A large hawker center - spread over 2 floors, and one can find just about any cuisines including the typical Chinese and Malay food, drink/desserts stalls, and a few that does not always found in every hawker centers - mango pudding, peanut soup/ball, baguette, gourmet burger. My favorite is definitely Ah Boling peanut soup stall. Really good price and consistent quality. Have to try to mango pudding in the stall next door, and other stalls. It's a short walk along Beach Rd if you are in the Bugis area.

Headed here for lunch, and we tried out a new stall this time. Checkout the Golden Mile Curry Rice πŸ‘ located at level 2. Taste really good, with the think and generous amount of gravy. Ordered our favourite coffee as well to end our meal feeling satisfied.

Golden Mile Food Centre is one of the oldest hawker centre in Singapore that first opened in 1975 to house all the street hawkers from Jalan Sultan to improve sanitation and it is a 2 storey hawker centre with a 3rd storey selling army paraphernalia which is also known as the Army Market !!! This hawker centre is almost 50 years old in 2 years time and the ventilation in most of the older hawker centres is pretty bad as the ceilings are low, only those built in the last 10 years are much cooler with higher ceilings so that gigantic, power fans can be fixed to cool down the place in hot and humid Singapore. It is not a place to eat and chill but rather a place to eat and run immediately !!! 🀣🀣🀣 It is one of Singapore's most popular hawker centres in a gastronomically diverse food landscape in a melting pot of cultures and cuisines across the different dialects groups and internationally, offering a smorgasbord of food flavours. It was inscribed on UNESCO representative list of The Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2020 that serves as a testament to Singapore's hawker culture. Singapore is as cosmopolitan as it can be like New York, the Big Apple 🍎 of Asia and the Switzerland of Asia in the financial arena !!! Singapore has to be the cosmopolitan metropolis that it is because of its small size, a red dot on the world map reference by the many and with no natural resources for its survival !!!

Actually, we went to Oyster Boy to buy oyster pancakes. While queueing, I saw this curry stall beside it. So tempted, we decided to eat curry rice there and take away oyster pancakes. This curry stall has 5 basic sets: Curry chicken rice set $4.00, Pork Chop rice set $3.50, Chicken chop rice Set $3.50, Braised pork rice set $3.50 and fried fish rice set $5. We can top up with extras like curry sotong, minced pork, and vegetables with additional cost. Very reasonable price. Food is delicious and appetising. A photo is better than a thousand words.

Very big food centre/hawker centre with wide variety of food stalls. But the food were not the best I’ve tried. Food centre is considerably clean and tidy except for a few corners.

I am currently enjoying my 10th visit to Singapore and this place may be my favourite Hawker Centre. I discovered it on my 3rd visit and have been coming here since. I have a double lunch when I’m here; a $5 bowl of beef noodles and a $3.50 Hainanese Chicken Rice set - $3.50!!! Plus I always grab myself 2 pineapple & orange juices, 1 when I arrive and 1 when I leave. $15.50 for all of that.

It is a nice hawker center, with lots of variety of Singaporean food to choose from. I had a bowl of fish soup, and a cup of coconut milk avocado juice. The food was ok, and the drink was very good!

So many selections of delicious and affordable food. Seller aunties and uncles are so accommodating and friendly. I want to try everything, eat here and eat there but sadly, my stomach can only take in so little. Sigh.. wish i have more time here in Singapore.

2 level of cooked food, basement and first floor. Variety of food selection are available, from Chinese-Muslim- Indian-western. Some speciality stalls are found like Mr. Baguette, Indon Chendol, Turkish Kebap, Coffee More..... Some stalls are listed under Michelin guide but are season if past....yet to be renewn. Many stalls business as usual on a Sat afternoon. Queues are forming in some favourite stalls. Tables are netted to restrict crowds. Coffee More with freshly ground coffee beans, long queue, owner is proud, no big deal!

Ate from 3 stalls for our lunch - famous Cha Kuay Teow with vegetables and Lor Mee (the aisle directly facing CKT stall) and Flourful Delight. Both noodle dishes were very good. CKT had 2 succulent prawns (deshelled!) for $4.50. Wonderful flavour with addition of green veg. Husband's favorite Lor Mee had crispy fish skin and fried fish together with the usual ngoh hiang stuff. I'm only impressed with the first 2 items. Flourful Delight has very yummy Xiao Long Bao. Each bao had such thin skin containing the soup which I drank before eating the meat filling. Only grouse is that there was no decent chilli sauce to go with them. Only red cut chilli in soy sauce. 😬 The fried dumplings were good too. Had chives in them which I like. Up the taste factor. Will go back to try more stalls.

A popular hawker centre in the heart of the city. To name a few famous stalls, Hainan hokkien mee, Da po chicken rice and curry noodles, 91 froed kuey tiao and of course keng heng lor mee. There are so many but these that mentioned are my favourites. A great hawker centre i certainly hoped the government will preserved. Nostalgic comfort food

One of my favourite hawker centers in the city. Wide selection of food with excellent quality, healthy mixture of old and new stalls and several drink and desert options. Only 4 star because cleanliness sometimes could be better, tables can be quite dirty but you can see the workers working tirelessly to improve this.

