We were their first customer so the owner comped our drinks! The air is muggy and humid so we were happy to have found a place to rest up and eat! The customer service was great. Food was awesome but a little pricey. They allow you to pay with credit card which is nice because the exchange rate is higher than our CC rate. The watermelon juice was delicious real watermelon juice: we order a beef plate and a chicken plate. Both were excellent but I prefer the flavoring of the chicken one better

Visited 13 July 2023 humid summer evening. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience. Multiple visit to this restaurant serving Turkish delicacy. Located at Kampong glam, Bussorah street. We had a great and delicious dinner for the night. The food was filling and delicious dessert 🎂 and Turkish coffee was fantastic. And the dining atmosphere vibes was good with outdoor sitting. Food 4 ⭐ Services 4 ⭐ Atmosphere 4 ⭐ Return to try again definitely 😁 Drop by the next time when you visit Kampong Glam I'm pretty sure you will like it here. Cheers

The food was not too bad. First time having Lebanese food. The chicken was cooked nicely and the basmati rice was seasoned well. The lamb chops were on the drier side. Overall interesting meal. Recommended for group dinners.

Sanobar Lebanese Restaurant in Singapore is a hidden culinary gem that whisks diners away to the flavors of Lebanon. The restaurant offers a delectable and authentic Lebanese dining experience, from succulent shawarmas to flavorful falafels and tantalizing baklava desserts. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the friendly staff ensures a delightful dining experience. The menu caters to various dietary preferences and offers a true taste of Middle Eastern cuisine. Staff is so welcoming and friendly! Whether you're a fan of Lebanese food or new to it, Sanobar is a must-visit, I enjoyed the place so much when I visited Singapore in January!

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to eat here. But eat I did at this Lebanese restaurant and found a little slice of heaven. The food was delicious and the staff was helpful - explaining the dishes and how to eat them. Portions were generous too. The ones I had seen to be enough for two. I could barely crawl back home!

Excellent Lebanese food. We ordered the grilled meat platter for 2. The meat was a mix of mutton and chicken. The kebabs were soft and tender. The lamb ribs where had a nice char and were tender. It is served with flavourful mandi rice, hummus and salad. Highly recommend to visit.

In the Arabic neighborhood, we found this Lebanese restaurant. They recommend us the mixed meat platter with chicken and lamb, rice, bread, salad and hummus and it was a very big tasty food. Good choice and the staff was very friendly.

Wonderful food. Had the Kofta and BBQ chicken plus salad and was more than 2 of us could eat. Lovely fresh fruits juices also. Friendly staff. Went back the second night for more.

First time trying Lebanese food and it was really nice with a very good vibe. the ambiance was all set and whole arab street experince was lit. Hummus with bread and apple teas is a myst try dish over here. The price is on the higher side and I would say going in a group pf 5-6 people will be good as we get to try lot of new dishes.

I was craving Mediterranean food one Saturday night and this is the only restaurant open who serves solo plate. I took my chance to see and try. Food: Its okay, nothing exceptional. Its a bit dry and taste of the meat is a bit bland. Not much seasoning I guess. The sauce that comes with it is the only thing that gives the meat some taste. Service: My experience was not pleasant. I was standing in the entrance for probably a good 7min and no one is entertaining me. I tried calling the attention of the supervisor by waving but to no avail. I had to wave and say “excuse me” in a little higher tone (I normally do not do this) to one of the seemingly nice waiter before someone can attend to me. The supervisor just seems so detached to his job as he was wearing airpods the entire time and sometimes on a video call, walking here and there. The 1-star is for the seemingly nice waiter who took time on me, if not for him, this should have been 0. And that my friend, was my experience one Saturday night.

Nice food. Requested for some cherry tomatoes on the side and was spot on. Chicken was cook perfectly and tender. Good service staff. Was given a mint tea after meal. 5 star for the chefs and service crew. A must go to restaurant. ;)

Spacious area but the tables are congested. Really struggling to sit in and get out of the table. The food is delicious but not something to remember. The price is higher compared to other restaurants around. But most of the time you will get a discount but you have to ask for it before ordering. Most of the Payment gateways are acceptable here. On an average you have to spend 30 SGD per person for a meal. Overall experience is so so.

Me and my partner ate here last night and the food was awesome! It was reasonably priced especially for the quality and quantity (we had the meat sharing platter for 2) and the staff were great especially Anil who was very kind and attentive.

