First time to Lingzhi & maybe last time. We ordered Christmas Set meal at $68 per pax & it served “fine dining” portion. The appetiser is a tiny roll of premium veg roll. The truffle brown rice, bird nest soup with mushroom & premium veg are of normal portion only. The rest are miserable 1 piece portion such as the yam cheese croquette… thus we ordered extra sides such as mapo toufu, noodles & brown rice to fill our hunger. These amounted to $400 plus for 4 pax. Worse is not the overpriced. Worse is the attitude of the waitress auntie. She asked us can we open the private room door & that we agreed since she struggled to open the door to serve the dishes, but I wondered why they do not have serving trolley since they have an AI robotic trolley…. & then we went further to demand us to open the connecting door as she said it is very troublesome for her to serve one room then the other. She said this will make it easy for her. Can you imagine, how we felt? Then why we requested for private room right? We are looking for a safe conducive environment acceptable to us to have our meals. 3 are elderly except me. So ….I am just replied her that she can just continue to walk here & there lo. I really got no mood to engage in a conversation since we are hungry & felt compromised. Thus, she left the connecting door closed. So should we thank you for that? Speechless. I can’t forget the word she used, “troublesome”. So you be the judge whether is $400 plus worth it or not, inclusive of service charge too.

Horrible service. I ordered S 35 dinner set at 6:08pm, till 7pm, only 2 dished served. All clients in the restaurant had food to eat. They seem to forget me. Not until I asked a couple of times did they serve me 3rd dishes. I was eating alone. I think they do not care a single client’s experience since there are so many clients to service. Very disappointed. With tea, total S 45 charged. Totally not worth it! Food not worth it. Service horrible. Disappointed experience.

I didn't expect to find a restaurant tucked away on the fifth floor of Liat Tower. Rating this experience is challenging because while I appreciated the service, the dishes I sampled today were pretty average. Perhaps not a good day for the chef. Here's what I ordered from the à la carte menu: 1. Firecracker Monkey Head Mushroom 2. Sweet and Sour Button Mushroom with Green Apple 3. Chilled Spinach Wrapped in Seaweed served with Sesame Sauce - the sauce is a must for dipping the spinach 4. White Asparagus with Oyster Mushroom (off-menu) 5. Zha Jiang Noodles - pretty good 6. Crispy Charcoal Milk Roll

One of the few veg buffet places in Singapore. Been here several times for the a la carte dimsum buffet lunch. Taste is pretty good! Unfortunately the vegan options are not clearly labelled in the menu, and every single time I visit, every single staff I ask gives me inconsistent and conflicting information about which items contain egg, dairy, and honey... Hope this can be better clarified!

2 times here for corporate CNY luncheon, all dishes were unique, flavourful. Came back 3rd time for ala carte buffet. Decent spread, but many of their signature dishes/ desserts are not included. Fair for the price though. Approx $45 per pax after ++

We tried Ling Zhi Vegeterian base on Google search under the "fine dining" vegetarian restaurants. Most of the recent reviews were quite encouraging. By the end of our meal, we concluded that 80% of the dishes we ordered was not up to standards set by what we read from the reviews.☹️ The hot and sour soup tasted like the chef used more vinegar than water. Every spoonful came with a squinty eyed sour face. The taste of the black bean bitter gourd pot had a weird aftertaste and not appealing. Not from the bitterness of the gourd but almost a cleansing solution taste. The seasoning chef used for the stir fried French beans were weirder than the bitter gourd not sure if this is how they make these dishes usually or was it that our taste buds was somehow off? The worse dish was the deep fried tofu. The skins were too thick and elasticky. Not easy to chew through the outer skin, which overpowered with "popcorn chicken" seasoning. The tofu inside was bland and tasteless. We left on the table a pile of tofu skins on the plate and half the plate of tofu untouched. The only plus of this venue was the friendly and attentive staffs. The way they served the tea was quite unique too and the kale soup was tasty. Conclusion... we will not return for sure.. 😕

A very exquisite vegetarian culinary arts dining experience. I opted for the 5-course set menu B. The plating and food presentation was fabulous and the taste of the food was very well balanced and had a good mixture of different flavours and textures. Its ambience and environment is very nice and ideal for private events and business meals if you book their private tables. Although it's pricier, it's worth the money for all that you get to enjoy.