Back again for the chicken cutlet. When I open up the freshly pack rice, I was hit by the fragrance of the curry and the pork cutlet. Though the rice has been soak in gravy for a short while, the rice remains firms and does not turn soft and soggy. I think it was due to the slight undercook rice to balance out the heavy gravy. Generously servings of rice, vegetables and 1 fried egg. Perpetual long queues but is worth queuing for. $3.50

Very popular local food center with a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisine. The queues can be long, but definitely worth it. The top level is a bunch of reasonably priced military surplus and sew shops. Try the Lor Mee at 02-86!

My first visit yesterday and I’m in love with the middle eastern food there especially the Turkish Food Stall. I ordered Chicken Kebab Roll ($6) and Chicken Kebab with Butter Rice ($8) and their homemade Baklava (8pcs for $20). My hubby ordered Biryani with Lamb Shank ($10) from Nasi Arab. My youngest girl ordered Fried Kway Teow with Chye Sim ($4.50) from stall #01-91. We ordered some vadai and Nyonya kueh to share after lunch. We also ordered Iced Lemon Tea and Iced Milo. Rating for food and drinks: 5/5 We will definitely return to eat other food like the fried Hokkien prawn noodles, Braised pork rice, boneless chicken rice, steamed pork dumplings, western food and Muslim food.

Good portion of fishball noodles for $4! First time seeing char siew pork as one the ingredients given, but goes really well with the seasoning and mee pok noodles. Fishballs were so soft and bouncy, mee pok perfectly seasoned with a nice kick of spice and the prawn was fresh and sweet! Fulfilling bowl of noodles and tasty soup for $4! Can easily go for the $5 bowl if very hungry.

Extremely huge selection and very famous and delicious hawker stalls! Definitely worth to spend your lunch here! So many choices and don't worry about the affordability, it's like every other hawker, but better The Laksa stall was extremely delicious as seen in reviews! The black bun burger was mediocre but for the price, don't expect excellence. It meets its price point for sure though, worth a try. If i were to pick laksa vs burger, laksa for the win

Are U Hungry πŸ˜‹? #AUHBMark #AUHFCHainaneseCurryRice #AUHFCOatMilk Stall : Golden Mile Curry Rice #01-100 + OATla ! #01-109. @ Golden Mile Food Centre, 505 Beach Road. Just 2 of us, for our FoodTrail at Golden Mile FC, after 2 ladies gone missing due to appointment and last min Zoom meeting. Nevertheless, Ms Susan, a Malaysian/ PR, worked in Singapore for at least 20 years as Accountant and I met for the 1st time as recently she joined our team and we chatted but never meet. So, it’s great to have face time face meeting over lunch as she saw how I did the photo shooting + how AUH was borne and what I meant for the communities and my plans for the 2 segment focused … πŸ˜±πŸ˜… We had Curry πŸ› Rice with ala-carte dishes and ordered 2 Oat Milk πŸ₯› drink from OATla ! And Mr Sam was so appreciative of the writeout and thanked me in person and we had Wifie too ! and I managed to take a shot of his stall too ! Our curry rice was full of flavours of chicken curry coupled with egg plant and long beans for my plate while Susan’s added squid πŸ¦‘ to the similar dishes too ! After meal, I brought her for a roundabout walk in the Food Centre where all great Food + Heritage resided; spent about 2 hrs of sharing ! Preview our Photos collage ! Cheers πŸ₯‚ β€” at Golden Mile Curry Rice

Hainanese curry rice. $3.50 for pork or chicken chop, curry veg, fried egg. Popular with nearby office workers, queue start at 12pm, about 10pax in queue. Likes the curry as compared to other hainanese curry typically sweet and not spicy. i prefer their version of curry, slight spicy and savory. Value for $$$ for the generous portion and taste. Why pay more for Katsu curry, when this is just fraction of the price for better taste..

Thick creamy curry rice for a reasonable price (from $3.50). The curry is not bad and not spicy at all. Pork chop portion is ample, coated with bread crumbs and deep fried till crispy. Cabbage is stewed till soft and the price even includes an egg. Added some mutton rendang for $4 (total $7.50). Still prefer Malay food stalls for mutton rendang.

CNY eve dinner. Had the Roti John combo, Beef Steak Kuah, Nasi Pataya combo and Mee Kuah. The gravy/sauce flavorful as expected from Deen but the noodle for the mee kuah a little undercooked. Roti John was drenched with cheese sauce and mayonnaise. I supposed some people like it 5hat way but I prefer my Roti John simple like the original Botanic Garden.

