Was
here
for
a
dinner
on
Friday
evening
and
it
was
nearly
full
house
inside
the
restaurant
so
we
sat
outside
under
the
fan.
The
waiter
kept
speaking
in
Malay
as
if
he
had
issues
in
English.
He
also
didn't
tell
us
that
one
of
the
beef
side
dish
listed
in
the
menu
for
two
pax
would
not
be
served
to
us
as
it
was
only
meant
for
4
pax
orders
only.
We
browsed
through
the
menu
repeatedly
contemplating
our
order.
But
as
fancy
and
as
delicious
the
menu
looked,
I
was
disappointed
with
the
taste
and
quality
of
food.
We
ordered
nasi
minyak
lamb
shank
as
the
waiter
recommended
that
to
us.
The
lamb
shank
curry
was
just
very
mild,
and
felt
it
needed
to
cook
through
longer
to
rid
of
the
rawness
of
the
spices.
While
the
portion
was
large
(good
if
you
are
a
big
meat
eater),
the
lamb
shank
meat
was
a
struggle
to
get
to
as
it
wasn't
tender
enough
and
needless
to
say,
we
didn't
get
through
it
all
as
it
was
on
the
tough
side
to
cut
through.
The
curry
also
had
a
tinge
of
sweetness
to
it.
The
two
pieces
of
grilled
prawns
were
so
not
fresh
and
had
almost
overcooked
to
the
extent
they
were
so
mushy
that
I
didn't
feel
I
has
tasted
prawn.
Also,
the
rice
platter
with
raita
was
served
first
and
sat
on
the
table
for
almost
5
minutes
before
the
lamb
shank
curry
was
brought
out.
By
the
time
we
got
to
serving
ourselves,
the
rice
had
gone
cold.
The
waiter
also
brought
out
our
creme
brulee
while
we
were
in
the
midst
of
our
main
course
and
would
have
been
nice
to
serve
it
after
we
were
done
with
the
mains.
They
have
definitely
invested
heavily
on
their
menu
booklet
and
as
glamorous
as
all
the
dishes
looked
in
it,
I
can't
say
I
would
go
there
and
dine
again
as
the
first
visit
wasn't
up
to
my
expectations.