A restaurant that specializes in vegetarian dim sum and offers a delightful buffet lunch experience. One of the standout features of this restaurant is its wide array of vegetarian dim sum options. As a vegetarian, I often find it challenging to find a place that offers a diverse selection of meat-free dishes, especially when it comes to dim sum. However, this restaurant exceeded my expectations by providing an extensive range of vegetarian dim sum choices. The ambiance of the restaurant was another noteworthy aspect. The tasteful decor, soothing music, and comfortable seating created a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The dining area was spacious enough to accommodate large groups, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or friendly get-togethers. Overall, my experience at this vegetarian dim sum restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of a diverse and delicious selection of dim sum, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance made it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply someone looking to explore the world of vegetarian dim sum, this restaurant is an absolute gem. I highly recommend visiting to savor the delightful flavors and enjoy the top-notch service provided.

Reserved a room for my ROM and it was wonderful. They had a special set menu for ROM, but was able to customise it based in the dishes that we picked. The staff were really attentive and ensured that we were comfortable at all times. They also made sure to explain the dishes that was served each time. I highly recommend this place for the food and service. The mango fish and the charcoal tofu are really a must!

(review for cny package) food is ok, quantity of food is low, feel like got scammed. the staff is slow, one of them can be rude sometimes, and take their time. They said they are very busy, maybe due to taking in too much orders during cny. (other times) The vouchers mostly takes away the service charge and tax, and every time come back give voucher again. It is also quite crowded even in covid situation. Better to come during non holiday.

Poor service. Average food. Chope voucher limit to - ala cart item Fine. Reasonable. But the second rule - net food item must be $100 BEFORE gst & service charge (??? First time encounter lol) In the end, bill process was damn complicated. It took me over 15mins to settle it. No apology and staff seem impatient as well. Bought $200 voucher, initial total bill came up to about $180~ only. I was okay with not fully utilising it. But I was told that the NET food amount must be over $200 before I can use the voucher. In order to make the net amount (before gst & service charge) over $200, I paid additional $40+ in the end. 😅 finds it unreasonable. As I was trying to figure out the complicated bill, server Lily came and asked if I worked as an accountant. I find it sarcastic and totally toxic. BE WARNED if you are using Chope. BE WARNED if you are having brown rice too. I ordered a few dishes & 2 noodles. When topping up with rice, I requested 3 INDIVIDUAL white rice + 1 brown rice. I was told by my server the brown rice is fried. Naturally I expected the same tiny portion since I already order so much food. Turns out, it was a huge bowl of brown fried rice. (???) So big brown fried rice available but small bowl not available. Quite dumb As an experienced staff, you should know that the customer is only requesting for additional individual rice portion and inform beforehand. Very poor service and food came late too. Food presentation is fancier but taste average. Except the tofu was nicer. With the toxic server, inexperienced cashier and shady deal, would not recommend and will not be back. Note to staff: please be polite and genuine~ 🙏 No positive vibes in a place where it should be Zen. Would rather support other pure independent vegetarian restaurant than a profit oriented vegetarian restaurant under a non-vegetarian food group. Perhaps not a place for vegans. Mango sago I was forced to take away, only 1/4 full. Completely Speechless 🤷🏻‍♀️ Update: manager called to explain the situation politely after feedback. Turns out cashier made a mistake. Was promised better service next time. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anymore. Hopefully cashier and waitress will take note in future and no one else will have to go through the same thing.

Popular vegetarian restaurant for many years, in a very central location. Been visiting occasionally since young and decided to bring my elder relatives here for a meal during CNY. The quality of food is consistently good, though portions are quite small and had to add on dishes. The price is also pegged quite high probably due to the fame. Love their edamame beancurd. Service is average, felt they were not very attentive.

2nd time here and definitely will return. Both lunch and dinner buffets were worth it, with lunch having an emphasis on dim sum and dinner, zichar style dishes. But don't belittle their dimsum or dishes... You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and hard work of the chef in every dish. Even the tea served is splendid! It's specially formulated by the restaurant :) Special shout out to Hai Yan for going the extra mile to check in with us after every meal :)

Started buffet for 8 pax at 12.30. After first order, 2nd order onward was made at 1pm but was only keyed in at 13.17pm instead, according to receipt. Decided to go ahead and made a 3rd order in hope that food can be prepped ahead of time. however till 13.45pm only dessert was served and around 8 more dish has not arrive. Buffet ending time is 2.30pm. After seeing all the 5 star review my family had wanted to try out lingzhi food but this experience has made us regret our decision. if staff is short handed then its only normal to not accept more customer than what the store could handle. would not recommend for people to come during weekend

Called to make a reservation for 6pm (opening hour), which was confirmed. Turned up at 545pm to find the waiting area completely swamped in people, and the manager and staff refuse to allow anyone (senior, child, anyone) to step a single foot into the restaurant. This is in the middle of a pandemic. They also lost our reservation, and the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive even when we showed them our confirmation. ("I cannot find your number what", "you wait can"). They made us wait and refuse to give us further information on a wait time. I will not return, just based on this experience.