Lots of good food options here! Come by around 11am so you can enjoy your favourite food without the long lunch queues 😝 the char kway teow from 91 char kway teow was amazing!!! Even without the pork lard! (No pork no lard). Hokkien mee from Youfu was full of wokhei and very flavourful. One of the newer ones at the food centre - Oyster Boy πŸ¦ͺ does a mean huge version of oyster cake!! And Cat in the Hat does a variety of bakes at affordable prices πŸ‘

Wanton Mee #01-95. One that I highly recommend to eat. The noodles is cook to perfection. Just the way it supposed to be. πŸ™…Soggy but chewy. Sauce used blends in well with the noodles. Pork lard is used. ❀️They have 5 wontons instead of 3. Wonton also taste πŸ‘. Soup is clear and taste πŸ‘. This is a $4 portion. Just nice to fill me up for lunch. Yummy πŸ˜‹! Old Amoy Chendol #01-96. One of my favorite desert I would not leave without trying. The best Chendol I have tasted. ❀️They are πŸ™…Stingy with their palm sugar. Palm sugar is thick and nice. πŸ₯₯ is thick, nice & not watery. ❀️Red beans mashed. The way Chendol is supposed to taste; traditional way. Ice is mashed to very fine. For $2.50 will definitely return for more. Highly recommend to try if you are in this area.

Nasi Arab #B1-20. I tried the food by recommendations on the social media. I had Lamb Mandy and others. The meat is soft and tender. The sauces are tasty. Delicious I can say. The stall owner is friendly and approachable. Do come down to try it to witness it yourself.

In 2019 we stayed right down the street from this center and ate there often. Now we still come back regardless of where we stay since it has so many options to choose from including a few late night options. Definitely try the boneless Hainanese chicken rice, the curry chicken upstairs is also good. The stalls range from breakfast sets to late night nasi goreng, definitely worth a look.

First time been here. There has a lot of nice food, the environment as a hawker center was upgraded to more spacey and hygiene. We came here for steam fish, curry rice, hawker barista coffee and peanut tang yuan. All is good, delicious and worth the queue.

Teochew Oyster meat puff is too good to be missed! Puff is stuff with full of minced meat, 2 oysters and 4 prawns. Is super juicy and crispy, and goes very well with the chilli sauce. Is not cook quite the same way like 30+ years back but the crispiness and taste definitively worth every calories. Will come back for more again.

A hawker centre with a lot of nice foods. Came on Saturday and it was very crowded, actually the hawker center not very hot, but feel a bit uncomfortable due to the direction of wall fan is blow to 1 direction instead of rotating. Quite a lot of stall using those disposable plate and cutlery and all are very very light if without food, so the plate/ cutlery might "fly" when the fan blow towards the plate. Very recommended the HK style chee cheong fan ($3.50 for peanut sauce) and the coffee from Kopi more $2.40 (hot). The pastry from Mr Baguette are very nice too, I tried few times, very recommend chocolate flavor, this time try tiramisu, also not bad.

Just a short walk away from the Nicoll Highway MRT Station (Circle Line). The walk is also fully sheltered, so no worry about the rain or the glaring sun. Alot of food choices here, which is delicious and reasonably priced. I always come here to enjoy a good bowl of lor mee from 86 Lor Mee stall. The rich luscious braised sauce coated the yellow noodles. The plate of crispy fried fish, meat roll and wanton skin is served on a separate plate to prevent them from turning soggy in the braise sauce. Never forget to add black vinegar for more oomph. They also have belachan chilli for an optional fiery kick!

Forgot to snap photos of the stall and the dishes as I was in a rush. Food wasn't up to par for such a stall with many good reviews. Tried the chicken, pork chops, braised pork, cai po egg and heng cai. Vege and egg were acceptable bit not much to shout about. Chops were just too dry to carry much flavour and braised pork didn't fare much better. Maybe should have added more gravy for the overall appreciation of the dish but made do with the default amount given. There were people constantly queuing in the short time i was there so may go by for a second assessment if ever around the area again. Service was polite and the stall owner even went to the trouble of clearing his logistics in the midst of the long queue to top up the disposable cutlery.

I chanced upon the delicious Keng Heng Lor Mee, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I visited on a Wednesday morning at around 11am, and to my surprise, there was no wait. Usually, this place is packed with long queues, but I guess I lucked out. From the moment I took my first bite, I was hooked. The crispy fish skins were unforgivingly delicious, and the thick, well-flavoured gravy was an absolute treat for my taste buds. The noodles were perfectly cooked and glided down my throat with every mouthful. What I appreciated most about the experience was the care that the aunty took in listening to my order. I asked for less noodles, and she made sure that my order was exactly as I wanted it. It's these little things that make a good experience, and as a result, I left as a very happy customer. Overall, I highly recommend Keng Heng Lor Mee to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying Lor Mee. The food is amazing, and the service is top-notch. Thank you to the aunty for a wonderful experience, and I will come back again soon!

Great place although eateries appear to have various degrees of cleanliness so pick your battle. I picked Wen Li and had the Taiwanese braised pork set ($6.50) came with rice, cucumber salad and of course braised pork, as a side it came with popcorn chicken. I have to say it was close to the best fried chicken I've ever had and I've had a few!! For dessert I had Old Amoy Chendol ($2.50) shaved ice with coconut milk, red beans, Pandan Chendol jelly and charcoal brewed gula Melaka (syrup) sauce. All the dishes were delicious!! Will definitely come back when in Singapore 😁
