I was skeptical as the menu was very extensive. Thought the food would be bad as there are just too many different items on their menu. But wow I was surprised how every item we ordered was delicious. Pasta was done well. Pizza was good. Calamari good. My only complaint was the mussel - half of them were closed. Couldnt eat much. Love the bandung grass jelly. They play happy birthday music if you are celebrating there!

Good ambience, good food. Very satisfying portion. Satay well seasoned and marinated, crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the insides. The service staff very accommodating. Very near to Sultan Mosque.

What happened to the food quality and service crew after you guys re-opened at Kandahar street? The Menu changed and the food was below average. The ramen was so bad i barely even touch it. I’d rather have Maggie mee and it will taste so much better. While i was dining the crew at the back we making a ruckus having fun mixing cocktail drinks and totally disregard the customer who was dining in. In short, this will be the last time i’ll be dining there. I loved this place before but after today, i would rather dine someplace else.

Great random find. This place is best known for its tulang (also known as mutton bone marrow). This is a halal establishment, so no alcohol. Reservations are a must and seatings are 6pm, 7.30pm and 9pm, with dining time limited to 1.5hrs. The service staff are friendly and helpful. Ambience is nice and cozy. The battleship is value for money and can be intimidating if one doesnt like bread. Highly recommended for family dining with kids.

Like the taste of curry and Tulang , The Battleship, I don’t like the base, it’s thick and no texture. Salad was fresh and generous with smoke salmon, be aware of the sweetness of sauce that served separately. My hubby poured all in and it is too sweet for our taste. Thai tea was not good as it doesn’t taste Thai tea. Coffee was decent. Service was fast

Good restaurant with variety of dishes from Asian, Fusion and Western. My family go-to spot for celebrations to cater to a diverse age range. Recommend their Toolang and spaghetti, I thought they were had the right kind of spice and well done. Shared the dishes and it as a great meal that cost $160+ for 6 pax with drinks. However, place is kinda cramped up if you have big groups all around, so definitely recommend for you to go during non-peak hours. Reservation can be done through their WhatsApp chat. Overall, good service and good food!

The Nasi Minyak Dhum TTT family set for 4, specially put together, from the tender Ayam Masak Merah to the aromatic Spiced Prawns. The Egg Sambal adds a delightful kick, while the comforting Dalca Mutton and refreshing Pajeri Nenas showcase the diverse range of flavors. The Acar Buah provides a tangy balance, and the meal concludes on a sweet note with the delightful Bread Pudding.

If you’re expecting the type of tulang you find at the Indian Muslim stall, you’re not getting it. The toolang they serve has its own unique taste, and of course very delicious! Their buffalo pizza was great too. I also ordered their burger macho but it didn’t come warm. It was such a big portion with lots of fries that I couldn’t finish it. The staff were very friendly!

Was here for a dinner on Friday evening and it was nearly full house inside the restaurant so we sat outside under the fan. The waiter kept speaking in Malay as if he had issues in English. He also didn't tell us that one of the beef side dish listed in the menu for two pax would not be served to us as it was only meant for 4 pax orders only. We browsed through the menu repeatedly contemplating our order. But as fancy and as delicious the menu looked, I was disappointed with the taste and quality of food. We ordered nasi minyak lamb shank as the waiter recommended that to us. The lamb shank curry was just very mild, and felt it needed to cook through longer to rid of the rawness of the spices. While the portion was large (good if you are a big meat eater), the lamb shank meat was a struggle to get to as it wasn't tender enough and needless to say, we didn't get through it all as it was on the tough side to cut through. The curry also had a tinge of sweetness to it. The two pieces of grilled prawns were so not fresh and had almost overcooked to the extent they were so mushy that I didn't feel I has tasted prawn. Also, the rice platter with raita was served first and sat on the table for almost 5 minutes before the lamb shank curry was brought out. By the time we got to serving ourselves, the rice had gone cold. The waiter also brought out our creme brulee while we were in the midst of our main course and would have been nice to serve it after we were done with the mains. They have definitely invested heavily on their menu booklet and as glamorous as all the dishes looked in it, I can't say I would go there and dine again as the first visit wasn't up to my expectations.

Disappointed with the food actually. Wagyu beef cut was really dry and hard. Lamb chop was not fresh. There’s a strong smell on the lamb. Inedible. Really not worth the price I’m sorry. Ordered Thai Ice tea.. too much cinnamon taste. Too much pesto sauce on spaghetti.. Apart from that, staff was really friendly and attentive.

Wanted to go try the Nasi minyak and hence head down . Surprised menu has extensive collection of pizza , burgers and pastas. I got the Nasi goreng with grilled chicken , the Nasi goreng was packed with flavours and chicken was well grilled and had seasoning on the outside . Feedback, when rice was cold , rice tasted tough like centre was not cooked thru but if you like al dente you may like it . Dining partner had the Nasi minyak with lamb ribs , rice was nice and light , served with side of papadum and Yoghurt. The lamb ribs easily slipped out of the meat which was good but the meat was cold on the inside, not properly warmed . Why this review is getting 3 star n not 4 as one pieces of chicken drumstick was not fully cooked Ordered a side of Ayam masak Merah, thought it would be like chicken thigh but it came in 4pieces , 2 piece of chicken wings split , fried and coated in gravy hence the aroma of the sauce was just on the chicken skin.