Nice presentation and tasty food. Unfortunately they are understaffed so they didn’t have enough time to serve each table. The dishes came out too fast, there wasn’t any coordination on the timing to serve each dishes. The whole table was flooded with all the dishes I ordered. They are trying their best to give personal touch though they are shortage of servers.

Really nice restaurant! The food is mostly vegan, the deserts can be vegan or vegetarian. The vegetarian desert was much nicer in my opinion! Ask the Aunties for their item recommendation because they were so helpful & so right!! This kind of place is only really for big groups. It’s all about sharing and tasting! The tables are huge.

Finally, a chance to visit this delightful restaurant with old folks. They loved the variety and taste, the clean and neat environment, and the very friendly staff. Dishes are thoughtful and unique, well cooked, and pleasant presentation. The portions are deceivingly small as you get filled up quickly with each delicious morsel. Switched to steamed brown rice for an even healthier option.

First time trying this vegetarian restaurant. Location is a bit hidden and usual to find. I have heard of this vegetarian restaurant as a very well-known yet long-established restaurant. Ww tried out during Day-2 CNY. Service staff are generally good. I like vegetarian food but for the dishes we ordered today as mostly their popular dishes. Taste wise not to my liking as it is a lot of fried cooking method, feel oily and unhealthy. You can't really taste the original taste of natural vegetarian ingredients. Price on a steep side. 5 of us cost $350+

Had the set menu, dishes are beautifully plated, loves the portobello although isn't a mushroom lover. Noodles really nice as well. Service really attentive, provides a shawl as well when the aircon gets too cold. Only drawback is the dishes came served too fast even before can finish the first dish and soon the table is all full with dishes getting cold. Provides kids bowl and cutlery.

Expensive!! Was $265 for 5 people, including 2 people eating for "free" thanks to a 1-for-1 credit card offer. We were still charged for the full taxes and service charge for the 5 pax; they just minused off $66 twice (base price per pax), which was a bit scammy tbh. BUT: everyone agreed it was probably the best Chinese vegetarian food they had. Presentation was just as excellent as the taste. However the dining room looks super dated for an upscale restaurant.

Nature cafe is wayyyy better. I couldnt believe how rude the server was when I ordered more dishes. The woman stopped me in the middle of my order and said, their dishes are big so no need to order so many since I was eating a lone. The food was pretty bland and oily. The green beans were probably my favorite dish. This place is around the corner from zara next to Hermes. Took me about 5 minutes to find it.

This particular outlet of Ling Zhi restaurant never ceases to amaze me with their creativity in their vegetarian dishes, the quality of food as well as the excellent service of the crew. I had dinner with some friends there and in spite of the current situation, the place was still crowded and reservation was required. Of course they had implemented temperature taking and hand sanitisation upon entry. We ordered quite a few dishes including appetizers and the very unforgettable dessert " yang zhi gan lu". The appetizer was a vegetarian "sushi roll" with sheets of seaweed wrapped tightly around parboiled greens and served on a platter with the most amazing white sesame sauce and bits of pomelo. Simply yummy! Simply creativity at its ultimate!! We had a kale soup which was just bewildering and very palatable. We tried the "san bei gu" as well as the daily special of sweet sour button mushroom with green apples which was just so amazing. Though a bit on the pricey range the food quality and impeccable service makes it all worthwhile (not forgetting a food voucher worth $50 with a minimum spend of $100). Highly recommended.

great food, & amazing price for lunch buffet! Only $25 - $30. Unfortunately a la carte for a family of 7 came up to $350. Overpriced a la carte, at $20 - $30/ dish. Some dishes could have a more distinct flavor, but for the most part I enjoyed the dim sum, salads, mock meats & soups. dessert was average. Chrysanthemum tea was so good. My go-to for vegan friendly buffet, but will avoid a la carte !

