (4.7 stars). Unfortunately, the food is not up to 4.7 stars bar at all. We ordered fettuccine in pesto sauce with prawns, beef tenderloin steak and Capricciosa pizza. None of them impressed us at all and we are totally disappointed. The fettuccine pasta was not cooked long enough and we asked the chef to cook again. How can a 4.7 stars restaurant failed to serve al dente pasta? As for the steak, the amount of sauce provided is pathetic as you can see in the photo. For pizza, we have a high expectation for an authentic Italian experience. Unfortunately it is rather bland and there are quite a number of Italian restaurants serving better pizzas in SG... The overall experience is underwhelmed. It makes me confused how this restaurant can get such a high rating.

I ate 2 home made menu and a sirloin steak and all three of those dishes were super yummy. Pasta noodles and ragu are definitely home made since their chewy texture is very soft and feels silky on my palate. The steak was juicy and the truffle sauce goes so well with it.

Excellent food! I managed to try several things during my visit: 1. Bufala E Prosciutto - The mozarella is served as a ball - and it is soft and quite mild in taste. The prosciutto gives it that nice contrast - fatty, chewier, and slightly saltier. Very good as an appetizer. 2. Carpaccio di Manzo - Slices of raw beef served with salad topped with parmesan cheese and croutons. The raw beef slices are good. 3. Insalata Pere E Gorgonzola - Vegetables topped with walnut and chunks of gorgonzola cheese. The cheese has its unique taste which is quite enjoyable. Drizzle the salad with some olive oil served on the bottle. 4. Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina - The pasta is less chewy. I particularly enjoyed the tomato sauce, which is tangy and has small pieces of ground tomato. It is also topped with melted mozarella, and it all blends well creating a very enjoyable pasta dish. 5. Prosciutto Crudo E Rucola - Thin-crust pizza topped with tomato-based sauce, mozarella cheese, prosciutto, and wild rocket. The combination is an excellent one, very well balanced both in flavors and texture. It was overall an enjoyable meal and they also have quite a few selection of alcholic drinks to finish your meal if you'd like to.

Always great food at this place no matter what we choose. Ambience is good too as it’s at the quieter end of Robertson Quay and has a nice view of the CBD. Sometimes services is mixed but the managers are on top of it and fix any issues.

Next to Robertson Quay Hotel. There are inside tables and terrace tables at river side. Good location. They open early afternoon like 3pm and close at 1am(before covid). Between lunch and dinner time, hard to find restaurant, it's convenient. Food, Wine are enough selections and so so or more better. Service quality is depending on staff. Compare to Robertson walk main area, here is calm and not too many people. Comfortable.

Food & services are average. Good location with cosy indoor tables & chill outdoor area (with trees & river). We dropped by during non-peak hours, so service is not as bad as reviewed. However, most 5-star reviews seem to be fake/bought, which is a bad thing.

Amazing staff. They greet you with smile and highly professional and experienced in recommending food and wine. Most of the stewards and chefs are Italians, which makes this place more authentic. Nothing special, mediocre Italian food. Was looking forward to an amazing meal only to be served an under average meal. The taleggio bruschetta looked and tasted like an microwaved dish. The homemade gnoochi was not homemade and could be bought from the supermarket, had no taste. Quite upset with the outcome. Service was mainly to order and when asking for the bill, no check ins. Location of course was lovely, along the river and away from the crowd.

Charming location and good service. MY experience with the food was a bit mixed though. The Burrata was excellent but the spaghetti aglio olio just lacked any flavour. The dessert was nice with the lava cake. Right across the SRT , its very convenient to be here after / before catching a play. Quiet well patronised by the looks of the full tables even while technically in the midst of a pandemic

Nothing exceptional. I have had much better italian food at other places at way better price. Limited staff, so had hard time finding one when we needed service.

I really wanted to love this place given its amazing ambiance. all the reviews on here also seemed good so I was excited but the food was so mediocre and bland.. my pasta had almost no flavour. same with the bruschetta. not sure if it was just our luck or what but I've had much better Italian food in other places.

Had an amazing night with the team despite heightened restrictions. Carlo, Giovanni and team made the whole process enjoyable. Have great wine and top food (savoury carbonara, cheese platters, pizza) alongside one of the country’s most iconic riversides. 100% will come back again and multiple capacities.

It is a decent for a date or hanging out with friends near Robertson quay area. We sat outdoors so it give a pleasant view of the lights and the different people doing their own thing. I order a tomato cheese bruschetta, wine, 5 cheese pizza, gnocchi and a panna cotta. I would definitely recommend the pizza and gnocchi but the bruschetta was very average.

Arrived at 6.20pm for 6.30pm booking. Restaurant 80% empty. Arrogant Italian waiter with piercings was so angry because I have asked not to be seated on the foot path. Yes you understood correctly. They have tables literally on the foot path where people walk by next to you. Is it not ok to ask a simple question as a customer? Won’t come again. Rest of waiters and waitresses are fine. Food: Calzone 2/5 Burrata 4/5 Calamari 2/5

Amazing pasta and pizza with great ambience. Outside sitting is great by the canal. This restaurant is slightly at the end of the Robertson quey. Authentic Italian food. We had spaghetti agli olio, chicken parmigiana, margarita pizza and drinks. Everything was awesome. It’s also not very expensive. Will visit again.

Food was good but mood was spoilt by a middle-age waiter. Was assigned an outdoor seat despite reservation in advance. We were also made to sit on wet chairs. 😕

Food and portion was good. Parma ham was not as saltish as other pizza places I have eaten. Delicious angelhair lobster pasta. Enjoyed the food! You could also purchase a $50 voucher for $40 or $100 on Chope. Location was very nearby Fort Canning MRT, downtown line.

(Translated by Google) A very authentic Italian restaurant. I decided to give it a try after reading the good reviews. Pizza is very authentic, and friends who like Risotto in Italy must try his seafood risotto. The only downside is that the service attitude is not good. The service ecology of several foreigners in Counter is still quite good. It is a pity that the person who served us that day was a character in black and a manager who was visually inspected. His attitude was very unfriendly and a little disappointed.

The pasta dish was really good..handmade and al dente, very fresh. The pizza was really doughy and not crispy but still passable in terms of flavour. Ambience is great and windy at night. However, the staff were not attentive at all (except this Italian guy who was really sincere and good), their back was facing us and we had to wait a long time before anyone came, the staff acknowledged seeing our call but never came over..hope you can give some training to your service staff or hire more staff..seeing all the reviews here, it is pretty clear that the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Actually the pizza wasn't that bad, just the staff serving could be a bit warmer in their attitude as someone said. Price is okay given the location.

Had a wonderful evening with my friends here. The restaurant is strategic and near to the hotel. Food is excellent and our server Cyan is extremely friendly and helpful, she helps arrange our food for us to take a better photos, love that for her! Overall, it is a great experience, highly recommended!

Our family had a celebratory dinner here on Saturday night. We reserved a table a few weeks ago and we were very happy with the excellent Italian food served as well as fine service. Good job to the chef! The only disappointment was that we were given an outdoor table for a party of six and we didn't know that our table was in "smoking area". All was fine until another guest sat at our next table for two and she was smoking throughout our dinner. What made it worse was that the only fan blowing at us was directly overhead her table and we were exposed to more secondary smoke. It was supposedly a wonderful evening for my family but it was ruined. Will I return to this restaurant again? Sure yes, for the food, but next time I will insist on indoor seating...