Chicken from the 4 pax grill platter was DIVINE; so well seasoned and tender. Labneh was fresh and refreshing as well. Rest of the dishes are good too, but these 2 are definite winners :)

Last Friday my husband and I visited Sanobar during our trip to Singapore! I am Brazilian and my husband is English. We both are big fans of Middle Eastern cuisine, and our experience at this restaurant increased our appreciation for this cuisine even more! The food was simply wonderful, great service, the restaurant owner welcomed us very well and even recommended some dishes to us! We will definitely return on our next visit to Singapore! We highly recommend it!

One of the better kunafe’s I’ve eaten in Singapore. Condiments were on the side; to be added in yourself which is good as you can control the quantity to your liking. Also bought apple tea but was abit too sweet . Could have been better if we had sugar on the side. Owner was also very friendly. Staff were attentive as well.Overall a good experience, will return again next time

Snobar has been my go-to Lebanese restaurant in Arab St since 2017. The consistent quality of their dishes, especially the Lamb Mandi, Lamb Chops and Kunafa paired with a cup of Mint Tea is so satisfying and keeps me coming back. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff contribute to the overall delightful dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Lebanese cuisine.

Friendly staff, efficient service. Street seating, and the staff goes out of their way to make your experience comfortable! I found Lebanese food very similar to Turkish food with slightly differing names. Delicious fare, extensive menu. Loved the visit! Bit pricey.

Introduced to this place by a Lebanese friend. He says this is one of the more authentic Lebanese cuisines & less commercial than other places. Had the Lamb Kofta for lunch & Tabbouleh (not pictured) for sharing. The lamb is perfectly grilled & the seasoning is just right, not too strong, so you can still enjoy the smokiness from the grilled meat. The grilled chilli is a perfect companion for the meat & unassumingly strong.

Nice establishment and friendly staff, 3-stars might be a little harsh because I think this was just a case of the wrong place for a quick mid-week lunch. It's aimed at higher end Lebanese dining experience and there's not much in the way of "working lunch" options. The shawarma was good quality but the price point (all-up $17 when the service charge and $1 tap water was included) made it a pricey choice. Probably a better experience if going for a group dinner.

Sanobar is this lovely restaurant by the corner around Bussorah Street. The service was quick, staff was friendly and food was delicious. For the quality of food, the price point was also okay. They also offered us free tea which was really nice of them. I would recommend this place!

One of the best restaurants in Arab Street, I visited it many times, and it always served high quality food. All thanks to the owner of the restaurant, who was always keen to satisfy customers, Mr. Nabil.

Tasty, authentic Lebanese food, and reasonably priced considering where we are. Quick, professional service. Halloumi and hummus lamb dish were excellent!

One of the best restaurants to go to.. and we gonna dive right into their reviews Location: Located right opposite of Kg Glam Cafe, at the T-junction where you can view Sultan Mosque, about 100m away. One of the strategic located restaurant and quite prominent even from a distant away. Food: The food was superbly yummy and the portion is crazy to look at. Even for a single person eating, the portion looks big. Taste is slightly different compared to middle east food BUT it is suited to our local taste, so ya, d word is just "Yummz!!" Service: Staff was attentive to ALL patrons.. they made sure the food arrived as per order chit.. they made sure to make our smiles up.. they really made our day.. !! Atmosphere: Although Kg Glam is bustling with life, you dont really feel the push n shouts of the area. It feels as though you are shaded from all the mess around. Price: Ok.. this is something you need to note, big time. All good things that is great, dont come cheap. We will not disclose the price as diff patron, diff pocket size. Some may find it cheap, some not.. so check images of what has been posted by others. To us, its abit on the higher end. But based on all d above, d price is rather negligible. So ya, whichever direction rocks your boat ya. Cheers!! #sanobar #kgglam #kandaharst #kandahar

We got the 2 person share plate. It was a lot of food, all delicious and somehow ate it all! The drinks took a while to come out but it was a busy time.

The first time we went to Sanobar, we were actually heading to another place and apparently the owner of Sanobar showed us the way.. but because of some misunderstanding of booking, we came back to Sanobar and I am happy with the misunderstanding as we discovered the best middle eastern restaurant in that area … Sanobar has amazing food with very good proportion for that price and the staff is super friendly and always ready to make the experience memorable for you… their kunafa is to die for.. Have been there a few times since then and both the food and service every time is impeccable.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. I had been far too long since I had food that filled my belly and soul. Most memorable was the coffee and the beautiful cup it was served in. As for the food, by the time I was full I still wanted to eat more. Truly a gem in Singapore, you must come dine here.