We ordered a set meal for 2 5 dishes and 1 dessert 🧁 The starter for soup was really good. Those kind that you drink already you feel nourish immediately. Remaining dishes was also good, initially I still think that it was too little coz of the portion but surprising slow eating is good 😌// service is good too no rushing you. The only bit that I think for us was that the carbo noodle was too oily. That kinda of kills the 1 star ⭐️ off this review.

Waitress was rude, sarcastic and talk down to us. Even though she’s a senior auntie, she should still show respect to her customers. Cashier made a mistake with chope deals. Took her over half an hour to calculate the bills and was told to pay extra as voucher does not cover gst & service charge. I was forced to top up money to hit the minimum spending for the vouchers I find that ridiculous. I feedback to the restaurant after that and they admitted that it was a mistake and voucher is for total bill amount. Instead of offering a refund, they only gave an apology. Later on, offered voucher when I explained that it was unfair. Manager was polite and try to persuade me to go back and collect the voucher. However, I’m hesitant after such a negative experience and I don’t wish to patron a restaurant without respect and integrity anymore. I’d rather support a pure vegetarian outlet instead of a vegetarian restaurant under a non-vegetarian group. Food wise, presentation was nicer but taste is considered average. Overall, I find the place overrated.

Vegetarian definitely will visit this restaurant. Been a while I have not been Lingzhi. Surprisingly their menu changed and improved. I tried their ala carte buffet, the food taste good. Still there is room to improve, the Dim sum can be better, rather than all dim-sum fillings taste the same

Some items like vegetable pau, vegetable dumpling and mango pomelo were good. What was disappointing was mostly the fried items, like carrot cake and curry puff, which were served disgustingly cold. Service was mediocre, nothing to complain about but also nothing spectacular to laud.

(Translated by Google) The vegetarian ala carte buffet here is special and taste delicious. Recommend for it as the price is reasonable and buffet menu all are cook on the spot. The staff here super friendly. The all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet here is so delicious. The first time I ate this buffet, every dish is cooked to order, and the price is reasonable, not sky-high. Very satisfied with the service attitude of the staff here. (Original) The vegetarian ala carte buffet here is special and taste delicious. Came here twice so far and really enjoy the food. Environment: A bit hidden but easy to find, very nicely decorated. For second visit, we were guided to sit at a small table right outside of washroom which is not very nice and we requested for a change. Suggest not to place table there. Service: Staff are friendly and helpful. But on busy days food can be very slow; we waited at least 10-15 minutes between each dish, after finishing one we have to sit & wait for another to come. Waiting time nearly doubled our actually earring time. Food: Really enjoy the food here. Vegetables are very fresh, tried curry fish & Thai style fish, between the two I highly recommend Thai fish, really nicely done, crispy and tasty! In general, defining worth coming more than once; but reservation is a must because this place is too popular.

Been wanting to try lingzhi for a looonng time and I finally did! My first time at Lingzhi and I’m definitely coming back with more people!! First of all, the service is amazing! The staff is very friendly and we felt very welcomed here. We had the a la carte dinner buffet and almost all the dishes were delicious. After a while I stopped taking pictures and focused on eating all the yummy food. Everything tasted fresh and I love the peach gum soup and the beancurd skin with mami sauce. Was disappointed by the dim sum and vegetarian fish cos my expectations were quite high after trying the other dishes, but they tasted ok. I wish I had more space to eat more food but I guess I’ll just have to come back next time!! (-: if you’re still thinking whether or not to try this place, this is ur sign to go now heheheh

Really good vegetarian dim sum place! Not sure why the a la carte menu is so expensive but we only come here for the buffet while is reasonably priced and the option s are diverse and delicious. We were starving so we ordered a lot of food including a few different types of dim sums. I loved their fried dishes but wasn't a fan of the dim sum but my friends loved the dim sums so it depends on your taste. The food came out fast and their service was great.

It's the only vegetarian restaurant I go to where I don't miss meat! Haha... The food has a very well done 'wok hei' and the flavors are interestingly complex. I'll give it 5 ⭐ if the food was cheaper.