Waiting time can be long. If you're coming with a group you might be waiting alot for your food to arrive. Here's what we tried. The bomb wings, the bomb burger and the aglio olio pasta. I honestly like the pasta and burger best. The wings weren't so great. The pasta was spicy but not too spicy. Portions were generous in my opinion but the waiting time was abit too slow. Many other customers were complaining about the long wait. We also got the lychee mint drink which was really refreshing. I liked it alot but do remember to stir it.

The food we ordered is great, the portions are great. Fish & Chips ($15.50) - fish is thin and crisp while the fries are done just right, Cream basil beef bacon ($18.50) - very tasty and they were generous with the beef bacon, Toasty garlic cheese bread ($6.90) - the toast is crispy and the garlic and cheese combination taste great.

Service was good, food came quite quickly. However, I feel like the food was not as good as before. I wouldn't say that it's bad, but I definitely remember it being much much better before this. They also did some reno to the place and I feel like the ambience that was once really nice to dine in, was not as nice now. Had the soft shell crab creamy pasta and bomb pizza. Bomb pizza had too much cheese, but still tasted okay. Cheese overpowered the taste of the chicken. The creamy pasta didn't have that much of a "kick" to it, and there was only 1 softshell crab in the dish with no other proteins. For $20+, not that worth it I feel.

I came here slightly more than 2 years ago and it was really good. However, this time, the standard for their tulang has dropped considerably. From the taste of the tulang, we could tell that it was boiled in plain water, which removed a lot of the the natural salts in the lamb meat and made it lacklustre. Although it would be best if the tulang was cooked in the gravy, we understand if capacity is a problem. However, the water used to cook the lamb should be seasoned well (avoid over salting too) to prevent this problem. The avocado gula mekala was also extremely sweet and the avocado tasted unripe. Cream tea was also much worse than what I had previously, with the tea being overly sweet without any tea taste. Hopefully the owner will take action to rectify this because it's very disappointing.

They have mastered the art of right bread-to-sup tulang proportion with the dish "Destroyer". The downside is that usually we eat the dish with baguette, but hey this chewy flat bread is pretty good as well. I had the rootbeer with cream as well, which was pretty nice. Definitely will come back and try other dishes.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary at the Marine Cove outlet. The decorative lights were so dreamy and the staff were attentive and polite. It was the perfect place for a romantic night out or just to dine with loved ones. We had wagyu cubes, beef bone marrow, shrooms, fries....they were all just so GOOD. You will be spoilt for choice by all the options they have. Couldn't help smiling while walking towards the beach for a stroll after such a feast. Definitely on my top favorite list!

Staff are friendly. The shop should increase manpower of serving & cooking staff for weekend so it can reduce the waiting time to take up an order & served. Secondly they should served the people who ordered first. We saw two families who ordered after us received first. Naturally in my opinion is abit unfair. We have to wait like 25-30 mins for us to receive food. The staff did apologize in advance for the delay of food. This clearly show their professionalism. Unfortunately, less working staff = high waiting time = naturally you will have negative feelings. Nasi Goreng Ayam Percik set is sedap and recommended. Salmon Teriyaki set is also sedap and recommended. Nasi Goreng Baby Toolang: the tulang abit weird taste and the sotong is abit bland. Roast Beef Pepperoni: abit hard to chew but overall okay okay. Drinks are perfectly fine. Overall, food is good but waiting time not that good. We will still come back but maybe will try different dishes. Don't be disheartened with our feedbacks. The overall could be better if there is an increase of manpower.

Crab Ramen ($13.90) (4.5/5⭐️) Did you know that Tash Tish Tosh @ Kandahar Street has re-opened with a new menu starring (amongst other things) ramen, bibimbap rice, and bubble tea? As a ramen fan, I decided to try the ramen which was good! Though the menu does not specify what the type of soup base the ramen is, it is akin to miso and was really flavourful. Ramen noodles come in different forms and the ramen noodles here is slightly thicker than your usual thin ones. The toppings include crispy nori seaweed and wakame seaweed, corn, oyster mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, tamago and crispy soft shell crab which you won’t find elsewhere! All in all, I enjoyed the ramen and @tash_tish_tosh’s new menu at Kandahar Street is worth a try! Malay-inspired American cuisine 🥹✨ Located at Kampong Glam area, this spot serves a variety of Malay-American fusion food from pasta, pizza, nasi minyak to bubble tea🧋 Here’s what we had! 🌟 Mee Goreng with Angus Ribeye ($21.50) Upgraded version of mee goreng. This sweet spicy rendition comes with Angus beef cubes and edible flowers 🌸 One of the prettiest mee goreng dish I’ve seen! 🌟 Red Bone Toolang ($22.50) Famous for their mutton bone marrow (tulang merah), this is slow pressure baked for 12 hours. The rich savoury gravy and bone marrow is best paired with parmesan bread. If you’re afraid that this is too much, they also have a curry baby toolang which comes in a smaller serving 🍖🔥 🌟 Satay Mix Platter ($21.90) For the satay platter, we had a mix of chicken and mutton 🍢 The flavourful tender chicken ones turned out to be a crowd favourite 🫶 Other dishes that we had include the Meathead Pizza ($19.90) 🍕 and Signature Bomb Buffalo Wings ($11.50)🍗 Overall, there is a wide variety of dishes here. Besides the Kampong Glam branch, they are also located at Marine Cove. Do check out this unique halal restaurant if you’re in the area! 📸 Instagram/Tiktok: @myfoodframes