LingZhi takes vegetarian fare to the next level. Set in a comfortable yet modern decor, that is also nostalgic of traditional chinese restaurants, Tung Lok Group's LingZhi delivers modern vegetarian fare. The menu while adventurous is also rooted in classic palate that do not stray to pretentiousness. I found myself enjoying the familiarity in the ingredients and taste profile. No mock meats here, LingZhi uses good, organic ingredients. The proof is in the soup: the Double-boiled Nourishing LingZhi Soup. Packed with flavor and high quality ingredients such as the namesake mushroom (reishi, the ancient "mushroom of immortality"), slow cooked to retain all the nutrients and heart-warming goodness. The Braised Organic Kale Broth is the next great soup to try. It's different yet same, like a traditional watercress or spinach soup except it's been boosted with Kale. For entrees, I tend to always order the Asparagus, Macadamia nuts and Lily Bulbs, a fun fresh dish with lots of crunch! The Macadamia is a clever complement (I plan to be "inspired" by this idea for some of my home cooking). This time I had the Organic Bitter Gourd with Shittake and the Fragrant Herbal Assorted Mushrooms, which were both very good with different profiles. The Bitter gourd is intense while the Assorted Mushrooms are more hearty and healthy. Finally I had the Fried Brown Rice. Fragrance and full of wok hei, I also like that they substituted the expected peas with edamame. Only comment: overall the dishes were a touch oily, but that's where the tea helps. For dessert, Chilled Aloe Vera with Lemon Jelly, a perfect finish to go back into the humid climate. The monkey head mushroom and Braised Yam and Vermicelli in Claypot are also worth to try. Addition: on my most recent visit, I was lucky to try the doubled boiled soup in young coconut. I was told it was prepared in super limited orders because of the special ingredient: a French Morel. The soup was naturally sweet and absolutely delicious. Also the presentation was fun in the Shang style vessel. A show stopper on the table.

Service and Food is Mediocre. They managed to goof up our main course order and brought a different dish from what we ordered. If you are looking for Indo-Chinese cuisine then this is definitely not the place. It is more for the authentic mainland palate.

Compliments to the excellent service in this outlet, they were fast, responsive and efficient. We came here for dinner on 8th of May, and halfway through the dinner service, we noticed a few bowls of rice weren't served yet. No worries, we informed the male staff and he immediately hurried off and got our bowls of rice. The young female staff was very alert and proactive, she occasionally checks and refills our tea pot lest we finish it. The only staff name I could see and remember was Hai Yan, she was one of the staff who contributed to our great dinner experience here. :)

Good place for vegetarian food. I really liked the butter mushroom as it was incredibly crisp and luscious in taste and texture. The fried rice is pretty good as it is soft and fluffy. It has a certain savouriness to it and it’s flavour is enhanced. The beans were also carefully seasoned and tasted crisp and amazing. Finally the noodles were really tasty and tasted like heaven. The mango pomelo sago was incredibly good too. It was sweet and bitter. Overall, a good place.

Overall the food was good, but the waiting of the food takes a bit too long. We were told by the staff to keep ordering as we only have 90 minutes and the QR code will expire. The reason why my friends and I did not order so many food at one go, because we want to try out if the food is to our liking before ordering more portion. Weekend (Saturday) lunch - per person $40+/- including peanuts and hot tea

LOVE! What? I went with a couple of people and we got various dishes to share. They were alll very good and the best part it was vegetarian (vegan friendly!) The presentation for some of them were a little disappointing comparing what is on the menu... Example the fish was NOTHING like what was on the menu book. They explanation form the staff was that there were complains that it resembled fish too much... But I really enjoyed all the dishes and they were relatively large and sharable. Environment This was inside a building. The interior looks pretty big. It could be a date location but it definitely looks more of a family and friends dinner/lunch location. Niceness of the staff Staff was decent. We were able to flag them down if needed. Nothing overly good or bad. The job was done. Dollar It was relatively affordable. Yes? I would

LingZhi is a part of a dying breed 🥲 of old school Chinese vegetarian restaurants in Singapore following the closure of places like it's branch in Novena and Miao Yi in Chinatown 😭. We are a fan of the buffet but this time we went for ala carte dinner. We had the sweet sour fish, spinach, mapo tofu, ee fu noodle 🍜 and the kale 🥬 soup 🍲. The service is prompt and helpful. The food is not too oily, and we really like the mapo tofu. They are handing out discount vouchers valid for one month, so hope you can get some yourself too!

Today went for this fantastic restaurant with my friends, I can say that this is the top vege restaurant in Singapore. The food are delicious, the staff are very friendly and good service (always smiling and pouring drink for us, etc). At the end, I asked the staff take out the birthday cake for my friend, and surprisingly they put the cake on a red plate rather than just the original plastic plate provided by cake house. And they even make some decoration such as flowers for us, really impressed us. Thank you LingZhi, I will come back again😄
